My family and I have been going to Pinky Nails for years and really enjoyed most the employees doing a good job. My sister came in from Chicago and wanted to go have mani perks done for both of us so of course, I suggested Pinky Nails. When we got there I got an older Asian lady that never waited on me before she said because my left hand was crippled she couldn't do a manicure. This had never happened before I have had numerous manicures so I told her fine I'd leave. She said, " Oh no, I can do it.". as she was looking at her boss. She cut them so short and irregular and forgot the clear polish. When we got home my sister was furious took a picture went back and complained demanded her money back which they refused! Picked them after reading Yelp reviews for my daughter and her BFF. They were going to Dothan for a day of shopping (we live in Enterprise). I called and made them an appt. same day on a Saturday. My daughter got a gel manicure and her friend got a new full set of acrylic nails. They did a wonderful job and I am super picky because I have a gel set at home and usually do our nails myself. I will definitely not be returning to this location. I was in town for a wedding and wanted to get my nails done. I made an appointment for an hour and half before closing and got there early, but was incredibly rushed. All the clipping and filing was super fast and aggressive and the lady kept telling me to relax. It's a little hard to relax when my nails are being filed to death and it's painful. She only put two coats and a top coat and it was dried with a lamp and small fan. She all but kicked me out of the store at 6pm (an hour before closing). When I was looking in my purse for cash for a tip, she was ushering me out saying "I'll be okay. Thank you. Don't mess up your nails (which wouldn't be a problem if you'd let them dry properly)." Everything was just so rushed and they weren't fully dry when I left so they got messed up. She ushered me out the door and locked it/turned off the light directly behind me. I felt like a burden. Ended up going to Walgreens to get a nail color to paint over it because it was messed up. Don't recommend. I honestly regret the generous tip I gave. ($6 on a $23 acrylic full set). read more

This place ROCKS!!! The staff was super nice, skilled and attentive. The facilities were modern, clean and well maintained. My only critique would be that they could use more in the way of color selection. I got lucky and noticed a cool color and technique the technician was using in another customer. I stopped in while on a trip to Dothan. I figured with 4/5 stars it was a safe bet. Unfortunately they took me when they obviously did not have time. They soaked my nails (which I will say were giving them a hard time) for around 30ish minutes. My lady was very rude and sighing extremely loudly like she was annoyed I was there. She left me and did a whole pedicure while I was sitting there soaking my nails off. Overall I had 3 people work on me. I was there for 2 hours and probably 30 minutes of that was actually spent on my nails. My last lady was nice, however she was visibly irritated and RUSHED through my nails. I get my nails done often and have never seen someone do dip that quickly. She didn't even ask if I wanted them cut, and probably wouldn't have shaped them unless I said something. Overall going to give Pinky Nails a 3 stars. They were nice and greeted us as we walked in and were able to seat us on time for our appointment. Only reason I'm giving them a 3 Star is for two reasons. First one being it's sanitation was not great. Their tools did not seem clean/were reused and had not been sanitized before prior use. First thing I noticed was that their tools were NOT in a pouch or had NOT been cleaned before she used them. Gross! It was very noticable and a little alarming. Secondly my experience with Tammy Lee wasn't wonderful. She didn't use gloves and messed up my gel manicure. The gel is over the cuticle. My nails and hands felt dirty during the process. She would rub my hands in lotion and the place my hands on the bare table without a towel or anything - it just wasn't sanitary at all. I'm not one to right a review like this but I felt like I need to - sanitation is huge! read more

Whenever I started going to this nail salon in 2012, I fell in love! Recently though, it has not been so amazing. I cannot get in unless I call for an appointment or I can wait an hour, and even when I do, I still have to wait ten to fifteen minutes for them to be ready for me. One time when I got a pedicure, the technician did nothing to my left foot, I guess she forgot, and only put the lotion on then painted it. Another time, I had to get some acrylic nails taken off, and the technician did not take all of it off, and when she painted my nails, it was on my fingers too. Also, with the acrylic nail still on my nails, it looked horrible. A couple of times getting a manicure have been not so great too; my nails were crooked and uneven and three of my fingers were bleeding for when they were working on my cuticles.
