Rented 3 bikes for a week during Fantasy Fest. I was contacted early on the day I was supposed to pick the bikes up. Very chillax. Nice bikes, inexpensive, easy process. The woman who helped us was nice. Only reason I can't give 5 stars is when returning the bikes I walked into the office and the guy working (manager or owner I think) walked towards me but then sat down at the counter and waited a good 45 seconds before looking up from his phone, acknowledging my presence and asking how he could help me. It struck me as quite odd. Empty store except he and I, and he'll recognize my presence when he's darn good and ready. I read a few other reviews that mentioned a guy on a phone call who was rude. Booked a bike rental through the internet before heading down to the keys. Some friends of mine paid $12 a day from another company, but we paid $10. I saw there was 10% off from Yelp, but I booked online, and I didn't bother to look into if I could get the discount from the online purchase. The best thing about this place was that they had free delivery, so when we got to Key West, our bikes were at our place. One thing to keep in mind: The place we were staying at had strict rules about where the bikes can and cannot be locked up. Unfortunately, when We Cycle dropped them off, they dropped them off where they cannot be up, which almost cost us our deposit on our place. That was stressful! The baskets were sturdy but could have been deeper, but the lights on the bikes were a great feature. read more

We decided to rent 4 bikes for one day so we could get to the East Martello Museum and meet Robert the Doll. What an easy experience! We rented from the WeCycle on Southard Street, since it was right around the block from our hotel. It was a quick in and out, a very reasonable price (lower than other bike rental quotes I had seen around the island), and the clerk even helped us raise/lower our seats. The bikes were in excellent condition, and it wound up being one of our favorite activities we did all week. When I come back, I definitely plan to rent bicycles again for a day or two - or even the whole trip. Key West is very bicycle friendly (lots of places to lock up the bike, and the bike rental comes with a lock!). The bikes was perfect for Key West! So glad my husband and I went with the Adult Trike. We locked a cooler & bike and bikes the whole island. Didn't have to worry about balancing with the three wheel option specially if you will be drinking. We picked up at the Old Town location and the lady there was awesome, informative and sweet. The other couple we went with got the ebikes. The loves not having to work as hard. Think they stated it had 4 settings. The only thing they did not like was the location was far away. However they do have drop off and pick up options. Definitely go with a bike when you're in Key West. You could really lock your bike anywhere that will not block traffic read more

I wanted to rent a tandem and specifically chose We Cycle because they had one. They weren't the closest to where the cruise ship shuttle dropped us off, but was willing to deal with the longer walk to get a tandem. Even though I reserved weeks in advance, the tandem wasn't at the shop I was told it was going to be at. They called to have it delivered from their other shop and gave a couple of individual bikes to use while the tandem was being delivered. I see from reviews We Cycle is great with bike rentals, wonderful. Buying a bike is a different story. We bought an adult three wheel bike for 583.67 on December 5, 2018. We were told that after some usage the chain would stretch, as a never used bike. We were to get a free first time adjustment, at our home. Apparently now we don't qualify for this service. We are outside of the immediate KW area, on Big Coppitt Key 4 miles from We Cycle. Be very careful buying anything! read more

Expensive, poorly maintained bikes. That may be the norm down here, not sure, but I wasn't that impressed. Furthermore, the bikes were filthy. Never, ever cleaned. I would put money on it. Ruined several pairs of shorts riding their bikes due to dirt and grease. I am sure many will find that comment funny, or that maybe I am being overly particular...but seriously, clothes are expensive and this added significantly to the cost of renting from them. All the places get booked up in high season, so word to the wise, make a reservation. read more

Best rates in Key West that I could find, and great service. Normally $55/week for beach cruiser and $65/week for 3-speed, Chris gave us a deal on 3 bikes (either one) for $50/week each - including lights, locks and baskets. They also drop off/pick up the bikes at your hotel. After the first day, I called because the light on my bike was dim and my husband's bike was squeaky. They came right over to the hotel, replaced my light and (after trying to fix the squeak) replaced his bike - super quick and friendly service. Decent service at fair rates. If they ask where you heard about them, tell you've rented their bikes a year before and you'll get 20% discount. Back to the basics. Service is friendly and helpful. They pick up the bike at your hotel afterwards free of charge. If there are problems with the bike just give them a call and they send our a car with a new bike or quickly repair yours. We rented cross trainers so we could bike a bit further than is comfortable on Cruisers. The bikes were in great shape, the gears and brakes worked well and the saddles were comfortable. They had a flashing led on the back for night riding. The bikes were delivered to our B&B while we were out on a boat trip. The only thing I would have liked is a small basket. There is a rack on the back but we had no way to bungee anything on it. But all it is the only way to see KW IMHO. read more

If you are going to ride all day and circle the island or visit Stock Island a bike with gears is much better than a beach cruiser. Hard rating this one. Their customer service and prices are quite just right. Free delivery and pick up is extremely helpful and time-saving. The only issues I had were with the bike itself. The breaks were soft and very loud. It was a little embarrassing every time we came to a stop people would turn their heads. Also our kick-stand broke off literally the first time we put it up = our bike was a little harder to park all week. The other complaint is the seats. My wife and I rented a tandem, and maybe it was just ours in particular, but the seats were very uncomfortable. Our nether regions were sore all week (and not from the fun way). Now, if I had complained, I'm sure they would have given us a different bike, as they do offer roadside assistance, etc. , but vacation time is precious. If they update some of their bikes, they'd be a five-star service. But overall I recommend them. read more

I cannot be happier with my experience with We Cycle. My boyfriend and I were visiting Key West and I heard bikes are the best way to explore.
