A delightful, lively winery with pleasant surrounding vineyards, live music and plenty of seating spaces to choose from - upstairs and downstairs tasting rooms, and outdoor, tent dining. Very family friendly. Great location and atmosphere. Friendly staff. The boards are tasty, as is the Buffalo Chicken Dip. The kids wolfed down a couple of hotdogs each, and there are good truck options as well. The wines range are generally , with the No. 41 and Chambourcin my favorite and the Traminette serving as my wife's favorite. All the samples are good sized. A great stop along the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail or if checking out the Kutztown area wineries.

12/21/2019- Six tastings of their award winning wine for only $5. I'm in! I tried the Traminette 2016, Vynecrest White, Spiced Winter White, Pinot Noir Rose, Chambourcin 2017 and the Vynecrest Red. My favorites were the Vynecrest White a semi-sweet wine with an apricot and green apples aroma AND the Spiced Winter Wine. This wine really captured the holidays in a bottle. It has aromas of cinnamon and vanilla. This wine was served warm. I've never had a warm wine. It was wonderful. We ended up buying and shipping 4 bottles home. They were extremely helpful with it. There was a downstairs part and we totally missed it. We saw it as we were driving out. Until next time....we will be back!

EXCEPTIONAL ~ GORGEOUS ~~ FRIENDLY :: First time here, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The estate is glamorous and inviting! How they display their wine and the numerous awards they have received is impressive and wonderfully styled!! Bought several bottles and will definitely return for more!! Cheers

We stumbled upon Vynecrest on a Sunday drive and I'm so happy we stopped by. The staff were very friendly, we did some wine tasting, and then joined everyone downstairs with our wine slushees... I put a mix of both cause they are both so good! The musicians were a nice add on to the atmosphere. We've since come a few times for those delicious slushies, yessss! You can also purchase cheese and snacks. Having a different food truck each Sunday is great, . I love all the work you are putting into this full on "winery experience." We took a bottle of summer sangria, and the devyne concord mmmm, don't judge me, I love the sweet wines!!

Four of us came out to the Vynecrest Winery which was about an hour out of our way. After today even though it was 100% cloudy, it was worth the trip and highly recommend it. You have to call to make reservations before you decide to come here at least during this covid time. We had a time slot from 12:30-2:00pm and we stayed til about 2:30pm because we lost track of time, no one really came up to us to say you have to leave. We even brought a puppy ! Anyway, when you get there you have to check in at the red tent by the 'red barn.' You can go into the red barn for your drinks and charcuterie dishes or the dishes listed on their paper menu. There is also some catering called Roasted that is there with hot food like hot dogs if you want that. They were stationed next to the live music which were two guys playing guitars and singing. Overall I liked the atmosphere and it wasn't loud it was nice. We ordered 2 charcuterie plates with salami, cheddar cheese, smoked Gouda cheese, bacon ranch cheese, crackers, pumpkin seeds, raisins, honey mustard and horse-radish whipped cheese. All of it was delicious to have with the wine. We all ordered wine flights (we didn't get to try the slushees but next time!) and I highly recommend trying: Autumn Gold (I bought a bottle of this before I left), Vynecrest Red and trying the Blueberry wine which is very sweet but smooth. All of the wines I suggested are smooth and not dry. Also, if you like Reisling I can definitely say it tasted better than other Reislings I've had, but maybe that's just me. Once you get your drinks and food inside (or outside if you want to get the hot food) there's a bunch of seating everywhere and you can pick any table to sit at. If you are looking to go to a vineyard and have some wine & snacks I suggest this place. Super friendly staff and atmosphere. Wine flights were about $12 each.

I'm a winery fanatic, let me start with that. When I form opinions on wineries I consider the actual wine but also the environment and ambience. Vynecrest's wine is pretty good for a local PA wine and definitely affordable. The winery location itself is fairly large. Lots of vineyards and indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors, the first floor has a bar tasting area and then a storefront with wine-related and home goods items. Down in the basement is another tasting bar and also a service bar where you can order wine and cocktails by the glass along with food items. I got a cheese plate. While I did get a TON of cheese for the price, the cheese was pretty basic, like, run of the mill grocery store fridge cheese. None the less my experience was very nice and I would come back. I got a few glasses of wine and also a sangria wine slushy which was yummy.

