I don't know how people can trash talk Wawa or say it's just "gas station food". Not only is their pizza better than most pizza chains like Pizza Hut or Domino's, but they also provide quality customer service. I tried the Dill Pickle Ranch pizza in a personal size and I must say it exceeded any and all expectations. I typically prefer my pizza with red sauce but this didn't have red sauce and the flavor combination was incredible. I'm sad it's available for a limited time. I believe you can also order this as a regular 14 or 16 inch pie. The cashier at this location was wishing every single woman a Happy Mother's Day, which was so sweet. He made sure he asked about my rewards card and scanned it too so I wouldn't miss out on accumulating points. read more

This is my Wawa!!! The best store and manager and friendly workers . They truly care at this store. I'm always greeted and the store is always clean and stocked well. They are the best at making sure their coffees are full and fresh. read more

The gas pumps play advertisements, which means they don't respect your freedom as an individual. Go to a local gas station with lower prices and no advertisements. Additionally, the milkshakes have too much syrup in them to the point that they're unpalatable. read more

The hoagies were horrible here. When I ordered my hoagie and took it home, it was the wrong one and I had already driven home with it and couldn't go back since I don't live close to this location. Only come here a handful of times and wouldn't come back, because each time the hoagies just been eh. I have other Wawa locations that make the hoagies and sandwiches with care and like the people who made them, actually like making the food. read more

Absolutely DISGUSTING. Got a regular iced latte made behind the counter. Threw out my whole lunch read more

Wawa - Rotten strawberries - Convenience Stores Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

rude cashier .in today about 7 ish , picking up dinner and snacks . this is the second time I have had to deal with this lady's attitude. twice ! today I asked in passing " how are you " ; trying to be a pleasant customer .she barfs in a very sarcastic tone " just peachy " .look lady leave you problems at home or be nicer or even fake it but damn it I am spending money in this store ! last time she yelled ( and no not playfully ) " hurry up come over here " .it was 9 at night .no line .what the hell. today also when I paid I owed her a few dollars above a gift card balance .she stood at her register, fuming because I didnt know what she was saying .five bucks! she barked .I went in my purse to get the money but her face , stance , attitude of impatience was clearly evident . I think I will still hit wawa, but not this one . your loss .we shop alot ! read more

I have no problem with this WaWa. It's great. It has what I want when I go there and it's clean. Staff is alright with me too. To WaWa corporate: Last year you made the hoagie rolls smaller. Don't you think for a minute we don't see what you did there. O.o read more

I also feel kind of silly writing a WAWA review. BUT I have to say. I really *heart* wawa! I also find THIS particular wawa has the cheapest gas in the neighborhood ! Parking however SUCKS read more

This review is only for this location's sandwiches/deli. Other than during "Hoagiefest", I think the value isn't there with the amount of meat & cheese you get on their sandwiches/hoagies...and the thin, partial slices of tomatoes we kept getting were ridiculous - why bother? Actually, it seems you have to order & pay for "extra" of everything there in order to get one the way it should be made in the first place!! And who puts American cheese on an Italian hoagie? The girl who made mine here does!!! I also got sweet peppers when I asked for the hot ones & it was very dry when i asked for oil & vinegar. They just always seem to get my orders wrong here...and my family has said the same keeps happening to them. Due to these two issues, I now go elsewhere when we get a craving for good hoagies. read more

This location gets crowded very quickly. There was only one cashier, yet she moved everyone out efficiently. My food was also done super quick; and labeled my quesadilla (since I got a different one than my Mom and Nana). I will definitely be back! read more

Idk what is wrong with these people. Their attitudes are horrible. They act like you're bothering them when you ask them something or to even do their job. I asked the lady that was making the breakfast sandwiches if she could make a pancake one for me. They never have those when I come in. She acted like I was really bothering her and asked her to do something other than her job. So I ordered a breakfast bowl instead and the chick that made that was nasty too. I said thank you and she had a nasty, snooty attitude. These people should not be working in customer service with nasty attitudes like that. I work in a convenience store also and never treat my customers like they're bothering me if they ask for something. Wawa needs to get rid of these people and start all over with new ones. There has been maybe 3 employees that were awesome and the one I never see anymore. I guess she got sick of the bad attitudes also. I'm done coming here. read more

This review is specifically for the Thanksgiving Dinner sandwiches and bowls. Let's just say that there is a secret fat girl inside me who got VERY excited a few weeks ago when she saw The Gobbler sandwich making its seasonal debut. And then I had the turkey and mashed potato bowl...twice in one day. I didn't know I had a Thanksgiving Dinner fantasy hiding inside me but Wawa has helped me realize and exploit this desire. Wonderful! read more

