Me and my girlfriend and her sister went into this store about 7 months ago to buy brand new…read moresmart-phones. In total we spent over $2000 dollars in one visit. We were told in person that if we pay a 15/month warranty (each) that we have up to 5 FREE BRAND NEW phone replacements as well as ANY accessories that come with our purchases REPLACED ON-SITE . We were shown two to three documents stating the payment agreement for our phones and the continuation of our service provider plans. We were made to sign digitally, it looked like way to many signatures for just those three documents. 6 months later we had cracked phones ("accidental damage"), but we were happy because - Oh were covered! -. It was a scam. He took advantage of us because we are younger (around 20 y/o). He made us unknowingly sign the documents that we had not seen yet and then stapled a huge package together which he slipped into the bag after purchase. We returned to the mall to file a warranty claim today. Upon arrival we were told to phone Geeksquad as they handled all the warranty claims. Geek Squad said that the 5 free phone replacements and the free accessories are not and have never been included in the warranty. It would cost 100 dollars (mine was about 150) to fix a small crack on the back, and instead of getting my own FIXED phone back (OR A NEW ONE) we get a refurbished phone. We made a second trip to Best Buy Mobile (Burlington Mall). The manager that sold us the phones originally was working. He told us that never happened and said "Im not going to argue, were going to have to agree to disagree" and "I always tell my customers about the 100+ deductible included in the replacement" even though moments before he said "Yes your warranty covers free replacement phones upon accidental damage". He then followed up by saying "Then cancel your warranty". We did cancel our warranty and we will not be going back. -C Morris

Johnny at Direct Cell was amazing!!! I don't write reviews normally but he definitely deserves one…read more I dropped my iPhone XR in water the night before and my SIM card was not working. So the next day I rushed in 1 hr before he closed. He had 2 other phone to work on and we gave him my wife's old iPhone 6+ to replace the battery for $60. He told me my phone will be $25 for a cleaning and if that doesn't work $70 to replace the SIM card port. I foolishly told him I would bring it back in 2 days. We then went to wait in the mall while my wife's battery was being replace. I check a repair shop there and they carelessly ripped open my phone and told me $225 to fix my phone and then went to another stupid used iPhone sales and repair shop in the mall and they told me my phone was destroyed and it would cost $519 to replace it. Obviously I didn't choose any of those options. Johnny called us back 30 min later letting us know my wife's phone was finished. We went there and I told him I wanted him to fix my XR after all. He opened it up very very carefully and showed me exactly what the problems were. He showed me where the water inside can be seen. He stayed after store hours with me and fixed it in 15 minutes. He ended up charging me only $25 for the cleaning and my phone works as good as new. I offered a $5 tip but he refused and simply asked for a good review. I gladly agreed!! Johnny at Direct cell is kind, honest, knowledgeable, definitely in my opinion skilled and reliable. Don't hesitate to take you phone for repair here. Thanks again Johnny, you saved me $200-$400!!

Under 30 minutes and had a screen protector put on for another $5-$10. The 2 times I didn't I regretted it very much. Don't let that be you, go to ITech Mobile and get it done. They won't smile at you but you'll get service done right and efficiently.

This place has been open for a few years, and looks to have a sister shop elsewhere in the city, going by googling the name, even though the sign looks different it's pretty close. They have a great selection of accessories with their phone cases clearly labeled and easy to find on the shelves. I asked about Apple Airtag cases and no bueno there tho. At the back there is a repair counter with fairly good prices, and in line with most of the other neighboring shops like this one. If you need a new screen, or new battery, this would be a good place to get a cash price especially for an older or cheap phone. Don't take your expensive newer iPhone here as you could likely end up with a downgrade in the parts, and instead go across the street to Jump Plus and get Apple genuine parts. That said, we came here for yet another new screen protector for an iPhone 11 Pro that's still under warranty. I could have taken that phone back to Costco and got a new SP for free under warranty, but since the phone isn't with me any more, it's easier to just go here and pay $15 cash and done. We grabbed a new bling case for $12 for the iPhone and the dude even gave us a deal on a display model personal USB fan, wowsa!
