    Catnip wine
    Amy M.

Stopped in after receiving a haircut next door at Truth Beauty Salon. The lady welcomed me right away and asked if I needed any help or was looking for anything in particular. I told her I had planned on just buying a bottle of red wine since I was in the area. She asked if it was my first visit, which it was. She suggested I try a tasting since the fee ($5 for 6 samples) is waived with any wine purchase. She ushered me to a stool and was helpful and friendly throughout the whole tasting. The owner, Mark, was also hospitable and very informative. I ended up buying 3 bottles of wine and a catnip wine by the register for my friend's cat. The wine was good and if I had eaten more of a lunch I would've tried their specialty cocktail. They said every week they pair up with a local distillery and serve a different specialty drink. This week was a fruity red sangria and apple pie moonshine from Gallows Hills Spirits. It's a relaxed atmosphere, there's even a TV behind the counter. Overall a cute spot with good wine, I just wish they had crackers or something for a palate cleanser in between wines. I'd definitely be interest in going back to try the specialty cocktails or for a paint night.

I wanted to like this winery so much but was truly disappointed. To give them some credit, the staff were very friendly, funny and welcoming and the store was very clean. We sat down for a tasting and a lot of the wines were out of stock, ok, that happens but quite a few on the list. I bought 3 bottles of Smokeys Midnight Treat and didn't see it until I was home that there was nasty black sediment in the bottom of the bottle. The wine didn't taste like the one I tasted in the store. Since I don't live near the store to return them I dumped them down the drain. I won't be returning here again.

Puuurrrrfect!! :-) So, where can I start? My husband and I went to an event / overnight trip to the Allentown area and I was searching for wine spots and came across this one! I love cats (my nickname is "Kat", so.. hehe) and the atmosphere is so cozy and cute and there were lots of paintings and photos that mixed the cat and wine themes together. The staff was SO SO SO friendly and the wines were amazing!!! What I really liked were that my hubby and I have different tastes in wine (he likes sweet and I like dry) and they had such a great variety that there was something for each of us! They even WAIVE your tasting price if you get a bottle and the average bottle is only $12/$13.. so you can get a tasting of 6 wines and a bottle for $12! Seriously amazing!!! Next time we are in the area, we are absolutely going back!!

My tasting of the peach wine, one of the bottles we ended up buying.

My husband and I stopped in here tonight and loved it! The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We really enjoyed the wines we tasted. It was great to have the owner/wine maker there to share information and stories about the wine. We both got a glass of the sangria after our tasting which was delicious. We bought two bottles of wine to take home. We will definitely be back!

The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous, the barn is re done so tastefully and skillfully and decorated with a designers flare! The grounds are beautifully kept and the animals are well cared for and friendly. The whole atmosphere made us feel like we were at a friends home for a relaxing weekend. There were little touches everywhere. Cute outdoor sets of furniture, a cozy couch, a fun trailer bed that we were told doubles as a stage sometimes for musicians. There was a cool climbing tree with kids in the branches. There were friendly goats that came up to you just for pets, and chickens and even cows in the back field. We met the owners who were so kind and welcoming. Our bartender was Shirley and she was such a doll and told us all about the place and the wines and meads they make. We got a tasting and all shared it to decide what to get for ourselves. The wine and mead that we tried was all VERY GOOD! We brought home a few bottles of the mead to make summertime cocktails with. The lavender lemon was superb! We got a bottle of white wine to share and enjoyed it very much. They offer food as well and although we did not try any, everything we saw others eating looked amazing. You can bring your own food as well. Definitely a great spot for all the young families we saw there enjoying a relaxing day while the kids had some wholesome farm fun. Like I said in the beginning we can't wait to return to Wind Hill Farms.

What a charming little winery tucked away in Coopersburg, but be careful not to miss it, signage…read moreneeds improvement. They are dog friendly to well behaved pups, and have goats and chickens on the grounds. They have a small but interesting selection of wines, including Meads available for tasting, by the glass or bottle. They also have a selection of local beer by the can and non-alcoholic drinks available. Tastings were $15 for five generous pours. Shirley was fabulous and informative, and like visiting and old friend. Snacks available on site. Indoor/outdoor seating. Currently grapes are coming in from California except for the Malbec which are imported, until their young vines start producing. Would definitely return for a future visit.
