Its not often that one's expectations are exceeded however today I must mention such situation…read more It has to do with the Service Department of Barry Cullen Chevrolet in Guelph. Led by the Manager Mike and Service Advisor Marty, the Parts department and lastly the technician that worked on my Traverse. I took it in yesterday for them to check out the transmission as what seemed to be a minor glitch and during that process in was discovered that the TCM needed replacing. Initial estimates were that it would take 2-3 days fro the part to come in from Michigan and a further 6 hours of labour for re-installation, replacing the fluid, programming, adjustments and subsequent testing. This service team took it upon themselves to further cement my decision to chose them as the dealership that would service my Travers when we moved to Guelph 3 years ago. We had plans to leave on a trip and would have had to seek alternate transportation however I was more than pleasantly surprised to receive a call today about 24 hours after being told that the earliest it could be ready was Friday, which stated that it was ready for pickup! The parts department successfully sourced the part locally, the technician worked non stop to get it ready. Needless to say Barry Cullen will continue to be my only choice to provide service to my Traverse!

I did my regular service and few other services for my nissan rogue from guelph nissan and after couple of days I noticed a continuous and considerable oil leak underneath my engine. Then I checked as I could and i saw the oil filter was completely loose and rotating. THE TECHNICIAN DIDN'T TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER AT ALL. If I didn't check it I might have to my replace my whole engine by running without engine oil. I don't know whether it is already damaged. I will not bring my vehicle there again. BRING YOUR VEHICLE THERE ONLY IF YOU NEED TO DAMAGE AFTER PAYING MORE MONEY.

I was there twice for three hours for a 10 minute scan and the second time was about a 3 minute test. When it is a safety issue it really is unbelievable to charge customers diagnosis. Never had this with any other car company I owned vehicles with. Honda did the work if it needed it or not when it came to safety issues. Not these guys. You pay if your car is hooked up to the scanner for minutes. Nissan Canada is no help either you just pay and tough luck Charlie you are on your own. I never thought Nissan was like this with safety issues but I learned. I basically wasted 3 hours of my life for 10 minutes of their time and got a 160 dollar car wash. Thanks guys you got my money this time and I can see why your reviews are all shit on here. No wonder. If someone brings in a car with a warranty safety issues they should pay ZERO to have it diagnosed. Terrible policy by both Guelph and Nissan Canada. Never again. I will buy Honda, Toyota next time.

Customer Service is absolutely terrible and a BIG FAIL! Do not buy any of their vehicles. They are only concerned about the money. Much more reliable and safe vehicles are Toyota and Nissan. Don't waste your money on Chrysler Junk vehicles and very very poor customer service! It's really unfortunate we don't have the lemon laws here in Canada like they have in the U.S as this Jeep was a Lemon.

When I obviously was not happy, a rep came out and asked what the problem was when told, he asked if I dropped it off on lot or outside the gate, I dropped it off inside the lot the night before the work was to be done, then he goes inside and talks to his tech, who blatantly lied and said it was like that when I dropped It off.. which is a complete load of nonsense, I would notice if my ENTIRE drivers side had scratches all down the side of it and a huge paint chip missing from the mirror. He said he's going to check the cameras outside on the lot, well a lot of good that does me if the damage happened inside the service area if there's no cameras in the service area.. so needless to say I'm not impressed after paying these fools 2000+$ to get my car back full of scratches.
