I had a wonderful customer service experience today at 2 pm. I spoke to Dale on the phone, and I told him that my CupFone snapped at the base. He said come in as they had some extra parts and could replace that piece that was broken 'Free' of charge. I went to the store and spoke to Shawn, and explained to him what happened, and what Dale said...Shawn, looked at my CupFone smiled and said, "We could better than that, and they replaced my whole unit for free." I was shocked. I work in Customer Service and never been given such 'royal treatment' on an exchange. WeatherTech Canada stands behind their products, no questions asked! I saw the commercial and that commercial really stuck in my head. I recently bought a new car and friends suggested me to get all weather mats if I don't want my car to stink. Too bad I didn't negotiated the deal with the car dealer. Oh well... I ended up going online and checking out WeatherTech mats. They are made upon ordering. It took about 3 weeks before it got to me (placing the order, made and delivered). The box said WeatherTech Canada and the mats are all made in the USA. They are custom made mats based on the model of the vehicle. The mats front and back worked out to be $301. Not bad for the price. They are made to last for a long long time or should I say life of the car. The mats fitted perfectly except with the one in the driver seat. It had a small gap on the side. I am not going to bother complaining. It was not a big deal. I liked the mats and I am sure it will keep my car clean. Overall, Happy Purchase! read more

Installed 4 window deflectors and didn't notice a scratch on one until I was finished. I emailed WeatherTech to get a replacement and was told because I had installed the deflector I could be the one who damaged it (talk about calling your customer a liar ) and all they could do was 10% off. The service is garbage, do not order from WeatherTech, all they want is the visa number online so they can charge for a product, that, in my case, doesn't show up because it gets lost. Absolute garbage customer service. It's not that difficult to ship anything anymore, but to be blamed by their customer service for a lost product,.... F you guys. The product itself is fine, I have the mats in my mdx, for years, the problem, the company itself, start honouring your product, your service, its quite simple, .....keep running your BS commercials..... keep charging visa's online and shipping it to no where land so you can justify it in the end. Their license plate frames are quite expensive but come with a lifetime warranty so I figured they might be worth it over time. The little clips that hide the screws are garbage and break half the time when you take them out, it's even right in their FAQ how bad they are. They refuse to warranty them and sell them instead. If you are putting your new registration sticker on each year you're guaranteed to have all 4 broken within a year or two. I'd give them a 1/5 but their mats are pretty good so I'm going with a 2/5. read more

We mistakenly ordered the wrong model of floor liners and drove twice with them before it was realized they didn't fit quite right. We talked to customer service and were instructed to send them back for a full refund even though they were slightly used. After we paid $55 for shipping, they were received and rejected by WeatherTech because they were not brand new. We contacted them multiple times after that and spoke to the manager to at least refund the shipping cost because we were following their instructions. We would have never sent them back if they weren't going to provide at least a partial refund. They refused to refund anything after multiple calls and emails, including to the manager. Terrible customer service knowledge, terrible ethics, and a terrible product that looked used after only 2 drives. (and pretty ugly product too) read more

I remember a while back seeing commercials for this company's products which was basically perfectly fitting floor mats for your car. The actual showroom for WeatherTech is so close to where I work so I popped in to pick up my new car mats. I had called a day previously to see if they had stock and that I'd be able to purchase them in store. The person I spoke to was able to check stock instantly and said they had what I was looking for. I recently gave my car to my brother and ended up buying a newer model of the same car and it was a model recent enough to have floor mats made by WeatherTech and seeing as how I was always at wits end with my older car's floor mats I'm happy to have been able to get these new mats for my new car. I really hate how my back seat car mats end up floating or shifting all over the place end up bunched up under the front seats all the time. Now these car mats are pretty expensive they aren't super thick but they bend even though they are plastic type as opposed to rubber with no carpet type material. I ended up getting both the back seat (one large piece) and both driver and passenger seat mats. The mats can be sold separately and in my case that being the back mats is one entire piece that fits behind the front seats and over the middle hump. The front mats although they are 2 are sold together. Since the floor mats are made to fit your make and model exactly it leaves little to guess as to how these mats fit on your car's floor. To answer that question for me, they fit EXACTLY. The back single large mat and hump "onesie" won't move at all. The sidewall of the mat curl up to edges of the mat by over an inch. While they don't completely come up right to the door they cover enough. The front mats lock into the floor mat notches which is to prevent shifting and is also a safety feature in that your mat won't shift and jam up under a peddle preventing you from say... braking. Note this mats replace ALL mats in the car. You are not really supposed to use anything else especially on the driver side whether above or below. These mats while rather pricey are a nice addition to help protect your vehicle's interior. They offer free shipping with purchase but I didn't have to have them shipped since I picked them up. There is no discount for buying in person but there is a tiny discount if you buy both front and back in one purchase. I ordered floor mats for an older truck as a gift for my Dad for Christmas on the 7th of December. I got an email back on the 8th saying the mats wouldn't be available for 2-4 weeks and that they would not bill me until they were. Then I randomly got an email February 6th (2 months later) saying the cc didn't go through (I cancelled it because of fraud). So I called them to give them the new cc. But before doing that, they asked me if I wanted my mats in black since the grey ones I ordered were not available yet. I was then confused since why would they bill me for them if they were not ready; the lady I talked to just kept saying it was because I needed to pay but also the grey wasn't in the warehouse. I asked to speak to a manager, and left a message. NO ONE got back to me. So, then I got another email about the billing on the 13th. I called them to pay it with my new cc on the 14th and their answer to me was they CANCELLED my order!!! I'm done! read more

