Not usually one to review fast food spots, but what better time to write one than the day after the long awaited return of the McDonald's Snack Wrap. I had been counting down the days until July 10 like it was a national holiday. I was so excited to finally get my hands on one again just like the good old high school days. But sadly, that nostalgia came with a side of disappointment. Maybe it's inflation, maybe it's just bad luck, but my snack wrap had one lonely, tiny piece of chicken inside. After waiting several minutes, I decided to go inside to retrieve my order, thinking it would be faster and more efficient. When I walked in, I was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty--no customers inside, no rush, just three employees casually standing at the front counter. I explained to the cashier that I had placed a mobile order for drive-thru pickup and that the drive-thru wasn't moving. I politely asked if he could just grab the order so I didn't have to continue waiting in the non-moving line. His response left me absolutely stunned. He flat-out said, *"I'm not going to walk to the back to get it."* I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing. I pointed out that the place was empty, that there were no other customers, and that three employees were just standing around. Still, he repeated himself and refused to help--he wouldn't take a few steps to retrieve a prepaid order simply because it was designated for drive-thru pickup. This wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed or short-handed. It was a clear-cut example of laziness, lack of initiative, and a complete disregard for customer service. The absurdity of being told *"I won't walk to the back"* in an empty restaurant with idle staff is honestly hard to believe. This experience was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable. If mobile orders are offered for drive-thru pickup, but customers are treated like this when they try to get help inside, what's the point? I hope management takes this seriously and addresses this kind of behavior. It reflects very poorly on the brand. read more

Oh, McDonald's...you are a FAST-FOOD restaurant, but yet, the service is SOOOOOO SLOW to the point that there are more people waiting for the food than there are ordering. My coworker and I have dined at this McDonald's two nights in our lifetime and will not be coming back ever again. During both visits, we ordered from the touchscreen self-order area. The restaurant was empty, yet, the food took forever. In the first visit, I ordered large fries and they were stale and cold. In addition, during the last visit on the evening of 11/16/2017, I waited 20 minutes for a burger. A lot of customers were looking at each other thinking what the heck was going on. The service was horrible and there was no word or updates. I kindly asked this young female staff at the cashier that I wanted a refund. She immediately rolled her eyes and gave me an attitude. She shrugged and pointed to an area with bagged food and said, it's ready. I asked her POLITELY how long the food had been there for and why was it just sitting there when it was already ready. She rolled her eyes again and disappeared for a few minutes. She came back with another bag and shoved it in my face. I said, I asked for a refund. She rolled her eyes again and threw the bag on the side with an attitude. In my head, I was thinking, how unprofessional, I was being polite and had asked politely. Finally, I just took the bag and left. McDonald's, you can take my money for the burger, but this was the WORST fast-food service experience ever and I am so grateful that I do not work for you. STAY AWAY from this horrible McDonald's. I have been going to this store for over 26 years, and it has completely gone downhill. I placed an order in the drive-through using the app to get the deal of the day, but when I went to the cashier the number wouldn't work. The cashier was very nice and actually took my phone and figured out how to make things work. However, when I went to the second window to pick up my food, the woman that handed me the bags was very short and rude. She forgot to give me my drink and when I asked for it, she gave it to me with an attitude. Then I proceeded to ask her to fill my fries more because the container was 3/4 full, and she flat out refused and told me I had to leave because I had already delayed the drive-through line enough. She blamed me, literally, for the back-up in the drive-through. (I have a literally waited 30 minutes in the drive-through dozens of times.) Then she proceeded to tell me I must leave and to stop wasting their time. I couldn't believe my ears, so I asked her if I could pull over so she could ask the manager to speak to me. She pulled down her mask and said "I AM the manager." I asked for her name and she told me it was Maria Antonia Gonzalez and that the store owner was named Sonia. I told her she was horribly rude and left as I would never make a scene. I was so offended by this undeserved and unjustified treatment, that I contacted the corporate office and lodged a complaint. Four days later, on a Sunday, I received one missed call from a strange number and then a very generic email apology from the general manager (Sonia) saying she's tried "several times" to contact me. ONE missed call and no voicemail. The email apology was a a cut/paste job. Perhaps they receive so many complaints that they have pre-written responses. She didn't even offer me free fries for my horrible experience. No wonder they have gone downhill. I will never visit this restaurant again. read more

