Love this place! Great atmosphere and wonderful owners! The wines are phenomenal! The decor is something out of a movie. Very fun and peaceful

This place is rad. I've always wanted to go here as long as I've known of its existence and I finally made that happen. I love it because it is hippie themed. The entire place is covered in 60s themed memorabilia and art. The wines have creative, funny names and hopefully taste good. The reason I say hopefully is because we actually didn't drink the wine we purchased yet. We had our kids with and couldn't do a tasting (which is free). I have high hopes for the taste though. There is an outside area to hang. The entire place is tucked into the woods. There is a disc golf course which I hope to try one day as well. I just loved this atmosphere. It was pretty busy when we were there even though it's located off the beaten path. Peace, love & wine.

Beautiful build. Great rock and roll stuff to look at. Fun place to hang out. Unfortunately the wine itself is honestly not that good. Love the vibe, but it is a winery and the wine just isn't good. Had the German helmet and couldn't even drink the glass.

This is such a fun winery to go to. You won't find a lot of wine snobs here and everybody is just so laid-back. The theme of this winery is about being a hippie and about love and peace. While I'm far from being a liberal, this place is still really cool to go to. The scenery outside is breathtaking and they have so many places to sit to drink your wine. Not to mention the wine is really tasty and they have a wide variety of flavors. They also have a place to go to disc golfing as well, if that's something you're into. I honestly can't wait to go back and explore more wine flavors. I also want to mention that the tasting for wine is completely free and you can taste as many wines as you want to! It doesn't get much better than that! If you are a wine lover like I am, then this place is a must see!

Sample and buy a bottle. You can also open the bottle and enjoy it on their deck. Didn't try the disk golf but it seems to be a great course.

What's great about this place is that the tastings of the wine are free and they are all really unique tasting. The location is beautiful and then have a beautiful lake (that we didn't get a chance to explore) and disc golf, which we didn't get a change to play (yet). After a few samples we walked out with 3 bottles, 2 for ourselves and one as a gift.

    Peace

Fun, groovy, fabulous digs from the minute you trot down the un-uniform stairway and through the peace sign doorway. Colorful pop culture decor with vibes from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Ladies behind the bar were cheerful and having a good time. They could have used a third person with the crowd that quickly filled the tasting bar. Amazing the detail, time and attention put into the ambiance but unfortunately we were not impressed with the wines. So many to choose and taste yet none seemed perfected. Just not our type of wines. Very affordable. Tasting included if wine is purchased.

A part of me is starting to think that everyone needs to experience this bathroom, just once.

Stopped by again for a second look. Still under-impressed. The wines needs help and the staff, although busy and helpful, were over worked.

Not yet on…read moreYelp to find the winery, we followed the signs, and arrived at a gorgeous stone mansion, with a side barn wine tasting room. Ample parking, there is a short walk to the tasting room, where you can see the construction among the vineyard, as they expand their location. Despite the construction-there is a nice patio area, attached to a simple-yet pretty-tasting bar. We learned the pourers are wine consultants from Mendoza, Argentina, brought over by the winery owner to help develop a variety of wines. It really is a gem. I'm so happy the consultants were ok giving up their summers at home to develop quality wine in the middle of nowhere PA. $5 for 6 wines, we selected from 7 whites, 3 sweets, 7 reds. We shared: Albarino: 'tart' needed to be chilled more Cab Franc: pepper on the finish, lighter on the in-take Chambourcin: sweeter than normal Merlot: bold for a merlot Petit Verdot: too light Flagship Red: pepper from the Cab Franc, bold from the Merlot, a twist probably from the Malbec, but light tannin finish from the Petit Verdot From talking through the wines, we learned the Chardonnay was the favorite of our pourer, so he let us add it on-glad we did, we went home with a bottle: smooth, buttery, with a slight oak twinge. Great place to sit out and have a quality glass of wine, though probably better to just take home the bottle due to the construction views, but definitely worth supporting the winery either way! The owner really owes it to his consulting staff, they make the winery the wonderful experience that it is.

The wines are not your average PA wines, however they all were unique and very kind to the pallet. If you love wine, this place is a must stop. The wine maker has a very high level of experience from Mendoza, Argentina. He (nacho) is well versed in wine and has quite a resume. Make sure to check it out! I wish I had more photographs to share. Pictured is the wine maker, also met the owner, very nice guy.

Well, I just love this place and if you're looking for somewhere to get a drink and soak in the gorgeous Delaware water gap area look no further! First of all the beer here was really darn good, a cut above most places! But on top of that, if you'd rather have wine, well help yourself! They also do wine flights here! Both a beer and wine were terrific and above average! But the location and the views give it an extra star and bring it to five stars! The experience is not to be missed and exactly what I was looking for after a hard day of hiking and sightseeing in the Delaware water camp. On top of that, they got some really nice food. If you're hungry, their pizza is great! Great bar pies to hit the spot! You could sit inside or outside. If you want to sit inside, I highly recommend making a reservation even for the middle of the afternoon! That's right even for the middle of the afternoon! However, even though the inside was full, we sat out back on the patio and had a blast! However, if you want to eat a meal here, you'll need to get a reservation inside. It feels like you're visiting the home of an old friend. We particularly enjoy the dry red wines and the sweet wines that Ridgewood offers. For the reds, the Merlot and Cab Franc were noteworthy for their balance and nice finishes. The Merlot was silky, oaky and smooth approach. The Cab Franc is a bit spicier, bolder and robust - wine to pair with a nice, hearty meat dish. On the sweet side of things, the Diamond is a subtle, light choice for those who are prone to be turned-off by heavier, acidic reds. The Peach Splendor is a pleasant surprise with a fresh, light, fruit-forward feel. Pair this with some chocolate squares if you're enjoying it after a meal. The Olde Orchard has a great "fall season" feel, complete with elements of apple pie, a hint of tartness and a blend of sweet. Finally, the Underground is a rising star that everyone seems to be discovering lately. It's a Merlot family member that gains a unique, but delicious flavor thanks to be un-oaked. Elements of blackberry and rose petals, with a semi-sweet finish and a nice, fuller body. This one has a little bit of everything and is probably the most intriguing option on the menu. Very clean. Very smooth. Be sure to give it a shot.
