The ladies here are great. They are careful and thorough with their work but fast and efficient. The prices are reasonable and I can always get an appointment when it's most convenient for me. There is free parking in the back. It can get crowded during lunch and dinner hours but I've been able to find a spot every time. read more

I can't recommend this place enough. It's clean and well lit. The walls don't reach the ceiling so if you're a very private person that may be an issue. Park in the back and go up the back stairs. My first time experience with Brazilian waxing was AMAZING. Customer service was on point and the actual waxing session was not as painful as I thought it would be. Suzy took care of me and she definitely made me feel comfortable. We had a conversation throughout the session and before I knew it, we were done. She said it typically takes about 15 minutes but it felt shorter than that. Making an appointment: I sent a text and the responses were prompt! I made the appointment the day of and luckily they had some spots open for me. Quick and easy. Parking: They are located in a plaza with a large parking lot. Although it is big, it still took me a few minutes to find a spot on a late Monday morning. Make sure to come at least 15 minutes early to find a spot I would say! Also if you can't find one, the person who I made an appointment with said I can park at Walgreens (across del Mar Blvd) if the lot is full. read more

A brazilian wax so comfortable, I was able to have a full on conversation with my esthetician the entire time lol. Listen. I understand that these types of waxing services aren't the most pleasant, but please believe me when I tell you she was as gentle as ever! I've had such a love/hate relationship with brazilian waxes. The results, amazing, but the process I never look forward to, since I have such a low tolerance for pain. Anyhow, that all turned around after seeing Jen. She was very thorough, attentive, and sanitary; she threw away all disposable items right in front of me and offered me more calming aloe gel if needed. She is also very personal, even giving me a hug upon leaving. That was a nice surprise (I'm a hugger)! She seems to really love what she does, which translates to impeccable service. I am a happy camper and will be seeing her for my next appointment. There is ample parking front in front of the location (Shopper's Ln). One of the exceptionally few unfortunate downsides about moving to Pasadena is having to leave my trusted beauticians back in the Valley. Because of this I was putting off my regular waxing until everything got out of control. Thankfully, I found Reid at Wax Candy. Making an appointment was quick and easy, and the wax itself was painless and left no stragglers or skin reactions. My prior wax lady (Waxer? Waxist? Am I a waxee?) was incredibly fast and thorough - while Reid is not quite as fast as my prior, I'm okay with that - if someone has a different technique with which she's more comfortable, then by all means, take your time. Reid was also appropriately chatty and conversant (super crucial for taking your mind and focus off one's hair follicles). To top it off, the wax was relatively very affordable for Pasadena, and the facilities are clean and welcoming. Parking is ample in the the large lot in the back - and the entrance is to the right (north) of Mediterranean Cafe, and then up a flight of stairs. read more

I didn't care for this place... I lucked up they were able to squeeze me in one day, but I definitely wouldn't go back. The girl who waxed me just didn't seem like she wanted to be there, she walked in and got straight to it. She didn't bother asking me my name and she didn't introduce herself. I feel like that is very unprofessional...you're waxing my vag ...can I get a name or something ?? I'm curvy and recommended for her to wax me on my side...nope she just did what she wanted. They don't put any aftercare ointments or jojoba oil...she just left me with a napkin and missed a few areas that I plucked on my own. My waxer Christa was amazing and efficient, super nice girl. The place could use some sprucing up, but I'm not here to complain about that. The receptionist was a total grump with horrible customer service. My appt. was at 2pm, and I read on the sign that if the door is locked please wait until your appt time. So I waited and knocked at 1:59pm as I knew I was going to have to fill out a waiver. The girls were in there because I could hear them chit chatting loudly, she finally lets me in and was rude saying that they are wrapping up lunch(as if I was intruding, sorry I am on time for my appointment lol). From that point on, she had no manors and I felt that I had to try extra hard for her to even consider me as a human in front of her. So that was a bummer :/ read more

Yay for Wax Candy! I've come here twice now and both Reid & Danielle were wonderful. Both experiences I felt very comfortable and was done in no more than 10-15 mins & both ladies were very particular in making sure everything was off! I can't speak for everyone, but I didn't feel that much pain, probably because I chat the entire time! Also I am always happy with the end result. The booking process is super easy/straightforward and they have always accommodated my desired date & time to come in, I do make sure I give at least 2 days ahead of time! There is ample parking although I tend to come very early & the plaza may be packed in the afternoon/evening. It's located on the second floor next to Mediterranean Grill & you can't miss the signs. The waxing rooms are super clean and they provide you with more cleansing oil afterwards if needed. My only qualm is the walls don't go all the way up so you can hear a lot between rooms. But it isn't a big deal to me! Prices here are amaaazing too which is one of the reasons I choose Wax Candy. read more

When it comes to waxing, I am extremely picky. It is hard to find a place that you can feel comfortable and get the results you're looking for. Luckily, I have found Wax Candy and I will only get Brazilians with them. The salon is always clean, the ladies are professional, they use a good quality wax, and the prices are the best around. Wax Candy has been my go to spot for a little over a year and I don't have any plans on leaving them. I am so comfortable there that I don't even have a preference on who waxed me, but I tend to get Jen, Michelle and Suzy most often. Make sure to call ahead or make an appointment, and also grab a piece of candy on your way out. read more

This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST you will find for Waxing! I have been getting Brazilian waxed at Wax Candy since their first location opened in downtown LA. I started with Reid in downtown and followed her to the Pasadena location when it opened up. I then started waxing with Jen. Both Reid and Jen are so amazing! Both super friendly, make you feel very comfortable, work with small strips to ease the pain, but are fast at the same time. Also, they both make sure to tweeze any hairs they miss and overall give you a great experience. My sister also gets waxed here by other girls and says her experience is just as pleasant. Not only will you get a great experience, the best wax with zero hairs left behind, but only $43 for a Brazilian?! That's unheard of! I definitely recommend Wax Candy to everybody! read more

Amazing!! best eyebrow wax! She was so detailed, and listened when I told her I have sensitive skin and lift easily under my brow bone. She even had me sit up so she could look from a different angle and make sure that my eyebrows were symmetrical. Also did my nose, and was so detailed. Really impressed!!
