He came up our choreography during our first dance lesson on the spot (he's THAT good), and it flows so well with our song for the First Dance. My fiancé and I had zero dance experience, so he was patient and kind when giving us feedback on how to improve. He also likes to crack jokes and make quirky analogies to make the experience fun and engaging! We're so excited to perform our First Dance at our wedding, thanks to him. We only did 5 lessons with him, but we learned so much! He's super easy to talk to, and he responds quickly over email and text. We did 5 lessons with William. His experience was obvious from the first moment we introduced ourselves. In our first lesson, he immediately asked super critical questions to make sure we were set up for success -- what songs, what style, how much space do you have, what shoes will you be wearing, what are you each wearing, how long will you be dancing for, etc. He help bring into reality how much preparation is needed beyond just practicing some dance steps! Each time we came to a lesson, he would think and design the next 30 or so seconds of our dance (we did about 2 mins total). It was super enjoyable to watch him think and create in real time, adopting to our skill level and dedication. We practiced regularly, sent home each time feeling "wow this is gonna be hard!" but then, after breaking down the film and practicing, returning confident and excited for the next challenge. We would tweak and iterate as we went along, with William happy to incorporate our feedback and changes. By our 5th and final lesson, William just helped us iron out the details -- posture, timing, smiles, arm placement. It was so much fun. We looked forward to it each week. And the end result was magical. It was one of the highlights of the wedding (easily my parents favorite moment). I'm so incredibly glad we took these lessons.
