Iced NorEaster
Nathan V.

Hands-down, the best coffee and bakery and all of Hatteras. My family and I go camping here every other year and this was my first time going here. I rode my bike down here and got coffee. It's really easy to access and get into and when you're in there, it feels like you're in a little souvenir shop but then at the same time in the back there's a bakery and a coffee shop. Their drinks are so good. I've been here every single morning, and I have got the iced caramel macchiato the iced nor'easter and the Sandy Latte coffee. The workers are very nice polite, patient and respectful. These workers know what they're doing and they make the best coffee around.

Sugar Kingdom - The floor of this store was really cool

They had the most salt water Taffy. They also had like two aisles of flavors to choose from. I got a box of it which is almost gone. The floor in this place is tie-dye colored which is really neat. They also have an assortment of chocolate pretzels, different kinds of chocolates and Ice Cream! My favorite taffy from there was: Carmel, Butterscotch, Vanilla, Candy Corn, Cinnamon, birthday cake, grape, watermelon, banana strawberry, and cherry. I might stop by again before we head home to Michigan. I also bought a t-shirt and a bathing suit cover up and two bumper stickers. I can't imagine how a child must feel when they walk in the door of this place! They even have candy from when I was little which is hard to find anywhere else. The people behind the counter were really friendly. There was one teenager (I think) that was doing stock for more clothing. He was wearing headphones that was rude to me when I asked him a question. Employers shouldn't allow workers to wear headphones when they are working. Anyways... this place is definitely worth every dollar I spent on candy and so on! Wish we had a place like this in Michigan.

The store was so…read morecute and clean but we stayed on track with getting our treats and heading back to meet the rest of the family where we enjoyed a little tasting of six kinds of fudge! Chocolate Cheesecake: a lot less sweet than most - big win in my opinion Birthday Cake: the kids loved it but the sweetness level was too much for the adults. Flavor was on point though! Cookies & Cream: huge hit with the family! Exactly what you would expect of it. Butterfinger: should've asked for extra, this went QUICK. Snickers: seemed like classic chocolate fudge with peanuts and caramel on top. This was one of my favorites because it was simple and delicious. Peanut Butter: you can never go wrong with the classics. This was made perfectly! The fudge was excellent and great quality. I don't recall the name of the person I spoke with but she seemed to be the owner and quite invested in this work. She made excellent suggestions and her sweets were made perfectly.

We were looking for souvineers as well as street signs with names on it. didn't find those, but did find a lisence plate! purchased that, as well as an ornament, a magnet, and a bottle opener! For ice cream, They had hersheys ice cream, and i ordered a cotton candy in a cup, my dad ordered chocolate in a cone, and my mom ordered banana crunch in a cone. we all enjoyed our ice cream. There are tables outside to enjoy your ice cream at. Employees were friendly and very nice! Thanks for being a part of my vacation!

I know I had been here before, but according to this, never got around to reviewing it. Glad I got…read moreto stop back in on my most recent visit. I'm glad I did too, because my recollection of this place was a bit off. My last visit here, I thought it was packed to the rafters with candy. Nothing but candy. I'm happy to have been proved wrong. Don't worry, my main focus in here was the candy. I did browse here to see what they had for purchase outside of the candy realm. There area a lot of amazing shirts here. Shirts that you won't see elsewhere. Then there is a whole section for nothing but items for your pets. But back to the candy. Do you know, I purchased a few thing from the counter and completely forgot about them until I returned home. I mean, I didn't completely forget them, or they would have been melted messes, but I did not eat them there and held off until I got home. Customer service here was amazing, but the chocolate outshone everything else. One item I got was their big version of a peanut butter cup. This thing was solid peanut butter meltaway bliss. A ton of sweetness that was absolutely worth the wait. And to say I was slobbering as I was wolfing this down is an understatement. I also got a Reese's Pieces chocolate covered pretzel. The candies kept falling off, but were little pieces of heaven to finish afterwards. Then, the star of this show, the Peanut Butter S'more. I'm not one that seeks out marshmallow, but this thing hit. Taking a s'more and just covering it completely with chocolate is one thing, but adding in peanut butter took this to another level. Definitely worth the wait if you buy it and forget it. Like you rewarded yourself.

The mass produced, prepackaged bag you get at the grocery store is much better. And cheaper! Spent $35 on taffy for gifts and it's awful. Store is clean and bright and the staff is friendly.
