Wawa has become a viable business presence here in Florida and that is definitely good news for both residents and visitors to the Sunshine State. I have been a longtime family of this gas station brand and coming from the northeast, I was very happy when Wawa started opening locations here in Florida. Just seeing the distinct look of a Wawa finds me often just gearing up to pull in. The gas is always very competitive, but the real reason that myself and others have such an obsession with Wawa is what lies inside the store. The inside has the usual convenience store items that one associates with a gas station, but it is the food counter and the food that they are preparing there that has our hearts. The big thing that Wawa is known for is their subs, which since Wawa was started in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, they call sub sandwiches what they are known for there, they call them hoagies. Whether you want to call them subs or hoagies, Wawa makes a good version, especially when you consider that they come from a gas station. This Wawa has a decent enough vibe for a gas station. All in all, I would definitely recommend this particular Wawa. I will give it five stars overall. read more

I had a really bad experience. On 5/11/26 I purchased regular gas at $4.27 gallon. For $45.00 I got 8.6 gallons. So it cost me $5.23 per gallon, not the $4.27 per gallon listed price. Wawa has always been my go to place for a quick snack or coffee. I've tried most of their hot food items and I had no complaints at all. Their subs (hoagies) are pretty good and very reasonably priced. Yesterday, I decided to try one of their dinner burgers. So I got the "Double French Onion" cheeseburger. While the toppings buns were pretty tasty and fresh (the fries were really good), the beef patties were a total disappointment. They were not seasoned, tasted like cardboard, dry and too spongy. I don't know if they got a bad batch that day or something, but that beef was no good at all. Newer location that opened mid last year. It still has the new look and feel to it. It's at the corner of John Young and Millenia Blvd. This busy corner can cause some issues getting in and out so that's a bit of a downer. Gas prices here are on par with or a little lower than other stations in the area. Selection inside is good. Out of all the Wawa Stations I have been to, this one is the least successful. is in Orlando where there have been for a while, so the stores are not as new and as neat as they are here. In fact, we got a scare with one of our credit card. A particular one was declined both inside and outside. To the point where we had to call thinking fraud was committed on our account. The customer behind us had a similar situation. As far as the banker I talked to, it was a vendor situation. Very inconvenient. The store itself was on the messy side, but it was busy. Ok guys. Sure you're busy. What do you expect?! It's Sunday afternoon in the resort capital of the world. I'm a huge fan of WaWa but so many Florida locations are a mess. Trash everywhere outside around the pumps. The main reason for going to WaWa is the coffee. And here is ANOTHER Wawa with the coffee area under staffed and / or under trained. Most coffee flavors are out. Several are brewed just not up yet. The young lady is obviously overwhelmed with specialty coffee orders. Not my problem. Keep coffee hot and loaded. That a WaWa thing. The coffee station is in disarray, no medium coffee lids, coffee milk sugar trash needs to be cleaned up. Wawa management never replies to negative posts I've found. Disappointing. 2017's Yelp 100 Challenge 24/100 Why is this my favorite WaWa? Cause not only is it conveniently located off the 4 and John Young Parkway, but it's also a nice walking distance from my job! It's always very clean inside, never too busy at the pumps and the customer service is phenomenal! I love the fact that it's on the corner by itself and not flanked by 50 other businesses. I love going to Wawa for more than gas. It's fast, fresh, and friendly! This location on JYP especially so. I like that they have ongoing specials and even offer Diet Green Tea in the case (Wawa brand). They have lots of grab n go options for all meals including fresh fruit. You can order a variety of hot, made-to-order meals from the screen and served quickly when they call your name. Lots of coffee options too, including a variety of milk and milk-substitutes. Fuck This WaWa. The customer service is shitty. They think just because the deli is good and the coffee is cheap, that they can not care about basic common sense. On one occasion, half the gas pumps were out due to "maintenance" but they didnt put any Out of Order signs on it or anything. Numerous customers were pulling up to pumps, just to waste their time. Then Yesterday and today, I stop after work to use the Free Air pump and it's not working. No out of order sign or anything, for two days at least. This close to my job so for the last two months I ordered breakfast at least 3 times a week. My last time when I try to order a particular breakfast item it was missing. I try several times to figure out why I can't find it. I finally give up the search and talk the young person behind the counter and she replied in unhelpful voice that they run out of eggs. Manager Jill is top notch, she is always helping everyone and this store runs very smoothly when she's in. Jaye is a great cashier, always remembers what I get and chats it up while ringing you up. Can get very busy in the 7am-8:30 time slot... but it's the commute. Only downside: free air always has a line, spend a while waiting your turn or spend a dollar at 711 down the road. read more

Ordered a chicken submarine but didn't see an option to toast bread only without toasting the entire sandwich. I walked over to the counter immediately after my slip printed advised Jeann that I would like my bread toasted. I Expressed to her that I didn't see the option for toasting the bread only. This was her response I can't toast it sorry! I said why not? Because it has to state that on your slip or we can't toast it. I go to this location all the time never ever had any issues with changing something so small as just having the bread toasted. I then requested to speak to a supervisor she said ok that's fine I'll get her in a very rude tone. I go over and speak to the supervisor she stated we can't toast your bread because your paying by EBT. I said who told you that she stated Jeann. This employee Jeann automatically assumed I was paying by EBT. She profiled me without even asking me what my method of payment I was using. Yes I looked a little run down. I had just gotten out of work, but for her to profile me was just wrong. Needless to say I was paying by cash and I do not receive food stamps. It was so embarrassing explaining this in front of 8 other customers who was standing around me at that time. This girl Jeann (I am not sure if I am spelling her name correctly) I took a quick glance at her name tag. She needs some serious training before this location gets sued for profiling people based on what they look like, and assuming because your black your paying by EBT. I don't usually post reviews, but my last experience with this Wawas really frustrated me. I ordered Wawas via uber eats as I've done many times in the past without an issue. This time, I received my order and there was a missing/incorrect item. They gave me chicken noodle soup instead of bacon Mac and cheese. I called them to let them know and to see if they had the bacon Mac and cheese so I could come and pick it up instead of reordering it on uber eats to avoid any further issues. The gentleman who picked up the phone told me I was calling the wrong location because they don't, and have NEVER had bacon Mac and cheese (his words not mine). After placing me on hold to check with his employees, he proceeds to tell me there is no way I have chicken noodle soup if I ordered bacon Mac and cheese (thought you said you guys don't, and have NEVER had bacon Mac and cheese?). He blamed it on the uber eats driver, saying they must've picked up the wrong order. I told him that wasn't the case because the bag I received was sealed and had my boyfriends name on it. Then, he blamed it on "2nd shift employees." I told him I was going to reorder it and he hung up in my face before I could ask if they actually had it available.
