Within less than a minute, the guy (manager I take it) that was rearranging things on his showroom floor approached me and asked me if I needed any help with anything, to please let him know. Not pushy, but yet wanted to make sure I could find everything I was looking for. Tybee is a friendly place with friendly, laid back people, and this Surf shop fit the mold of a friendly establishment. Needless to say, I bought a shirt that I really didn't need, but the dude was so friendly and helpful that I thought what the hell, let me give back to these local businesses. Store was clean, music not too loud, helpful staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -Burt, Rincon Ga

Anytime we're in need of outdoor or sports gear, this is usually our go-to stop. It's one of those…read moreplaces where you can walk in looking for one thing and end up leaving with a few extra items because they really do have a bit of everything. This time we went in specifically for beach chairs, and the selection was actually better than expected. They had different styles, sizes, and price points, so it was easy to compare and pick what worked best for us. While browsing, we also ended up grabbing sunglasses, so it turned into one of those quick "we'll just take a look" trips that turns into a full cart situation. What stands out about Dick's is how convenient it is to find outdoor essentials in one place. Whether it's beach gear, sports equipment, or casual outdoor items, you don't really need to go anywhere else. It can definitely be a bit pricey depending on what you're buying, but the quality usually matches the price. It feels like you're paying for durability and brands that actually last, especially for outdoor use where it matters more.

Under Armour (UA) is one of our go-to shops in Tanger Outlets and usually our first stop. It's…read moreprobably one of the main reasons for going to Tanger. I think half our wardrobe comes from there, both adults and kids. We always manage to find something there whether we are looking for something or not. In terms of quality, most of their stuff has lasted us all a long time. You also can't beat the prices. They always have really good sales going on and I've been told that their sales can change daily. Most of the time, their clearance items are an additional X percentage off too. - Parking - Located in the Tanger Outlets in Pooler, UA is located around the corner from the lighthouse and the Info center, toward the back of the Outlets by I-95. - Vibe - The store is pretty spacious and not overwhelmingly crammed with merchandise, like most outlet shops. The store has always looked tidy, considering the amount of traffic they get. - TLC - The staff always make it a point to welcome everyone who comes in and has always been courteous and helpful and they do a great job at keeping the store organized and looking neat. - Tip - If you give them your email at the time of purchase, you can get your receipt emailed to you so that you won't ever misplace it in case you need to return something which also reduces paper. Score! They also offer a military discount on top of the sales price which is so awesome and much appreciated! My everyday mom gear consists of mostly t-shirts and yoga pants and because of their quality and styles, UA doesn't make me feel bad about it. They make comfortable look good! Haha, that's sounds like a commercial, but it's true!

Dick's had put out a flyer offering 2 types of Schwinn bikes at 50% off. The problem is their website and store didn't have the same offer. After contacting their customer service, I had a note offering a "price match" in which they honored the 50% price. A special call-out to Chris Campbell, one of their service technicians, who did an excellent job adjusting the gears and brakes during the safety check. He did a great job explaining the safe operation and maintenance of the bike. As a precaution, I took out their warranty for the free tune up and safety inspections. Check out was quick and easy.
