Not sure I understand this winery. We have visited some 50+ wineries and only once have we left without finishing our tasting, and now this is twice. And very few times have we left without buying at least one bottle. The sweets are not sweet and the rest are just not that good. And, how do you sell a port wine without tasting it. I get the limited supply but come on. Smart business management is not something apparent here. read more

Weathered Vineyard wines are diverse and tasty! They offer great food trucks and local nibbles that pair perfectly. The entertainment is always great on the weekends. A friendly, "bar-like" location nestled in the countryside. Relaxed, casual, come as your type of location - which was perfect. We enjoyed a couple of flights, along with some cheese and crackers. The flights were generous and showed solid range, and the cheese/crackers were definitely fresh and locally produced. You can tell by the quality. Our light food selections went perfectly with the wines. We picked up several bottles to take with us and shared them during visits with friends and family. Our experience exceeded our expectations and we look forward to visiting again. read more

Saw some signs for this winery while headed home so we decided to stop. It's a small winery carrying mostly dry/semi-dry wines with the sweetest wines having around 5% RS. They also carry a few fruit wines. We both decided on a flight to try, which was 5 wines for $10. The gentleman that took care of us wasn't overly friendly but he was nice. The mango wine slushie was pretty good, but I wasn't a huge fan of their wines. The outdoor covered porch was nice to sit on...no seating indoors. They also have cute little wine trinkets, magnets, etc for purchase. read more

If you like dry wines, this is the place to go. There is a limited food selection but you can bring your own treats. There is a decent amount of indoor seating area. Ant they have the friendliest dogs. read more

Ample parking-the winery is a large side barn, ready for large wine events to bring people together. We arrived pretty much at their initial opening on a Sunday, when they were getting ready for a big event later that day. This led to us sort of on and off being interrupted, but the pourer was very pleasant. There isn't much to the inside of the winery, the big appeal seems to be the outside area (which is still just a concrete patio) $5 for 5 wines, you can self-select your choices among 6 whites, 1 rose, and 5 reds. The tasting sheets are adorable, with a big write-up on the owners, sad-neutral-happy faces to record your wine, and great descriptions. We tried: Chardonnay: citrus and butter (didn't work as a blend) Naked: a steel age version made it crisper but the citrus is still too strong on the aftertaste Riesling: fizzy Traminette: plain, almost like honey water Solstice: the blend of a ton of whites makes it much heartier than the stand alones Pinot Noir: light body but with character Cab Franc: too light, no pepper Merlot: no Cab Sav: no-too fruity, no body Twister: sweet-juice-like, good for a music day like today Nice staff, but the wines need to develop. I do love their story though, maybe some R&D on aging bolder wines : ) read more

Wonderful customer service and great wine! We were a group of 10 and all did wine tasting. I really enjoyed their Pinot Gris. Everyone found a wine they liked and they were so knowledgeable. They were also welcome to us bringing our own food and eating on their nice outdoor space. Extra perk is their adorable New Foundland dog to play with. I can't wait to come back here! read more

Had a spontaneous visit here this weekend. There was a special event when we showed up. It was pretty busy. We went in and did a wine tasting. I preferred the white wines to the Reds. The blush was nice too. If you are a red wine snob, will will most likely only enjoy the cab franc. The other reds are more light bodied. My favorite wine was the Riesling. The Naked is a nice summer drinking wine as well. Overall, the winery is small and cozy. It is a more casual winery (which I enjoyed). The owners and most employees are very friendly. They had a nice lawn area to enjoy live music. They also sold snacks (cheese, crackers...) and sodas. We decided to get a bottle (chilled Naked) to enjoy with some cheese while we listened to the music. We loved that they had Gouda. There were also free soft pretzels at the event which was nice. Congratulations Rich and Dana on your one-year anniversary. Had the opportunity to sample the wines at Weathered Vineyards late summer and was incredibly pleased. The vineyard's grapes are young--just a few years old--and Weathered currently sources the majority of their grapes from the neighboring Hackett Vineyards. I was lucky to get a tour of the facility from both. The Marechal Foch was a particular hit, a relatively unheard of red wine robust enough for the unpredictable Pennsylvanian climate. Other regional staples--Riesling, Traminette, Chambourcin, and Cabernet Franc--were featured on their list. The wines were produced to be "everyday drinkable," and Weathered produced them well. Several of the tasting pours were served with various cheeses to see how the flavors interacted with food. We took several bottles home with us on our visit. While we are not often in the Lehigh Valley, this vineyard certainly earned a return visit. read more

I'll start by saying that it has been the same staff since they opened almost 10 years ago, which is a testament to the fantastic atmosphere they create and how incredible of an employer they are. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly, easy-going, hospitable, and knowledgable. One of the best small businesses I have ever had the pleasure of supporting. I will tell everyone visiting the area to be sure to stop here (I'm from down south so I hope to send some snowbirds their way!) The wines were incredible, the space was lovely and the views were beautiful. The conversations we had with Richard (the owner) and John were laid back and personable. Beyond excellent guest service, and I work in guest service at the two largest and most well-known theme park & resort destinations in the country so my service expectations are usually a bit high. Such an absolute pleasure to go to this winery! Something incredible I need to mention is that their grapes are picked by volunteers, another testament to how welcoming this establishment is. It feels like a little community! I hope this winery and it's crew see all the great success they deserve. read more

Wonderful first visit! For once, a detour paid off....had to take 309 & 100 to Philly due to Turnpike closure and saw the sign. Made it a point to stop in on our way back to NEPA. We arrived shortly before closing but were welcomed in and treated warmly and friendly. Wines were respectable but the '17 Cab Franc was kickass! Brought a bottle home and enjoying it now. Great stop with a wonderful host and can't wait to return! read more

Great experience! Willing to talk about their production and how they do things. A Friendly family run Winery with neat dogs. Their wines are excellent especially since I like dry wines. My new, favorite, local Lehigh Valley vineyard! Charming and quaint tasting room where the owners, Rich and Dana, personally pour your samples with great detail given about each variety of wine. Rich is very knowledgeable and passionate about wine making, and it shows in his delicious wines. The vineyard in poised atop the rolling hills of Northwestern Lehigh county, and the 360 degree views are breathtaking. I am looking forward to watching this vineyard grow and mature. read more

Dana and Rich are one of our new neighbors here on Carpet Road. Each time I visit they are always warm and welcoming. My favorite right now is the Chardonnay...absolutely delicious!
