    Sooo much unexpected fun!!

Stopped in during travels through the area. Looked for a place to picnic our lunch and found this amazing family vineyard. Fun mimosa, entertaining flight pairings. With gourmet popcorn!! Definitely recommend!

Offering a very relaxed environment, on a lovely property, with very good wines and great service. Family-friendly, with plenty of space to find your niche and settle in for a while. Currently, they offer 6 pre-arranged tastings of 4 wines, including flights built around their crisp whites, their reds, their Burgundy grapes, their Bordeaux grapes, their sweet offerings, and with chocolate pairings. You can also built your own flight of 4 wines for a few dollars more. The standouts for me were the Pinot Noirs - I'd advise trying glasses from both vineyards if you can, as they're quite unique from one another. We also really enjoyed their Riesling and Pinot Gris - nice and crisp, just enough bite to tantalize the tongue without overpowering your taste buds. In all, Setter offers more than 20 wines that can fit most guests tastes. The bottles all provide very solid value for their price points and are worth bringing home. I like the versatility of their wine lineup - you can find some great choices ranging from sparkling wines you'd enjoy during a cocktail hour, to white and red offerings that pair nicely with seafood and red meats respectively. If you're looking for something a little different, they serve Sangria, as well as Mimosas on Sunday - these choices are also delicious.

A scrumptious pumpkin roll was offered to go with a beautiful Fall weekend.

Setter Ridge has one of the nicest views at a winery in the Berks and Lehigh counties. They always have some interesting snacks available and the tasting room servers are upbeat and knowledgeable providing for an engaging experience. We enjoy their whites. One suggestion is that food trucks should be positioned so that their generator is away from the building. It can distract from enjoying a beautiful open space along with the ability to hear the music from local bands. Overall a great place and will certainly be back frequently

061718 As the Designated Driver, I can only report by observation, eavesdropping and credit card receipts. The winery was very beautiful, very festive and romantic. My wife thoroughly enjoyed.... something in a yellowish bottle. Live music was sung by a trio. And the lady of the trio was very beautiful. Anyway, the lady at the wine tasting was very knowledgeable, engaging and nice to talk too. There was a funny dog named Guinness making rounds doing meet & greets. Not sure if he's on staff. But he did appear to be a regular there. Fun place, fun times. We'll be back

Saturday July 8, 2017 ... 6 of our Bad Moms Club (lol) attended the Cupcake & Wine Pairing for $12.50 ... 3 but size cupcakes were amazing paired with 3 wines ... then switch from 2 wines for a 4th tasting. I think it is a touch over priced, as I believe maybe 1 once or less was provided for each wine. As expected from their website, they truly do specialize in Dry Wines ... their semi dry was still very dry. If you love dry wines - you will love their selection. I personally like semi dry ... very much in the middle of the two extremes. I did buy 2 bottles, however I will need to pair them with a meal when I have friends over. I believe they are a high quality vineyard. The staff was great ... we were running right up to tasting time, I called to let them know and they were very accommodating. We then followed up with a tasting for $5 ... they have a large selection of very dry wines. We packed a beautiful picnic lunch to enjoy with our purchased wine ... the view is beautiful and clean. Minus the dog poop from the very friendly black lab. The pavilion space with the high tables was perfect for our Bad Moms afternoon. Semi Dry & Sweet wine lovers ... this might not have the best selection for you (as not perfect for me) however, trying something new or Dry Wine lovers - you will not be di

stopped in here in the way to the yuengling factory. Really glad I did because the Wine was excellent. tried 6 different wines and each one was better than the one before. My personal favorites 2010 pinot gris reserve along with 2008 Reserve. the hostess(forget her name :/ ) was very kind and welcoming being that we were the first customers and all. she also invited us back with our son and beagles lol... Don't know of any other winery's that welcome kids and dogs... Pretty Sweet. gonna stop back in the spring.

