I'm a huge fan. Yes it's a gas station but it's a lot more The sandwich shop inside is top notch. I usually get some kind of hot beef sandwich and it always delicious. I've been there with other and they have gotten cold subs and raved about it. I'm surprised to have found a Wawa here in Miami. I've never been to one of these, but I've heard through all the hype that everyone loves Wawa. I had to check it out for myself since my car was being serviced nearby. First thing I saw at this Wawa location was cheap gas. At $2.35/gallon, it seems to be near the same price as a Costco gas station. That'll stick with me whenever I'm near to a Wawa. As I walked in, I found a spotless, well-kept, organized, and spacious convenience store with a food station on one side that serves breakfast and lunch all day. Ordering food here was very Panera-like in the fact that I placed my order on a kiosk and that my meal was highly customizable. After submitting my order, I walked with ticket in hand over to the far side to pay the cashier and then walked back over to the food station. I waited about 5 minutes for my sourdough omelette sandwich (only $5.99) and then an additional 5 minutes for my 16 oz cold brew foam latte ($3.39). Both my sandwich and cold brew coffee were decent and well-worth the price. The sandwich was fairly massive and came with egg, bacon, spinach, garlic aioli + avocado spread. It tasted fresh and somewhat healthy-ish. The cold brew latte was a bit light in color visually, but I'm just glad it tasted better than expected. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from a Wawa coffee. They serve some other Starbucks-like coffees here as well. Seating is available outside with 3 sit-down tables and 2 stand-up tables. I was able to grab a standing table, but it was a little difficult to eat there because of all the flies buzzing around. Overall, would I ever come back to this place? Yes, I certainly would because of 1) cheap gas 2) cheap breakfast 3) decent coffee. It's very clean here and definitely not your typical gas station. read more

I've been watching this Wawa take shape for quite some time and am glad the doors finally opened! My friends from the Northeast have sung its praises for so long and I was anxious to see what the hype is all about. In general, I'll admit Wawa has a lot going for it. From the outside, it looks like a normal gas station. There are plenty of pumps and regular gas was only $1.99 for opening weekend, but don't expect that to last. Inside is what really sets it apart from the others gas stations along Coral Way. Wawa is known for their hoagies (or subs). You order on a tablet, pay at the cashier, and it'll be ready for you within minutes. They come in three different sizes and there are a variety of hot/cold options. We tried one meatball and one Cuban. I was actually impressed by the Cuban (especially considering Palacio de los Jugos is just across the street). It was stuffed with shredded pork but not pressed like a traditional Cuban. The meatball was pretty good, too. The toasted roll really amped them up. At the tablets, you can also order things like breakfast burritos, club sandwiches, quesadillas, mac n' cheese, soup, salad, milkshakes, and more. I'm sure we'll make our way through the menu in no time. Besides that, there's so much food for sale, including staples from PA that transplants will be happy to find. There's also a very large walk-in beer fridge, ventanita for coffee, hot empanadas, other fingers food, so many drinks... You get the picture. Overall, color me impressed! Went inside for a chicken breakfast burrito and a bacon Mac and cheese panini. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon at 11:30am. All the aisles look clean and well organized and fully stocked, I didn't speak to any Wawa employees but they all seemed very productive. No lines. Great job keep it up! read more

I've always loved Wawa when visiting the Tampa area. They make this tasty thanksgiving hoagie every year with stuffing that I make it a point to get. I had a very unpleasant experience at store # 5359 , on Thursday 9/28/2023 at 5:30pm. On my 15 hour of an 16 hour shift, I went by to purchase a cup Hazelnut coffee to make it through the day. I was informed by the employee that they didn't have certain coffee after 4pm and she couldn't make me any hazelnut coffee for me. I asked her to get the manager and Asst. General Manager Paola came out and stated the same policy that wasn't posted anywhere. I asked Ms. Paola could they brew me some hazelnut coffee, she replied it would be waste because i am only one person and they'll have to discard the coffee after 2 hours. So i asked her who determined the select few flavors that were out , she didn't answer. I left and contacted Wawa customer service and they gave me a 5$ gift card and took my statement. and informed me that the coffee should've been made, first informing me that it would take 5 minutes to brew. I went here to get a late night meal for my daughter. My boyfriend ordered on one machine while my daughter and I ordered on another to make the process quicker. We thought it would be convenient as a late night stop. We ordered chicken strips and fries for her, a quesadilla for me and a turkey club for my boyfriend. While we waited we got some snacks and drinks. After we paid, we waited by the concession for our food to be prepared. We waited and waited and waited. My boyfriend walked away for a moment and his number was called. We didn't have his ticket so when he returned The man behind the counter had an attitude when we asked if he had called his number. We waited again. Finally our ticket number was called for me and my daughters food. We retrieved our food and proceeded to wait for the sandwich. I happened to look behind the counter about 10 min later and noticed a sandwich sitting there with mu boyfriends ticket number and told the man that was mine and we were told it was not prepared yet it's just sitting there. He never apologized but said yes it's been sitting here a while. I took the sandwich and went home which was less than a 15 min drive. My daughters food was hard as a rock when we got home and she couldn't even eat it. I tried calling to notify them but I only got a voicemail. I would not recommend. This place has terrible service and the food is absolute trash. Save your money unless you want snacks but don't let anyone prepare food for you. You're better off without it. read more

The first couple times I got gas here everything was great. But after being told by the cashier that "You don't have to come back" I will certainly follow that advice. The first time I tried to pump gas, the hose hit the wrong gas type button so I cancelled. The second time, no gas came out. Then they cancelled my attempt at a third try and told me to go inside. I told the guy what happened and that this isn't the first time this has happened. He told me I didn't have to come back. So when I went back outside after switching pumps and once again, the swinging hose hit the wrong type of gas, I will certainly follow his advice. I will never be back. If he had shown even an ounce of professionalism and said, "I'm sorry, is there anything we can do to help," I might have had a different reaction. But instead I, and you all too, should go to a different gas station since they obviously don't care about having broken equipment. read more