I've always loved McDonalds but this one is the absolute worst. The last few times I came here I got sick to my stomach.. which made me realize it's probably not a coincidence, they're probably leaving things sitting out. Now when I crave McDonalds and those golden chicken nuggets in sweet and sour sauce I get excited, then I pause and cringe. They get your meal wrong all the time and no one wants to get back in that line or go inside to complain and fix it once you leave the drive through line. And even if you order sauce and they list it on your order, they don't actually give it to you unless you remind them again when they're handing you your food.. and those nuggets just aren't very tasty without the sweet and sour. Sometimes in life you just need chicken nuggets. That time typically occurs between the hours of 11 pm - 3 am and can most often be a result of some adult beverages. When I was little, my mom never let us have McDonalds. I have fond memories of my Tia secretly taking us to get happy meals (sorry mom). Maybe those sneaky visits are why I just can't shake my love for the nuggets. This McDonalds is the closest spot for me to indulge such cravings. It's open 24 hours, too. They recently went thru a renovation so there's fancy drive thrus, a pretty sweet facade and ample parking. Overall, it's pretty standard as far as fast food goes. But why two stars? Well, because this McDonalds NEVER gives sauces. This is an issue for me since those fried golden pieces of goodness are meant to be dunked into hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce. Can't mess with a dipping system that's been going strong '88. I'll continue to indulge because like I said, chicken nuggets are just needed sometimes. The drive through confuses me. There are times when certain cravings can only be cured by a happy meal but coming here is definitely a task to say the least. I mean, they're friendly and all but it's always a huge backup and the pay before you go option doesn't seem worth the time. I have to McDonald's app which gets you coupons that are pretty easy to redeem. There's not many in the area due to the residential zones that surround it but it's the gateway to nuggets so you can't deny that. The entrance on the north end is kind of weird because there's two lanes that merge into one and the potholes by the entrance guarantee a sharp turn in. If it's raining, I'm running late, or need that hashbrown to get my juices flowing I'll pass by here. Granted, I need extra time just because the line is always expected. read more

The drive-thru was taking very long. I got out of the line, parked, and went inside to receive my order. There was an employee (Amanda, not a Manager) who was EXTREMELY rude!!! I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. Another employee, Elizabeth, was able to jump in and luckily helped which I appreciated, but unfortunately, Amanda's behavior was UNACCEPTABLE on all levels so I will not be returning and will spread the word. There were several employees working that witnessed and I implore you to get others' stories. The little screen showing your order didn't pop up and the man just sounded clueless, so it was bad from the start. This is the slowest McDonald's in Miami. I've never gotten out in less than 25 minutes - usually more if there is more than 1 car in the DT. I get staffing is a challenge these days but there are certainly many other McDonalds that seem to have figured this out so clearly it's management or the franchisee. Before my review please note it's not about the 3 pennies. It's the principle of the matter. I was on my way home around 1 am and stopped at this McDonald's for coffee, scramble eggs and sausage through their drive through. After placing the order the young man tells me there is no scrambled eggs so i just ordered the coffee with 4 creams. He tells me its $1.07 so i gave him a $1.10 and he gives me a receipt and no change. Now I know and confirmed with the other server that if i didn't have the 3 cents to complete cost of coffee they would not give me coffee than why won't he give me my due change? This is not the only McDonald's this has happened i have been to others that have similar tactics. Is this legal? They are not even asking if i want the 3 cents they are assuming what to do with my money. Then when i asked him for the 3 cents he said he had closed register and couldn't give it to me until he open again for another customer. When driving around the building all the lights were on as if they were open, but once I got to the back of the building that when I saw all the employees outside sitting in chairs that they pulled outside from in the restaurant, and they were smoking.
