Other than that I'll probably continue my search for a good local hot dog joint.

If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.

The dining area was clean and there was no line, just a couple door dashers waiting for their to go orders. I got the number one, spicy, with a side of beans and rice, and an iced tea. Grabbed my cup and filled up at the self serve beverage area, and had a seat for a couple minutes while my food was prepared. It came out piping hot, and wow that sandwich was delicious! Their spicy level isn't enough for me so I got some sides of hot sauce which made it absolutely banging. The beans and rice were good, and the iced tea delicious.
