I would rate them Zero stars. First off I called the store to ask if they took walk-in appointments and they told me they did but didn't have availability until after 6:30pm. She then told me that I needed to have my card on file (we were on the phone, I 100% did not trust that and did not have my wallet on hand) to secure my appointment and then proceeded to tell me to call back before 7pm to see if the slot is still open. I call at 6:40 they told me that the slot is open, I make my way (4 minute drive by the way) and I sit in the front of the place for 20 minutes before someone came to the desk and told me that they can only do a half Brazilian because they closed at 8pm. HALF? I do not understand why they misled me because they just told me otherwise. I wouldn't recommend this shop. I'm sitting in the parking lot and watched someone get directed to the back with no problem. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and made me waste gas. I won't make a trip again. read more

I booked a 7pm appointment for my girlfriend and for some reason when she got there they had already took a walkin in her appointment time and when she arrived she waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before somebody came to the front to greet her. after they greeted her they told her they took a walkin during her appointment time with no explanation and said they can only do half the Brazilian wax because they close in 20 minutes. So they gave her appointment spot away and only offered to do half of the wax? that's not right and not ok. read more

I wen there for the first time Monday. They were great. Very polite and worked me in same day. I seen Adrianna and she was great as well. She took her time and did my eyebrows with no rush. She answered my questions and was very polite. My eyebrows were a hot durn mess and she make them look amazing! I had been letting one side grow out thinking that it grew weird and they needed correction . She informed me they didn't grow abnormally they were just blonde ‍ and showed me the correct thing to use to take care of it. I had a great experience and will be back! read more

I did a walk in and I was not happy with the results. I still had hairs and it was just a complete let down. I've never left a waxing feeling like I had to go home and finish it myself. I asked her to get the bottom hairs after looking in the mirror andddddd they're still there? They're not shaped, barely waxed, not cleaned up. I shouldn't have payed but I just wanted to leave. Came to Dothan to visit family. Needed my brows waxed. Found this place on yelp! I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that I did. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and ended up making an appointment for a lash lift and tint the very next day. Adrianna lifted my lashes and I've loved them ever since. My natural lashes are very light brown. I love that she darkened them making them not only visible but so much fuller looking. I haven't worn mascara in weeks. Now, I know you're probably thinking that's a waste of money to get your lashes lifted BUT I will confess I have crazy lashes that like to grown straight out of my lids instead of curving up. Which usually leads to me pulling out my lashes due to them poking me in my eye. Being a contact wearer, that doesn't work well. In a nut shell, I will be making appointments every visit back to Dothan. I currently live 3 hours away. I pray Adrianna doesn't leave any time soon. She was professional, quick, knowledgeable and sweet as sugar! For once, I didn't have to go behind the individual doing my brows and tweak them!! I love Waxing the City! The girls there are absolutely amazing. Forgive me for never remembering anyone's name, but I've been going there for over a year I believe and I wouldn't go anywhere else! They are very understanding if I have an unexpected cancelation (I have a 3 year old) and help me reschedule. I love the products they offer as well! I was sold on their own brand of sugar scrub until they brought LaLicious in and Omg super amazing! I love their under eyes masks and the foot soaks they offer (all things to take home and do). One of the worst run businesses I have ever been in my entire life in Dothan Alabama. The management team does not want any feedback on their services. I went in and spent $70 And the tech was very snotty. And the services rendered and was not completeed .I left a review on the website an a woman named Sam call me Sam said she would get with the manager and come to a resolution Sam called me back about an hour later and told me her manager refunded my money and did not want my business any further! My recommendation is do not leave any reviews or Express any negative response towards waxing the city the management cannot handle it. they totally need people skills and coaching if they plan on staying in business. Also I spoke with corporate. Corporate told me they would have the owner contact me which the owner never did! So up until today, I have been happy with this location. However today I missed my appointment and well they were rude to say the least. The first who called hung up when I tired to explain that my family had been in an auto accident earlier in the week and I had just forgotten.
