I made an appointment to get my eyebrows micro bladed. The website said they did permanent makeup/eyebrows, so I assumed microblading was an option. When I booked, I booked the "Custom Brows $100 deposit" (that's literally all the information it gives) option from the drop down box. I got a call the day of asking if I would move my appointment up, and I said I'd try and mentioned what I was hoping to get done. She told me on the phone that she doesn't offer microblading, she only does powder brows. But that wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website or on the booking app. Or I wouldn't have booked it. So, instead of get a tattoo on my face that I'm unsure about, I decided to cancel. She then informed me that she would be keeping the deposit of $100. Now, look. I get that people have to make money. But, if your website is unclear and someone makes an appointment with a reasonable assumption about what services they'll be receiving based on the information provided there, then it feels a bit sketchy to keep the deposit. These ladies could be wonderful, but I'll never use any of their services now. It's just really bad customer service. Enjoy the $100 that I set aside to pamper myself after 15 months of breastfeeding as a new mom, Amy, because even if I do end up deciding to go with powder brows, I'm taking the rest of my money to my friend's artist in Pensacola. So frustrating and disappointing. read more

Hey Gorgeous is a very nice and immaculate salon/spa. The owner, Tammy, is a true professional and is very personable. She applied eyelash extensions to my eyelashes. They looked amazing! Very natural color, length and shape. She uses eyelash extension glue that doesn't burn, versus hair extension glue which burns and turns the eyes red. She is professionally trained and a true artist. Her eyebrow artist is about to be trained on the ombré method. I look forward to having that done. read more

This place is amazing! My first eyelash extension experience and it was more than I could have hoped for. Taylor was so nice and professional. The chairs are comfortable and the room they do the eyelashes in is relaxing but open conversation was flowing. So sad I'm moving soon or I would be a regular!!! read more

In over 30 years of having my hair either colored and/or highlighted, last week was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with my hair. This salon seems to be fairly popular in the area and I had seen their commercial and decided to give them a try. Mostly because my grey roots were starting to shine and I had a formal function to attend that involved pictures. My usual hairstylist was booked up and couldn't get me in for when I needed it, so I thought what the heck, their ads made their hair stylists look like hair Gods. So I made an appointment with Amanda Glenn, their "top" stylist. From the time that I sat in her chair was not a good experience. Should've run away when she said a client who had very brassy, splotchy roots had gorgeous hair. I thought that maybe the girl with the very brassy hair wanted it like that, so I stayed. So we proceeded. My first complaint was that Amanda right off the bat started yelling and criticizing her "apprentice", Sam. At first I thought that she must be playing, surely she wasn't serious. But nope, she was serious and obviously this was the norm. It wasn't just a little critical joking between friends/coworkers, no. She criticized her for most everything she did the entire visit. From the cords that weren't completely straight to EVERYTHING it seemed. Honestly most of the over 5 (FIVE!) hours that I was there she was criticizing Sam about something. Right in front of clients, even the new ones like me. Made me very uncomfortable. I felt so bad for Sam. It was all so uncalled for. Amanda was the most unprofessional and bullying stylist I have ever had the experience of witnessing. Even if she had done my hair right, I still would not have ever gone back to her because of the complete unprofessionalism. I've been in a leadership role most of my adult life and know you don't abuse and bash your students/employees like that, especially in front of customers or other students. And now to my hair - simply put, my hair is a horrible mess, a disaster as I've been told by other hairstylists. I'm waiting now to get it corrected as much as possible. As soon as I got up from the shampoo bowl and glanced in the mirror I could see this big area that looked like a huge bald spot on the right front top side of my head. I asked Amanda about it and she said "oh it's fine, don't worry about it, we'll blend it" I was nervous now. I could also tell that my hair was very brassy and orange at the root area, just like I was worried would happen after seeing the girl after arriving there. I was trying to point out that I didn't like it when Amanda told me to go back to the shampoo bowl. She said she was putting a toner on it. While she was putting the toner on she started yelling at Sam again and insinuating that she shouldn't have let me see in the mirror I'm presuming. She was literally trying to blame Sam for my messed up color job that SHE did. She said my hair was damaged when I asked about the missing hair - it was NOT. I said I sure hoped the color would change some when it was dry. I also mentioned the areas on the front top of my head. She said this would fade in a couple of days. All this time my hair was brushed down. She dried and curled it and it didn't look so bad then, actually looked pretty good. Well after I shampooed my hair and pulled it up I was in shock. There are spots and blotches all over my entire head, bleach spots/blotches on top of the brown and brown spots/blotches all over the bleached areas. My hair is so damaged now! She uses light for pics at end to distort true color. She was extremely rude when I contacted her to let her know. She said "we don't offer refunds and I am done with your hair" after I sent her pics. That was it. I have texts between us if anyone would like to see them. I was blown away at the rudeness. So beware, you will not get a refund if she messes your hair up. I would not have let her attempt to fix my hair after this disaster, too scary. Have pics of back and sides, too, if interested. She said she owned the salon with Tammy. Found out she does not. Just beware in case your experience is bad, you're on your own here. Now I'm out the ridiculous amount I paid her plus the amount for correction. Tammy, the owner, said Amanda is self employed and she's not responsible for her mistakes. read more
