I was very sad when PlainView closed up, so it's good to see another authentic skate shop open. And the Clockwork Savannah location has the ultra-clean, bright, look and atmosphere of the Macon store plus the same sense of style in its well-curated selection of sneakers--something the Macon store long has been known for, I mean, you here of people trekking down form Atlanta to Macon to cop new sneakers at Clockwork, so they're pretty infamous in that regard. They also have a decent selection of clothing from brands like Diamond, Thrasher, HUF, and now some really sweet tees from Welcome Skateboards. And of course they have lots of decks--including Welcome's great, somewhat odd, throwback vert-looking ones--and skate trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware. Their shoe selection includes Nike SB, adidas, Converse, and Vans for skating plus Asics and Saucony throw-back designs. The staff is really chill and friendly, too. Certainly a big and necessary addition to Savannah's growing youth culture scene--very glad they're here.

During my adventuring my friends and I rented several wetsuits, surf boards, and paddleboards from Air. There are not many locations in the greater Charleston/ Mt. Pleasant area area that rent wet suits, but I'm glad we found Air. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They answered our questions, helped us secure the gear to our car, and even let us borrow some extra cables. The gear itself, especially the wetsuits, were all high quality items and in excellent condition. And because we were renting in the off season, we were offered some great long term/ group rental discounts. Surfing at folly beach and isle of the palms was excellent, and Air made it all possible.

I did not find them to be more expensive than any other shops I have been to. It all seemed fairly priced and they have gone above and beyond what was asked. If you want to do it correctly and do not know what you are doing with your bike, others may want to cry about it but that wont adequately fix it. As far as their "Sobar", it is super chill and 80's night was busy and fun. They had snacks and such floating around too and my lil one had a blast. Cannot imagine why someone would rate them below 5 stars - you gotta be mad at the world.
