I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. I'm so glad I finally found a new trusted mechanic! Will definitely take my car to Brian and the team for all future maintenance services.

Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. They said it was because the alternator was the wrong size but the parts dealer stated otherwise. Later the truck stopped running and I had to get it towed back to them. Again they said it was the alternator draining the battery (I already had a suspicion that they crossed the battery cables). I have seen better deals at other stations nearby but sometimes you just need gas and this place is right there. They have snacks and drinks and even some basic groceries and toiletries which has saved me a few times when I needed something quick. The coffee is actually not bad either, way better than I expected from a gas station and they keep it fresh throughout the day. The staff is friendly and helpful. The guy at the register always says hi and is quick with the checkout. They also have an air pump which is free and that is a huge plus because so many places charge for that now. I have used it a couple times and it always works. Now for the not so great parts and why its four stars instead of five. The prices are really the biggest thing, gas is definitely higher here than other places in Arlington. I get that its convenient but sometimes I feel like I am paying extra just for the location. Also the parking lot can get super crowded during rush hour and people are always zooming around in a hurry which makes it a little stressful to navigate. I have seen a few near misses with people backing out with out looking and honestly it gets a little chaotic. The bathroom situation is not great either. I had to use it once and it was not the cleanest, lets just say I held it next time lol. For a busy station in a prime location they could do a better job keeping up with the restrooms.
