I recently visited the Aventura location for the first time and was interested in trying their burger and fries. Bought it to-go because it was during my work dinner break. They also have a kiosk to purchase with card-only. While entering their establishment, they had a lot of tables inside. They also have tables and chairs available outside as well. Their custard milkshake was soooo good! I definitely need to try their other flavors of custard milkshakes. Their BurgerFi Cheeseburger really hit the spot. The meat was cooked just right! Visiting from out of town, my wife and I craved a simple but good burger. Not to be found here. Our burgers were overcooked to the point of basically being dried up hockey pucks. The toppings--veggies and dressing--were almost nonexistent. As in, the added mayo was a barely visible three dots. We could not tell any difference between the regular burgers on mine and the Waygu on hers. And, the chocolate shake had soooo much chocolate syrup it was almost too sweet to swallow. We should've just gone to Burger King, for half the price. Never going here again, and probably will avoid the whole chain. Truly shocked how bad the food was. read more

There's a reason why when I want to splurge on calories, this is my chain burger place. After a bunch of sixteen hour workdays this week (and that I'll be fasting & running tomorrow) I stopped here. Still I changed it up, going for their "Fied Chicken Burger". I've enjoyed their burgers - both the classic ones and "Breakfast All Day" previos other times but wanted to feel "healthy" and ordered the chicken burger. Shanika and her crew were wonderful in attention and timeliness. First, she took all my culinary nuances - no pickles, no onions, add bacon and cheese, no mayo add bbq sauce - to serve a tasty fried chicken sandwich that was more chicken than breading and larger than the bun. Extra bbq sauce for the fires? Delivered! Oh and since I was in cheat meal mode, I ordered a strawberry shake light on the sprinkles. My sweet tooth was very happy, especially that she even added a hint of banana as requested. For that level of attentiveness and friendly service, 5 stars are definitely deserved. read more

This location never disappoints! I will preference that you should bring your own cleaning supplies. I didn't see anybody walking around wiping down tables, but it was also very dead. We got a double bacon cheeseburger with the BurgerFi sauce on the side. We always get the fry and onion ring combo, with our fries we loaded with parmesan which is our favorite and the onion rings we got a cheese dipping sauce. We love this spot! always come here after going kayaking because they're fast, the food is always delicious, and the service is great. I sat outside because as someone else observed the dining room is like eating in a meat locker. The CEO Burger was lackluster. I asked if I could pick a temperature for my burger and was told "all of our burgers are cooked medium. My burger was Waaaaay over cooked (it was well done at best maybe a little over) and kind of bland even with all the aioli and bacon jam accoutrement. The fries were an additional disappointment; maybe I should have requested fresher fries. It's a sad state of affairs when the best part of your meal is the fountain drink! I personally think they're overpriced especially considering you have to purchase the fries separately. The french fries always looks old and stale, especially the small bits, once you get to the bottom of the carton container but the burgers (at least beyond burgers) are always the best and flavorful... that's the only reason why I keep coming back. This was my first visit to a BurgerFi. As a restaurant manager I can say this location failed on nearly every single mark. I'll start with the most important person for the face of the hospitality business, the cashier. Her attitude was about as salty as the fries. I overheard her telling a guest who asked if they had any more ketchup, "go fill it up yourself". Then, berate her co-worker on expo calling him an idiot. Then, when I asked for a cup she snipped, "for what?" Um... water. Because the place was on 30 minute ticket times? Her reply was an astonishing, "I better not catch you filling up with anything else!" Not to brag, but I came in here with a button up shirt and slacks. I have been to other burgerFI's before and they had an area where you can add more lettuce, tomatoes, mushrroms, cheese etc. this one did not have it but it could also be due to coronavirus.. Horrible experience. I have no desire to return. Service experience was a ZERO. I ordered on the app at 12:13p. It said that my order should be ready at 12:28p. I got there early, at 12:18p. No other customers were in the store. I told the gentleman working behind the counter my name and that I was picking up. He checked the order board but didn't say anything to me. After standing there a minute or so, he inaudibly mumbled that it would be a couple minutes, without even looking at me. I wasn't even sure he was talking to me, but no one else was there. That it wasn't ready was not my issue because I was early. His lack of clear communication was. But I sat down and waited. Meanwhile, the Regional Manager was on the phone with someone complaining about the amount of ice in her drink and her burgers being like a hockey puck. I learned that the drivers prepare the delivery drinks, not the store. One other female customer came in and ordered at the kiosk. Then another gentleman ordered at the counter. By now it was 12:31p and I was still waiting. No other customers came in during this 13 minute span. I also did not see any delivery orders get prepared and placed in the holding area. One burger in an empty restaurant should not take that long, so I went to the counter to ask about my order. He looked at an order that had just come out and read the name, as if it could be mine. It was a female name, for the person that came in way after I did. I told him my correct name and said I already mentioned it to him when I first got there 13 mins prior. My bag was there behind the counter. He didn't even tell me or call my name. Not sure how long it was there but it was warm when I got home, so likely not THAT long. But it was SO dry. I know why the person on the phone said that theirs were hockey pucks. My burger felt like it was cooking for 15 full minutes and all the juice rendered out of it. Burgers should not take that long. Not in an empty establishment. Orders should be delivered or announced when ready. Hockey pucks do not belong between buns. 0 out of 5. I do not recommend. read more
