It really is a cool experience. We didn't eat so can't say anything about the food but my 2 year old had a great time! I noticed that they had some really unique toys that I had never seen before- not just Amazon bought toys or big brand named items. For example, they had a doona-looking stroller for baby dolls. It was adorable. The whole atmosphere and vibe were on point; I loved it! We already made plans to go for a second time on Wednesday!

It was perfect for our 15 mo. There was plenty of seating and tables for parents, plus a designated area for parties, which is a nice touch. They also have a solid menu with coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, and options for kids. I only tried the coffee which was good, and the food looked great from what I saw. They do require kids to wear grippy socks. We didn't come prepared, but they had them available for just $1.99. I did notice a few kids without them, so it doesn't seem heavily enforced. Also, parents will need to remove their shoes. One of the best parts was that there's no time limit on play, and they allow in-and-out access, which makes it really easy if you're juggling errands or a toddler's schedule. Overall, such a great find and definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

To name a few features, there are slides, obstacles, rope apparatus, and mini zip line. My girls spent more than two hours exploring and playing. There are cubbies and coat hangers by the front door. There are two bathrooms in the back. The facilities are relatively clean. It seems like they would also have themed-activities on various days so we will likely return to check them out.

My sister recently hosted a birthday party at Get Air, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moredisappointing due to several issues that need attention. The biggest concern was the temperature in the party room. We had more than 40 guests in the room, and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There was only one fan available, and when we asked if another fan could be provided, we were told that the additional fan was reserved for guests using the massage chairs. Given that the party room was packed with over 40 people, it seemed like a much greater need existed there than in the massage chair area. The heat became so unbearable that several guests went to their vehicles to retrieve battery-operated fans just to stay comfortable. One family even left the party early because of the conditions. It was clear that the room's ventilation or air conditioning was not adequate for the number of people using the space. Installing blinds on the large window may help reduce heat from the sun, but the HVAC system should also be evaluated to ensure the room remains comfortable for party guests. Another issue involved cleanliness and customer service. One of our party guests became sick and vomited. When the employee who appeared to be the supervisor on duty was informed, his response was disappointing. He appeared irritated and stated that he had another party to attend to and would get to the cleanup later. This was not an appropriate response to a situation involving guest health and sanitation. Based on this experience, I believe this location would benefit from: Additional staffing to properly support multiple parties at the same time. Improved customer service training for employees. An inspection of the HVAC system in the first party room to address the excessive heat. Additional cooling solutions, such as fans and window blinds, to keep guests comfortable. While the children enjoyed the attractions, the overall party experience was negatively impacted by the uncomfortable conditions and lack of responsive customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests. Hyper Kidz is a spacious indoor play center to help parents when their little ones are going stir…read morecrazy, especially over the winter. As with most play places, there are party rooms and an enormous, enclosed jungle gym-type structure. There are two areas where height is restricted to protect little ones from larger, more aggressive kiddos. The indoor basketball court and soccer field are a nice touch. Since this place opened in 2025, everything looks well maintained. Hyper Kidz loses a couple stars because... - I never saw anyone cleaning. - The visibility is terrible if you're a parent trying to track your kid outside the height-restricted areas. - While they have stools and ledges for parents to sit within the play area, the ledges face *away* from the main play structure, so it's not like you can look over your laptop to glimpse your kids from time to time - you're usually facing away from them. - The stools are too low to the ground and they have no back, so it's uncomfortable to sit for extended periods. - There was one (one!) employee working an enormous check-in line when I arrived at 12:18 p.m. on the Saturday after Christmas. Good lord, get her some help. - The bathroom situation is a disaster. As parents fill their water bottles, water spills all over the floor between the bathrooms. (Invest in one of those great water refill stations they have at O'Hare, Hyper Kids!) There's a weird bin with plastic booties you can put on to wear into the bathroom, but the trash bin for them outside the bathrooms was overflowing. - The entry area is pathetically small for how many people are here. Just a handful of tables (all covered in food leftovers). Monday-Thursday pricing: Infant, age 0-11 mos: $9.99 Toddler, age 1-2yrs: $12.99 Child, age 3-13: $14.99 Friday-Sunday pricing: Infant, age 0-11 mos: $14.99 Toddler, age 1-2yrs: $17.99 Child, age 3-13: $19.99 Apparently Wednesdays are $9.99 for all ages, so aim for Wednesdays, I guess. Of all the kids' play centers in the area I've been to, Ball Factory in Mount Prospect is the best staffed and most well-maintained. My kids are currently getting hot and sweaty somewhere inside Hyper Kidz, but I can't see them and they occasionally return to me to report that some kid hurt them or some hag of a mom yelled at them. I cannot see or prevent this because I cannot run laps around an enclosed play structure to try to keep tabs on them. But my kids seem to be having fun, so that's nice.
