I had a very upsetting experience at Wawa while completing a DoorDash order at 590 NE 167th st. This was already a complicated order, but the lack of communication and assistance from staff made it significantly worse. After placing the order, I waited to be called, assuming it was being prepared. I waited for about 30 minutes while watching multiple customers come in and out, placing and receiving their orders from the kiosk. No one ever called my order or checked in. When I finally approached a staff member to ask about the delay, I initially received no response. Eventually, one employee told me that the order had been sitting for a while and was never paid for. This was extremely frustrating, as no one communicated this to me during the entire wait time. I ended up having to unassigned the door dash order, which directly affected my DoorDash deliveries for two customers. This caused unnecessary delays and impacted my work. While one employee apologized, another staff member simply told me to "just reorder" instead of offering any real help or taking accountability for the situation. If the team was truly sorry, they would have assisted me directly instead of sending me back to the kiosk after I had already waited so long. Overall, I felt dismissed and poorly treated, as if my time and work didn't matter. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and avoidable with better communication and customer service. Regardless of the requirement to reorder at the kiosk, the manner in which this situation was handled was unprofessional and should be reviewed and addressed. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff responsiveness and accountability, especially when dealing with delivery drivers who are working under time pressure. read more

I go here often. I just go for gas which is typically never a problem but they NEVER have paper for receipts outside. I always have to go inside. On this last occasion the pumps with 91 were not working. I was a bit disappointed because the main reason I go to Wawa is to get the 91. read more

I went in to grab some food. It was simple Mac and cheese. I ordered it at kiosk and waited. 2 girls inside the counter were making sandwiches and wraps. They were wearing gloves but no masks. Nowadays I know masks are not mandatory. But talking while you are preparing food? I don't think so. Also they were talking non stop, orders took forever. This is the most disappointing Wawa and is nothing like any of their other locations. Food is hardly ever fresh if it's out at all for the fast grabs by the register, the beer fridge is always locked and have to wait for the cashier to leave her register to open it, even though a security guard just sits on her phone next to it. Lines are always long as team members just sit around and talk instead of opening up a second register. Bums are always in the parking lot begging for money. Yo. Im from Virginia, i loveeeee Wawa, theyre on every corner up there. This Wawa sucks!! The food service girls are always rude AF! Ask a question they pretend as if they dont hear you then after u repeat yourself they answer with an attitude. Throw subs on the counter in a pile while barely announcing the order number. Then, they talk maddd shit under their breath! I come to this location alot since its right by my job but im never ordering food again. I rather not deal with those stank attitudes. The cashiers are always nice but slow, lines too long and moving with no urgency. There are people confused all around the store and no one to help. I am so glad this Wawa location opened a couple of months ago. I know of them due to road trips to Orlando. To call them a gas station and convenience store, which they seem to be- is a huge dis service to them. They have a huge variety of made to order drinks sandwiches and meals available, and fast. The only thing I did not love of theirs was a broccoli soup once. Everyone has their own preferences. I cannot resist going in a couple of times a week for a soft pretzel. Not sure if this was just an off night or something, but this place was horribly understaffed and the worst part is everyone was into their robotic routines with zero eye contact, or willingness to help any of the customers. Also, for some reason, unlike other locations this Wawa had absolutely no signage anywhere! When I finally got the attention of one of the staff members, she directed me to an area where I waited for help to come for five minutes before giving up and asking another staff member what was going on. This time I was pointed to a completely different area of the store. While I stood there once again not getting any service, I noticed there was one lady that was frantically running all over the store and concluded that she was the manager. Watching her, I suddenly understood why the rest of the associates were so completely clueless. Instead of training her staff properly and delegating orders, she just chose to run the entire store by herself. What a mess! I've never seen a Wawa so poorly managed!! I was in a rush to fulfill a promo order which was added to my delivery to my route and was furious when it was reassigned to another driver. I was closely watching the time and it took 38 minutes for me to receive an order containing a sandwich and a few smoothies. Food staff is the most degrading people I have ever came across attitudes like no other they talk under there breath where you can almost hear what they say. They are so rude. Gas staff were very nice. If they are not happy they should leave. I will absolutely never return to this station. I just spent 30 dollars on two sandwiches and a shake ended up leaving the shake cause I was mortified. After spending nearly 400 dollars gassing up my boat. I will NEVER return to this establishment. They need a lot of training. When I advised the supervisor he kindly refunded me the panini they all of a sudden didn't have after waiting 15 min after my other sandwich was given. Supervisor just looked down as if he already knows but can't stand up to them cause he is scared. Either quit or your job to the best of your ability. This wawa could have been a 5 stars if it wasn't for the place being so dirty. I usually love going to wawa because it is so organized and tidy but this wawa is very messy.
