Met with Barry the salesman. He spent a hour going through my house showing me where he thought are the correct areas to protect my home. He did not upsell and was very matter of fact and professional. I've delt with Wayne alarm years ago as I was a time Firefighter and this company was servicing a residential are. They where then and they still are very skilled at the work the do. Joe was the technician who came and Installed my alarm as promised on the date picked out. Joe was fast and very professional and knows his stuff. He evidently has been doing this for a very long time because he had no issues understanding what Barry and I agreed on as far as placement and execution of alarm Installation. I am extremely pleased with the work Joe did. Joe even got back to me in the early evening to make sure I was happy with alarm and that I understood how to operate it. I did have a couple quick questions and Joe answered them perfectly. Thanks Wayne alarm for everything. I appreciate you making my ho.e extra safe now. 5 Star rating for Ryan Barry and the team at Wayne Alarm. I worked with Ryan for 2 weeks to get the system up, running, and passed the Burlington FD inspection. Ryan had to coordinate the service team, install team and then back to the service team so they could be there when the Burlington Fire department could be there for this extremely complicated commercial grade alarm system in a residential home. Ryan was professional and knowledgeable. He recommended a path to get the system working. I'm a homeowner on the North Shore. They are so good with communication regarding system issues. I just got a call regarding heads-up on low battery on smoke alarm. Disrespectful and horribly inefficient. Unprofessional and Poor service all around. AVOID! As a new homeowner I wanted to install a complete security system. Following internet reviews I contact Wayne Alarm and spoke to a nice sales person (Lia). Got an appointment with a representative (Kevin) who showed-up on time. As we did not yet move-in, I needed to travel to the meeting in the property. Kevin spent a considerable time walking around, taking notes and promised a detailed quote that evening by email. THIS IS where the Wayne Alarm of the story ends! 48 hours+ later I called Wane Alarm and left a detailed message at Lia's voice mail (the nice sales person from Chapter 1 of our story) - nothing! later in the afternoon I called and asked to speak to a service supervisor. Got a lady who listened, asked for a few minutes to check and came back telling me that Kevin (representative for Chapter 1) will call me right back - he is on the road. That is the last I have heard from them! Good luck getting their attention when you have an emergency if they can't get their act together even when they try to sell you a system. read more

I've never had such a terrible expierence with a company. Sales people were extremely rude. Woman came to my house and told me I was overwhelmed with my children and that I didn't fill out papers she needed. We filled them out and sent them in TWICE. They still called and said they didn't receive them. Service came to change the low battery. The problem was never resolved we continued to have a low battery alert going off all the time. We tried to have someone come out and fix it but that never happened and they also continued to try and charge us for the initial failed attempt. This company is a disgrace and a joke. There are plenty of wonderful reputable companies out there. I am very happy with our new one. read more

I have been a very satisfied customer of Wayne Alarm for over 35 years. Whenever the alarm has sounded for an attempted break-in, both myself and the police were notified immediately. The alarm system has thwarted a number of break-in attempts. The service provided by Wayne Alarm has always been top notch. I don't know why anyone would ever consider using a national provider - such as ADT. When you deal with Wayne Alarm, you are in contact with local people who are familiar with your territory - not someone from very far away. We contacted Wayne Alarm to have them support out system for a smoke detector test from the town so we could complete the sale of our house. The responsiveness was 5 stars plus! Catherine Ardrey went above and beyond for us to make sure our system was ready for inspection. Today it is great to see that great service still exist and phones get answered and calls returned. Searched everywhere for a good alarm company. We went with Wayne and they installed our alarm within 2 weeks time. They guy was awesome who installed it and the sales person was excellent. They are very well experienced, polite and trustworthy. Everyone we dealt with was very polite, and respectful. In general my home is protected, off-time answering service is great. Nonetheless, call center staff need to maintain a level of professionalism at all times. Imperative to add, call center staff need sensitive training with the goal of learning to deal with diverse clients with a focus on LGBT community. It is offensive to be told you do not sound like a male when in fact you are; such statement is offensive and out of line. read more

Wayne Alarm is local and reliable. I have had my alarm for 5 months now and haven't had any issues. The system is extremely user friendly and any time I need anything changed I'll speak with Kristen in the service department and she is always so pleasant to speak with and is right on it and even lets me know when everything is all set! I had service with Lexington Alarm now Wayne Alarm for years. However recently when I was looking to upgrade they canceled an appointment with less than 24 hour notice and deceived me about the reason why I later came to find out. I went back and forth with them finally they sent a technician out to my home and at that point told me they couldn't perform the service and would not disconnect the service. I told the technician to get out and he got aggressive and indirectly threatened me with profanity inside my home. I called the police who came to my home and they called the Vice President and he would not release the name of his technician. Beware of this company. I believe they switched ownership and they don't protect you. They protect their own. There are more reputable companies out there you can feel safe with. read more

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Rob, the technician who installed the security system at my condo, was very kind, spent time training me on the system and left the place spotless. Whenever I had any questions about my security system I was never concerned to call into the technical for help . Everyone I have ever talked to has been so helpful. They do it right the first time. The one's to call if you want to be safe and sound.

Zero stars. The salesperson they sent out the first time was wonderful. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. First, they billed us for equipment they did not install. It was a nightmare to rectify. Literally dozens of phone calls and emails until the bill was finally fixed and we were credited. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Then, 2 months after they Installed a horn strobe in one of our units it failed to sound when the system false alarmed. All the other strobes in the building sounded- but not the new one Finally got Wayne to come over to see what the issue was. Technician took one look and said the strobe had not been connected properly. Basically, the expensive new strobe was a big ugly "decoration" on the wall. Wayne refused to fix it, and claimed they were not responsible b/c the prior company (that had installed the strobe they replaced) didn't install it correctly! Seriously? Oh- and did I mention- they BILLED US AGAIN to come out and tell us that the "work" they did originally was faulty. Gave them plenty of chances to rectify the situation. Very disappointing that there are companies out there that have so little work ethic. read more
