Grilled lemongrass chicken pho
Bill D.

Went in today for to-go lunch. While we were waiting chatted with Q the owner whom we had briefly met last spring during one of her Eatavision "dinner 'in' a movie experiences". She's such a great person and host! My wife got the grilled lemongrass chicken pho (I believe that's what it was - I walked in after she ordered so I didn't hear the name, but I attached the photo)...anyway it was delicious. The chicken was tender and plentiful, and the noodles I believe are some kind of Japanese rice noodles(?), chives, cilantro and a bunch of wonderful flavor. Very fresh and very good for a cold rainy day. Prices are very reasonable and you get a large quantity of "bang for your buck"! Location is great and there is ample (but tight) parking all around in the "village". Highly recommend and will return, probably once a week if my wife has anything to say about it! For those of you curious about my earlier "Eatavision" comment, here's a link to this awesome experience which features Q the owner and usually other East Atlanta Village business owners and residents putting on this very cool experience; lots of fun for the family: https://eatavision.com

We Suki Suki, a global grub collective, is exactly what it states, being a building that houses several restaurants depending on what time of day you go. The last restaurant I caught here was Lifting noodles ramen, so I was excited to try We Suki Suki again. I got my order to go and bought the following: Crispy fried Brussel sprouts Original "Classic" ramen What did I think about these? Well let's talk about the food! Starting with their crispy fried Brussel sprouts, the flavor here was really good, nicely seasoned and sprinkled with sesame seeds but also very greasy! So greasy in fact that I was unable to finish them. I don't know if this was due to it being a to go order or not, but the grease was a real factor for me. The Original classic ramen was up next! Here's the thing with this ramen...I asked to remove all seaweed from the ramen because I'm allergic to it, and sadly there was seaweed included. I tried to pick as much of it as I could out, but it really became too much of a hassle and this was yet another dish that I just didn't finish. Located off of Flat Shoals Ave, there's street parking all up and down this road and several lots around. On weekends I wont lie, it can be a challenge to find parking. Even during covid times people were still here and parking was scarce...but it can be tough...not impossible. I can't speak to customer service because dining in wasn't an option at the time. I was excited to give these guys another try, and I'd go back again. For now with this order and this experience, I've had better. When I next pay them a visit, and I will, I hope to increase my score!

Grilled Asian Eggplant
Jacklyn K.

Sooo much yum! Nice little take out window and some of the bombest vegetarian "banh mi" we've had. Grilled Asian eggplant was marinated to perfection and delicious salty goodness. Great bread, super fresh veggies, lovely spice with the jalapeño and sriracha. Flavors balanced perfectly. $8 for lunch- well worth it. Would definitely stop in for another!

Lemongrass Chicken Pho!
Cameron N.

This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta to get pho. I live 5 minutes away, but almost never get to come here because the hours are sooo limited! So far I've had the lemongrass chicken pho 5 times and it SLAPS. I need to try one of the other flavors but this one is so good and flavorful, I just can't let go! The owner brings personally it out to you. She has such a sweet spirit and you can tell she cooks with love and enjoys seeing people enjoy her food. The first time I ever ate here, she talked to me about how much care she takes in preparing her broth and all the spices and the tedious process, which I appreciated. I jazz mine up with lime and sriracha and what I call brown sauce. I literally CRAVE this place when I am sick! So so so good!

A spicy pork ramen and tuna wonton nachos in the back

Would definitely come again! The ramen was great and so were the nachos! Food came out very fast and great service.

This place was a no-frills bao bun cafe. All three buns had excellent flavor and seasoning, great portions, and super filling for lunch. Sharing a pickup space with three other spots, it was a little confusing but a great concept.

Seasoned fries. Lobster salad boa. Fried green tomato boa.

This is a food collaborative. There are several street food like stations within the place. You walk in, the aromas of several authentic ethnic foods hits you in the face. This place has a very busy and street food-esque vibe. May not be great for super large groups during the lunch rush, only due to seating. I'd say bring your large group.. just eat the food elsewhere. This review is strictly for Mushi Ni. My friend and I decided to try Bao for the first time. Actually, the very kind lady at the register helped us decide because we were clearly confused. We each ordered the bao combo. 2 bao,a side and a drink for like $10. I don't eat land animal flesh, so I opted for the lobster salad bao and fried green tomorrow bao with eggplant bacon! Who even thinks of this stuff? With these, I got fries with the best spicy mayo like dipping sauce. We sat, and our food was brought out within 3 minutes. I'm not sure what bao is supposed to taste like, but they were delicious!!! Even the French fries had me licking my finger-tips. Excellent flavor with magnificent texture combinations. They have a variety to choose from, my friend had pork and said it was excellent. The food is awesome and they treat you nicely! Go here!!

Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi & Beef Pho
Wilson L.

I wanna start off by saying I really enjoyed the pho. The broth and meat really reminded me of traditional pho. Also, I loved the idea of a pho banh mi combo. Speaking of banh mi...the bread is borderline criminal. Flavors were there (the lemongrass chicken was flavorful), but half of what makes a banh mi good is a bomb baguette to go with it. the baguette here was cold, dense, and stale. Each bite felt like a chore. Overall, I recommend just the pho and maybe just grab a bao from a neighboring stand.

BBQ pork bahn mi
Dylan J.

My buddy told me this was the best Bahn mi spot in atl. He didn't lie. The lady behind the counter slings out some GOLD. CRISPY BREAD, Rich and flavorful pork, and of course all the fixings. It's hard to find a good, cheap, reliable Bahn mi downtown and they've actually smacked it out of the park of this one. The We Suki Suki global food collective comprises of many stalls that are restaurants. It's a must try.

