Eyebrow was butchered and for someone with ombre brows literally tattooed on, I don't know how the technician Sam did this. Despite the owner's kind offer to purchase me an eyebrow pencil, I'm still upset that a patch of my hair was removed. I will unfortunately not returning. read more

I've been a fan of the Downtown LA location for years, so I was very happy when I realized they had a spot in Pasadena. Wax Candy is my favorite favorite place for waxing. A Brazilian is $42, they're thorough and want you to leave hairless and happy, they are fast, they don't guilt trip me if I go too long without a wax, they never try to push products on you, and scheduling is super easy. This location takes appointment requests by text message, and I can usually get in at the last minute if I forget to book in advance. Everyone I've spoken with at the front desk or have been waxed by has been incredibly friendly. And they have rad art in every room too! There is a big parking lot off Shoppers Lane and the entrance is there instead of Lake Ave. The parking lot can get a little crazy on the weekends because it's shared by so many businesses, so make sure to plan for some extra time! read more

I've been going to Wax Candy for years! The office is always clean and gives off positivity vibes with the soothing music! I'd highly recommend giving them a try! I followed Maria from the DTLA location. She is very detailed and customer friendly. I routinely get the Brazilian, underarms and lower legs waxed. The wax is the perfect temperature and pain is minimal; I wouldn't even really call it pain, but a very quick discomfort! I travel from the South Bay to Pasadena because I've been so satisfied with my results. And being that you are very up close and personal, it's hard try to find someone to be so comfortable with! I was desperate but nervous to get a eyebrow wax because I had a very bad experience my very first time getting my eyebrows done so I absolutely hated my eyebrows and needed them to be shaped and just fixed, So I decided to try Wax Candy and now I'm so happy with my eyebrows!! Came to this place for my first Brazilian wax ever! The experience was really good. I came into this with a few fears of my own since I've always heard that it's not only extremely painful but can be awkward too but I'm here to tell you the ladies at wax candy didn't make me feel that way at all. Last week, though, I got a call from the Pasadena mngr who promised my money back, apologizing for the experience. I gladly accepted, thought it was really cool.