Number 4 Follow the grapes on the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail! Party of three's Pennsylvania's wine tour continues. Complimentary tastings for six. Goblets are available for purchase at $3.00 each. Tours are available by appointment only, call ahead. I personally like Lemberger 2013 (dry red) that is full-bodied and bold flavor, Summertime Red (sweet red) of a fruity Sangria style, and Niagra (sweet white) from a Native American grape with a fruity scent. I also enjoyed their Cherry DiVyne (specialty sweet red) comprising from Montmorency sour cherries which pairs well with brownies or chocolate. Staff is attentive to our party of three. Vynecrest Winery is a family own 25 acre vineyard and tasting room is a Swiss ban barn. The view is scenic.

Visited on a Sunday. Gorgeous grounds! I am sure covid has changed things because they don't have typical tasting I am used to when going to a winery. They had the option of four samples = 2 glasses of wine. We tried that. I didn't like that they don't give you a paper of all the wines so you can remember the details. They labeled each cup with a abbreviations when pouring. At the end we brought a cup in that we wanted to buy a bottle of and we showed the women behind the bar and she said the cup confused her but we didn't know the names of the wines since they don't give you a list. We ordered the cheese board and it was really tasty and a great value! They had a lot of nice options for food as well. The tent had fires and propane heaters going and live music! Reservations are required to get a spot under the tent and they give you a length of time you can max stay for! I can imagine this place is gorgeous on a nice summer day!

Amanda, who guided my tasting, was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable as she poured my selections and chatted about the different profiles. In general, the wines are lighter as compared to California wines. I didn't have any wine that I didn't like here. The tasting was $15 and bottles varied from $18 on up. Definitely moderate prices. The day was cloudy and cold, so I didn't explore the outdoor area, but it looked like a pleasant space for warmer weather. I visited only the tasting room and did not check out the restaurant. I took home a couple of bottles, including one of their sangria-style wines that caught my curiosity. I'm looking forward to pairing it at home and sharing it with guests. Folino is a nice stop if you're exploring the Jim Thorpe area in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Thank you for your friendly hospitality!

Elite-worthy impromptu date night…read more Folino Estate Winery absolutely delivered from start to finish. We jumped into a blind wine tasting featuring six wines--three whites and three reds--complete with a fun guessing sheet that made the experience interactive and playful. Kenzie was a standout host: knowledgeable without being stuffy, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the winery. She shared great insight into the wines and Folino's story while keeping the tasting relaxed and fun. Huge thanks to her for setting the tone for the night. We stayed for dinner afterward and the food was excellent. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Pair that with the stunning scenery and it made for an ideal date-night atmosphere. Shoutout to our waitress Morgan A, who was attentive, friendly, and handled everything with ease and always with a smile. Thoughtful experiences, great service, and a gorgeous setting, this is exactly why Folino Estate earns its Elite stamp. Already looking forward to our next visit .

Offering a very relaxed environment, on a lovely property, with very good wines and great service…read more Family-friendly, with plenty of space to find your niche and settle in for a while. Currently, they offer 6 pre-arranged tastings of 4 wines, including flights built around their crisp whites, their reds, their Burgundy grapes, their Bordeaux grapes, their sweet offerings, and with chocolate pairings. You can also built your own flight of 4 wines for a few dollars more. The standouts for me were the Pinot Noirs - I'd advise trying glasses from both vineyards if you can, as they're quite unique from one another. We also really enjoyed their Riesling and Pinot Gris - nice and crisp, just enough bite to tantalize the tongue without overpowering your taste buds. In all, Setter offers more than 20 wines that can fit most guests tastes. The bottles all provide very solid value for their price points and are worth bringing home. I like the versatility of their wine lineup - you can find some great choices ranging from sparkling wines you'd enjoy during a cocktail hour, to white and red offerings that pair nicely with seafood and red meats respectively. If you're looking for something a little different, they serve Sangria, as well as Mimosas on Sunday - these choices are also delicious.

We ordered a selection of wines for tasting with maccarons while our doggo enjoyed company of a few other energetic pups in the dog park. Really liked the wines (dry,semi-sweet,sweet-they have it all) and even got a discount for maccarons that were their last ones in stock and a tad crumbled. Thumbs up!