Pork Bahn mi
Shaquita Y.

This is a for hall with several stalls in it offering a variety of food from Vietnamese to ethiopian cuisine. i apologize in advance but i don't remember the actual names of the stalls but i can tell you exactly what i ordered once you walk in the from door there is an opening to your left. at this location i ordered the pork Bahn mi with soup. the sandwich was filled with flavor, that included cooked pork, cucumber, cilantro, and siracha cause, i'll have to remember to ask for no sauce next time since it was too much for my buds. but the seasonings were perfect and the chicken soup was a perfect addition to dip your sandwich in since the bread is more on the crunchy side $10.76 we also go ta sushi burrito from three stalls down on the left. filled with shrimp tempura, crab salad, cucumber, etc. it was amazing. definitely large enough to split especially if you are ordering other items from within. there are picnic tables located throughout as well as a few table seats at the from window to enjoy your meals. everything smelled and looked delicious. the prices are more than fair especially for the amount of food you get. consider street parking since it's within the east atlanta village, there are parking lots but i'm not sure if they are private or not. the owner, q, is super cool and friendly as well.

Jasmine milk bubble tea
Nishly A.

Went here for lunch and definitely will be back for dinner. It is a limited menu for munch (bahm mi, pho, Bun and choice of two apps - spring rolls or papaya salad. Only beer and wine at lunch also. We choose spring rolls, bbq pork bahm mi, streak bun and I had the jasmie milk bubble tea. My hubby and I split everything as usual, and it was a lot of Food. The bahm mi is 8 inches and is enough on its own. The bun noodle bowl is huge and comes with an egg roll. The spring rolls were soo good that I did not get to try them bc my hubby ate both . Nice and quiet during Tues lunch, friendly service and parking right out front. Will come back for dinner as the menu is bigger and has some traditional Vietnamese dishes I have never tried. They also serve Cafe du Monde coffee, so it felt like NOLA

That should tell you something. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and the people make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. And the MUSIC?! Whoever is responsible for that playlist needs to share it immediately. The R&B and blues had me enjoying myself before the food even made it to the table. Good food is one thing, but good food with a playlist that makes you want to stay a little longer? Yes, please. For our first visit, we made a reservation and arrived early. They were able to seat us ahead of our reservation, which we really appreciated, especially because this is clearly a busy spot. Our server, Fiona, was so attentive and welcoming! She took great care of us, gave us a heads up about the strength of the frozen margarita, and made our first visit even better. She absolutely deserves a shoutout! We started with the ginger margaritas. My husband ordered the frozen version, and baby, Fiona was telling the truth about how strong it was! I ordered the regular version, and that one had plenty of strength itself, so I can only imagine what he was working with. What I appreciated was that you could still taste the ginger. The alcohol didn't completely take over the flavor, which made the drinks really enjoyable. The dumplings were amazing. My only complaint is that I wanted more of them! Next time, I'll just order two portions because those are absolutely worth doubling up on. We also tried the crab cakes, and they were so, so good. They weren't on the menu during our second visit, so I'm not sure whether they were seasonal or a special, but I would happily order them again if they return. The bang bang shrimp were another favorite. They had just the right balance of sweetness and heat, and we liked them enough to order them again on our next visit. There were several dishes we wanted to try, but once you find something that good, it's hard to leave it off your order. Then there was the General Tso pizza. We ordered a small, and honestly, it looked like enough to share among four people. Did that stop the two of us from eating it? Absolutely not. The flavor was so good, and the jalapeños added a kick that worked really well with everything else. It was one of the dishes I was most excited to try, and it absolutely lived up to that excitement. We finished with Ruthie's Biscoff chocolate cake, and please save room for it. It was such a good ending to the meal that we already knew we were getting it again before we even planned our second visit. And yes, we followed through. On our second visit, we tried the Brussels sprouts, mushroom dumplings, and Mongolian cheesesteak, along with several favorites from our first meal. The dumplings, bang bang shrimp, and Biscoff chocolate cake had already earned their places in our repeat order. I love being excited to try more of a menu while also having dishes I already know I want again. JenChan's has become one of those places I keep recommending whenever someone asks where to eat. The Chinese food and pizza combination gives you plenty of options, especially if you're going with people who want different things. Between the food, attentive service, welcoming atmosphere, and that playlist I'm still waiting on, there's so much to love. Two visits in, and I'm already ready for the third!

He provided some great recommendations and we decided to order the lobster crawfish wontons, the crispy beef, the drunken noodle with scallops and lobster tail, and the sticky ribs. I easily could have eaten all the wontons myself and the drunken noodles came large lobster tails and plenty of scallops. I ate these so fast that I forgot to take a picture. The crispy beef was a little bit on the sweeter side but it was the perfect amount of crunch and sauce that paired well with the vegetables and jasmine rice. I also really enjoyed the ribs--they were very tender and flavorful. It came with collard greens which I didn't enjoy as much but the other dishes were so good and I ate so much that I didn't mind. I also saw plenty of couples celebrating milestones together so it definitely makes for a cute night out if you're in the area looking to have a nice dinner with your partner. For Happy Hour I think their prices are excessive - with $14 for drinks and $8+ for tiny apps. I found service to be good. It took a long time for the hand roll to come out (over 25 minutes). When my friend arrived we both ordered the lobster fried rice dish. I could smell the rice was burned and it was when I tasted it. The server quickly replaced it and the new dish was fine and came out relatively quickly (much quicker than a raw hand roll).