I have to agree with Eric on two points. 1 being that the consistency with the sandwiches is terrible. You'll ask for light mayo and find it swimming in it. What's the point of making it an option if the clerk can't follow the simplest of directions. Other than that I can't complain because it's just merely a convenient place to go if I need something quick and dont want to go to the market. read more

LOVE THE FOOD! All good snacks convenient to go to and fast service. Love the milkshakes and the iced coffee. Especially the soda it's amazing. Good customer service very friendly employes. I will surely be visting this Wawa frequently. read more

I do agree that the consistency of the sandwiches are all over the place sometimes. They also take away the breakfast food before breakfast is over. Other than that I love this Wawa. The food usually is good. The store is clean and the employees are usually nice. The gas is really cheap and the parking is plentiful. Not really sure what the other person was talking about. read more

I'm a big fan of wawa it always comes in handy because it's open late at night and has almost everything and is prepared fast but doesn't taste like shitty Wendy's. However the last time I went there the fairly large man behind the counter made my milkshake wrong and it took him 30 min to make it because he was busy have a conversation with his co workers very loudly about their personal lives, nothing with their job, he then was playing with the straws and cups before he finally began to make my milkshake. All I wanted was a vanilla milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry and I did not receive a cherry however the man behind me who ordered the same thing just a larger size got one. Very upset with the service but I will be returning however I will not order a milkshake if I see that man working. read more

The early morning cashiers are very friendly they greet every customer even when the line is long. Little things like that are appreciated and saying hello and have a nice day is great way to keep people coming back. read more

Let me be perfectly honest, even though this Wawa location is extremely convenient for me because it's located by my daughters school, I rarely go in here. It has nothing to do with parking or gas prices or how they make the sandwiches. The one manager I went to school with and anytime she sees me in the store she will be very rude and very callus towards me even if I have my child with me. Normally something like that will not bother me but at this point it seems that I am being targeted by that manager. The cashiers are nice and the sandwich makers are always on point with what they make. Like all Wawas the food is awesome and the prices are just right. The gas is cheap and except for that manager the staff is very nice. My only concern is that one manager who runs the entire store can not act professionally towards all customers. And she does make sandwiches and she does do cash register duty. Which makes it extra hard for when I do go there because then and only then are my sandwiches made improperly and completely off order or I end up getting rung twice for an item and when I say something I am treated like complete crap. Also anytime she is my cashier and I buy cigarettes I get a lengthy monologue by her about how it is unhealthy and I should just stop. That is not her place to do so. So two stars for the Wawa on Oxford. 2 stars for the good employees who do their job professionally and are nice. And -3 stars for the mean nasty unprofessional manager of that Wawa. read more

Appauling. I was targeted and confronted by a criminal within the Wawa, who was looking to rob someone and told the cashier that I was frightened. the manager never appeared nor showed any interest and the police werent called at any point except by me. I said I was afraid, the staff told me they were not going to get involved. the accomplice of the criminal attacked me as I tried to leave the Wawa, punched me in the face, broke my nose, and tried to take my money before fleeing. I went back in the Wawa and said that I was physically assaulted and for them to call the police. no one in the Wawa seemed to react. I called police twice and while I was waiting for police I was crying. No one from wawa offered ice or any assistance.I had to actually knock on the door of the manager's small office who called wawa headquarters and told me to lower my cell phone conversation with a friend who was going to take me to the hospital. He said he couldnt hear the wawa HQ on his phone. The next day I spoke to the regional manager Ron, who seemed very disinterested and annoyed at speaking with me. he asked me in a sarcastic voice what it was that I wanted him to do about it. Wawa is a heartless company. the Wawa on Oxford Avenue is very dangerous especially for women who are alone. it draws its patrons from some very bad sections of the NE philadelphia although it is located in a fairly nice area. This event changed my life and could have been prevented if Wawa cared about the safety of the people who come into their stores. I would advise people to not go there unless you are willing to use mace and take your chances. Certainly even when wawa staff witness a crime in progress they wont even help a 5 foot 2 inch tiny woman who says she is scared. No help from wawa before during or after. read more

I shop at this WAWA on a daily basis and tonight was my first bad encounter with the deli staff. I never write reviews but tonight I felt the need. The two boys working seemed completely disinterested and did not want to modify any orders. When I brought my medium Mac and cheese home, it was half full. I was so disappointed. after a long night at work all I wanted was to enjoy some of your food. read more
