The prices are higher than Lowe's or Home Depot but again (from me); supporting local business is important and something I am willing to spend a bit more for. It is awfully convenient to have this size of store in little ole Pendleton...smaller than a big box but large enough to carry whatever your home improvement needs are. Today I was costing fertilizer and the price was just slightly higher than Home Depot. Good enough for me. There isn't a ton of staff there but the place is never too busy either.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable. This isn't a box store just a good group of people in a small town selling lumber, hardware and supplies. Yes thing's here are a little more expensive, unfortunately so is gasoline. The staff here is always been friendly and helpful, they don't always have exactly what I need but in a lot of cases they have enough product to do a work around and they are local. I like to support the local community that is essentially supporting me. They do have a large variety of goods in their store, I've never purchased their garden plants but they always look much better than the box stores.