Good luck trying to return something. I drove all the way to the store in Burlington after being given a return number on the phone. I get there and the guy at the counter looks at them and says "no problem, we'll process your refund and you should see it in a few days". The next thing I know is I get an email saying there will be no refund because the mats were inspected by management and look like they were used - they were not. If they were, wouldn't the guy at the counter say something at the time? Anyways, I'm trying to appeal, but I am not hopeful. read more

i have weather tech mats in my 2013 SUV since new. I find they protect the sides and front carpet fairly well but not the back area under the seats.I have a large salt stain on the carpet just at the back of the weather tech mat as the mat is not high enough at the back of the mat to prevent salt stains in this area.I clean the mats frequently in the winter and it seems to not make any difference. read more

Followup to my last one-star review .... the other day I went in person from Oshawa to their store in Burlington ...a total waste of time. Have never been treated so rudely by a representative in my life. He did not care that I had driven for an hour and a half to get there, he didn't care that his company had not answered my emails and voice messages for a week, and he didn't care that he could not trace my online order, because "it is a totally different operation." He was grudgingly able to tell me that the item I wanted is on back order, with no idea when they would get it. We are now a month and a half into my online order, a week and a half (and counting) with no answer from my email or voice message, and my order is still floating around somewhere in cyberspace. Yet this company continues to advertise on tv and in print. Yes, if you want a stock item such as a phone cup or a bump step, you can get it right away ... but God forbid if you want to order an item that is custom fit to your vehicle. If it doesn't happen to be in stock, you will have no expectation of when it will arrive, or where it is in the queue. And good luck trying to get a human being on the phone or an email answer from "customer service." I am going to try to phone their US number, and even though they will tell me that they are totally separate from the Canadian operation, I might be able to speak to a human being to tell someone about their lousy non-existent customer service. Stay tuned for Part III. Would give them zero stars if that were possible. The sad thing is, that I actually would want to buy their bump-step for my truck ... but I am so turned off by them that I do not want to give them any more money. Got a front set of mats for my Mustang as a gift. They fit great but could someone explain why after putting a 2"+ edge on them they make a hole in the lower left corner for the hook in the carpet (driver side only). Needless to say where all the salt and water goes. read more

Hopeless customer service. Placed an on-line order. Paid with credit card and payment went through. But month and more later the mats never arrived. It was next to impossible to get a response from their customer service. When eventually I did get through, there was not any acceptance of responsibility or apology. Customer Service is literally non existent in this company. After being on hold for 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone, I find out that 10 days after I placed an online order it hasn't even been packaged yet!!! Literally no progress from the day I ordered it although credit card has been charged. Despite them saying that it hasn't been because they don't charge it until it is packaged...I see the charge on my credit card (offered to send the manager John a copy to show him but he declined saying that was not in his control) John also said that basically there is nothing under his control so not sure why he is a manager!!! I asked to cancel my order since they said it would be basically another 14-20 days....I live 2 hours from Burlington. I asked for a confirmation number which I was told by the manager they don't issue. Then asked when I could expect a refund of the credit card to which I was told again OUT OF THEIR CONTROL!!!!!. I have never come across a company which refuses to take responsibility for anything. Totally disappointed and a bit confused that they are still in business!!!
