They, removed one of the two staircases coming off…read morethe deck, changed out the old wood railing system for the maintenance free kind, all new support posts and rotten deck board repairs, replaced the fascia with maintenance free boards to match the railing system, added a new gate at the top of the stairs, a new gate was also added to the fence below. They chiseled out 3 old deck piers no longer in use. They did a fantastic job. They were here around 8am every morning. They cleaned up their area every day. Both Glenn and Caleb were easy to talk to and answered any questions and concerns we had through the process. Overall, a couple of really nice guys that worked really hard each day they were here. Caulk failed prior to first heavy rain. -Slider on back of house also lacked an aluminum rain cap and caulk when payment was requested for a completed job. I called and Maris came out and caulked. No capping on slider. -"Installation includes all caulking/aluminum capping-where needed" is stated on the Maris contract. -First heavy rain 3 weeks after install I had heavy water running down the sheathing and interior foundation wall below one window where caulk failed, and wrap was catching water. -Maris paid for Servpro water remediation to dry up the water and do a flood cut after I requested it. Maris and I agreed to have Alside's warranty contractor detail and repair all the issues from my install in April 2024. See after picture of the water intrusion window where an aluminum rain cap was never installed. Window was taped.

I called STL Design and Build Design, setup an appointment as my last resort. STL Design sent Tom Levinson. Mr. Levinson arrived earlier than time with his assistant. This is definitely a rare. We went through the areas for remodeling. Tom sat me down and listen to all I wanted to do. Then it came down to the details and pricing. The wants an can't live without. We finished with an estimated quote that we were very happy with. Tom was wonderful. He gave me sound advice on my selections for the kitchen remodel. He went through the cost, time-line, and process. Tom went to warehouses with me for selections on the items. Matthew Pevehouse, thank goodness for him. I had a family emergency out-of-state. Matt took care of everything for us. The whole crew were wonderful. Matt took pictures and kept me up to date. If there was an issue it was quickly resolved. My husband and I are thrilled with the results. The look is absolutely fabulous, the craftsmanship and quality of products excellent, and done on time. Thank You STL for a wonderful experience. I was replacing four windows and two patio doors…read more Every single one of them came in defective. they tried to replace the defective windows a few times, but the replacement came in defective again. It took 4 to 5 different appointment so they can get the non-defective windows. The sad part of it is I contacted the owner so he can come and look at the defective patio door that I still have in my house. He called me back. He sat an appointment with me , but he never showed up for his appointment. basically, he took my money and he didn't provide the service that I was promised.
