Offering a very relaxed environment, on a lovely property, with very good wines and great service…read more Family-friendly, with plenty of space to find your niche and settle in for a while. Currently, they offer 6 pre-arranged tastings of 4 wines, including flights built around their crisp whites, their reds, their Burgundy grapes, their Bordeaux grapes, their sweet offerings, and with chocolate pairings. You can also built your own flight of 4 wines for a few dollars more. The standouts for me were the Pinot Noirs - I'd advise trying glasses from both vineyards if you can, as they're quite unique from one another. We also really enjoyed their Riesling and Pinot Gris - nice and crisp, just enough bite to tantalize the tongue without overpowering your taste buds. In all, Setter offers more than 20 wines that can fit most guests tastes. The bottles all provide very solid value for their price points and are worth bringing home. I like the versatility of their wine lineup - you can find some great choices ranging from sparkling wines you'd enjoy during a cocktail hour, to white and red offerings that pair nicely with seafood and red meats respectively. If you're looking for something a little different, they serve Sangria, as well as Mimosas on Sunday - these choices are also delicious.

The winery is huge and tucked far enough from the main roads. They have a selection of wines for tastings (also an option to order maccarons on a side,to pair with!),stage for live bands and - get this - even their own little fended dog park. We ordered a selection of wines for tasting with maccarons while our doggo enjoyed company of a few other energetic pups in the dog park. Really liked the wines (dry,semi-sweet,sweet-they have it all) and even got a discount for maccarons that were their last ones in stock and a tad crumbled. Thumbs up!

If you're ever in the area I would definitely suggest going to this winery. It is located on top of a mountain and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I came during the winter and it still looks stunning. I can only imagine how it would be in the summertime. I've been to Napa valley and I would say this rivals the beauty of some of the wineries in Napa. Save your flight money and just come to Pennsylvania to this winery. My wife and I had a tasting and some wines. I liked better than others but that's usually how it is at every winery. I really enjoyed two out of the five wines that I tasted so I bought a bottle of the wine that I loved and I ordered a glass of the wine that I liked. The woman who poured my wine was very knowledgeable and seemed to be really into the wine. She also mentioned that she was a cousin to the owner so it really gave me family vibes in this establishment. They also had a separate cheese company putting together cheese plates. So we definitely ordered that as well. This winery has a couple of goods for sale, potatoes, t-shirts, and tchotchkes. I definitely bought a bag of potatoes that is grown on the farm and they were delicious. Inside the winery there was a very cool vibe with a lot of people having tastings. Everybody was in good spirits. Did I mention that the views are spectacular while you're drinking. We couldn't drink outside because it was so cold but I would definitely love to come during the nicer months weather wise. I have zero complaints with this winery and I cannot wait to come back.

Amanda, who guided my tasting, was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable as she poured my selections and chatted about the different profiles. In general, the wines are lighter as compared to California wines. I didn't have any wine that I didn't like here. The tasting was $15 and bottles varied from $18 on up. Definitely moderate prices. The day was cloudy and cold, so I didn't explore the outdoor area, but it looked like a pleasant space for warmer weather. I visited only the tasting room and did not check out the restaurant. I took home a couple of bottles, including one of their sangria-style wines that caught my curiosity. I'm looking forward to pairing it at home and sharing it with guests. Folino is a nice stop if you're exploring the Jim Thorpe area in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Thank you for your friendly hospitality!

Elite-worthy impromptu date night…read more Folino Estate Winery absolutely delivered from start to finish. We jumped into a blind wine tasting featuring six wines--three whites and three reds--complete with a fun guessing sheet that made the experience interactive and playful. Kenzie was a standout host: knowledgeable without being stuffy, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the winery. She shared great insight into the wines and Folino's story while keeping the tasting relaxed and fun. Huge thanks to her for setting the tone for the night. We stayed for dinner afterward and the food was excellent. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Pair that with the stunning scenery and it made for an ideal date-night atmosphere. Shoutout to our waitress Morgan A, who was attentive, friendly, and handled everything with ease and always with a smile. Thoughtful experiences, great service, and a gorgeous setting, this is exactly why Folino Estate earns its Elite stamp. Already looking forward to our next visit .

(We were there on cornhole tournament day, which was hilarious because it was a bunch of beer drinking men competing for free bottles of wine.) Their tastings are $5 for any number of wines, with the fee waived if you buy a bottle. (which at their prices, you might as well) They have a large selection of dry whites, reds, and sweet varietals, however their tasting menu was not separated into any actual wine varietal order besides white and red. This was annoying because the pourer wanted to 'go down the list', while we tried to go in typical pallete order. They seemed to focus on sweeter wines, with even the typical dry red varietals having a sweeter finish. We really didn't connect with any of the wines, but ended up purchasing a bottle of red to cook with (because it was practical with the waiving the tasting fee). The pourers are younger helpers, who didn't really know about the wine to provide any information minus the name, but it didn't seem like the atmosphere where you'd get a wine lesson, history of their winery, or info on their choices. Though I did try asking. Overall, it seems like a fun spot if you're a local going to hang out with friends drinking sangria slushies, but as a wine lover it'd pass. I only rate two stars because they were nice people.