When it came time for my Wedding, I honestly couldn't wait for it to be over, and it shouldn't be that way We were getting yelled at left and right. And what we thought was acceptable, still wasn't. Even got a comment after cleaning up the ENTIRE BARN after the wedding. "Oh wow you cleaned up, but you really shouldn't have" and I bet if we wouldn't have, we would've gotten yelled at. Damned if you do damned if you don't is the vibe I got. I found out a week prior to my wedding that the weekend was double booked and we did not have the venue to ourselves (Wednesday-Sunday) As we thought. The way the contract was worded we should have had the venue all day Sunday to clean up until 11:59pm since their was no specific time listed. If that is the case a new contract should be made up for future clients stating they are okay with sharing the venue 2 days out of the week, because their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner was on Thursday when we were supposed to set up... Do yourselves a favor and don't settle... Find a barn worth having a wedding in... I wish I would've done more research and picked another venue. Maybe I would've enjoyed my wedding day... The Glassburn Inn, located in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania, is a beautiful historic hotel, and you can truly feel its charm and character the moment you arrive. When we first pulled in, there was no snow, and the entrance looked absolutely picturesque and welcoming. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The next morning was pure magic -- we woke up to freshly fallen snow and the most gorgeous winter view from our room. It honestly felt like something out of a postcard. The combination of the historic charm and the snowy landscape made it even more special. Our stay included a continental breakfast, but don't let that description fool you -- this was anything but ordinary. They offered made-to-order omelettes, eggs cooked any style you like, crispy bacon, home fries... it was a full, hot, delicious breakfast and such a treat! The birthday party was held in another building on the property called The Dairy, and it is absolutely beautiful. The Dairy can accommodate up to six guest rooms and features a large living area, a spacious dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, along with an outdoor deck. It's perfect for gatherings and special celebrations -- private, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. With all the snow, my car just wasn't cooperating. Although the grounds were well plowed, I couldn't make it up the hill. Once again, the staff went above and beyond -- they graciously drove us up to The Dairy so we wouldn't miss a thing. That level of service really stood out. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxing getaway at a beautiful historic inn with outstanding staff, the Glassburn Inn in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania is absolutely the place to stay. Unfortunately, for a special anniversary stay separate from any party, it was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped to have. The property is indeed beautiful. We walked around a bit hoping to enjoy the "trails" on their property map, but they weren't well marked. When we thought we were on a trail, it would abruptly end in lawn. The staff is friendly, but seemed a little disorganized. We called to confirm our reservation earlier that day and they couldn't find it, so we made another one for a more expensive room since our original choice wasn't available. But when we checked in they gave us our original, smaller room under a reservation that was still there. To their credit, they did fix it so we were not charged for two reservations, and we chose the larger room after all. Our room was in the Pack House. It was airy with a high ceiling and comfortable bed, a mini fridge, and a balcony shared with the room next door. The DirectTV and A/C wall unit were a little clunky to operate, but workable. The main issue for us was the noise because there was a party room downstairs. There are quiet hours posted from 11 pm to 7 am - and not long after 7 am (on a Saturday morning!) there was loud music that ruined our morning. My guess is it was early morning wedding prep, and it was technically not breaking quiet hours, but unwelcome for us "outsiders" nonetheless. On the brighter side, breakfast was included in our rate and was very good. In addition to light fare of pastries, fruit, and yogurt in a small buffet, we got to pick an entree from a large menu of options. Our entrees were simple, but good. Check out was easy and I was asked if I wanted a printout or email. I requested email, and over 24 hours later I still haven't received it. This is a pretty good reflection of our experience: promises that were not quite delivered, leaving us mostly disappointed, especially for the cost. If you are not part of a wedding or event, I would not stay here unless you are okay with disruptions.

I knew it might be pricey so I sent them an e-mail asking for more information on pricing and specifically said that we would like the information since we didn't think we could afford the place. Cathy, the manager, e-mailed me back with this exact sentence "Please send me a few dates and times this month that you might be available for a site visit and we are happy to take the time to customize a quote for you to fit your style and budget!" So I thought okay maybe they can work with us. Boy was I wrong. We went there this past Saturday. Cathy informed us that she had 10 appointments scheduled for the day and that she was just finishing up with the previous appointment, but invited us to give ourselves a self-guided tour. Once we were done showing ourselves around the place and she finished up with the previous client, she decided it was appropriate to talk to us for 5 minutes about how bad she had to go to the bathroom and that she would be right back, but that we could go sit down at the table. Once we sit down and she comes back from the bathroom, she looks at me and says "Kevin?" My fiance's name is Tim and my name is Kerri so I corrected her and told her my name was Kerri. This annoyed me to start because it's not like I spoke with the woman on the phone and she wrote it down. She literally had to stare at my name in multiple e-mails. Next up was her asking us questions. How to spell my name, what my fiance's name was etc. The last question was what is your budget. I told her our total budget is $10,000 (mind you we have room to move our budget up but this is basically what our parents are throwing in). Let me tell you this woman basically laughed us out of the room by telling us that we should look into a fire hall or something less classy because they are too expensive for us. Also about how it is under new management since we went to a wedding there and that it used to be more mom and pop shop and she thinks she brings more elegance to the place. I sat through maybe 5-10 minutes of this woman talking down to me until finally when she said "maybe you could do your bridal shower here". It ended up taking longer for us to drive to the place than for us to sit down with someone who didn't even entertain the idea of working with us. So to summarize it all, Cathy is unprofessional and rude and didn't even give us the time of day (I had some other choice words, but decided against them). All of this could have been handled in an email telling us that their bar service alone is about $25-30 per person and the catering is about $100 per person. Instead we drove an hour to be belittled and talked down to.
