Stopped by this place for the first time during our yearly summer vacation in Avon ---more out of curiosity of what they did to honor the alien spaceship that was in place for so many years----our kids loved just seeing that place! Good to see they have done great job with the alien theme---kudos to the owners keeping that tradition alive and well. Worth a stop just for that! Now....while I only tried a coffee I would would give it two thumbs up.....not you Folgers or Maxwell house brown water but a good healthy coffee! Again....worth a stop! read more

Coffee was good! The vibe inside definitely fits the name. There was a long line, but it moved quickly. We would stop in for a coffee if we were in the area. Parking wasn't bad for how busy they were. read more

Loved this little coffee shop! The staff was incredibly friendly, there is a cat, the area inside has swing seats and greenery. Their coffee was delicious and worth the price. They did have different Google Hours posted verse when they were actually opened though. We tried to go two days in a row because Google had them as opened, but when we arrived they were closed with no cars in sight. Regardless, third time was the charm and they were opened on our third attempt! read more

Alien Java - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Frisco, North Carolina

This place is adorable! The owner did an amazing job fully encompassing the alien vibes throughout every aspect of the coffeeshop. The good news is the drinks are just as good! I went with the nutty martian latte iced and the owner made it half sweet for me which was really kind of her. The coffee was so smooth and delicious. I even told my husband "this is my definition of a perfect coffee". He got a plain black coffee and said it was great. So good, we went back the next day. Overall so yummy. If you're in the area, you have to give Alien Java a visit! read more

Alien Java - The Purple Haze on Titan - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Frisco, North Carolina

This was, hands down, the best coffee shop experience I've had in the Outer Banks! The baristas were incredibly friendly and efficient. My latte came out quickly, and it had just the right amount of strawberry that I needed for my morning. The coffee shop itself lived up to its name with lots of unique, alien-related decorations in the front, while the rest of the shop was covered in greenery. All in all, the whole place had a very cute charm to it. I'll be sure to come back the next time I stay in the Outer Banks! read more

This was a "new to us" coffee stop in the Outer Banks, and what a pleasant surprise. The cafe itself is also a gift shop, with some really neat local artist works and eclectic finds. The coffee was delicious, and we split a cheese danish which was amazing. I had the IO iced latte with cayenne and cinnamon, such an interesting and delicious combo. What a cool new business for Frisco! I'm not even a coffee drinker and I absolutely love this place. The fruit refresher that I got was delicious and I was so happy to hear that it was made from truly fresh ingredients. My husband loved his coffee and my kids loved their coffee drinks and the treats they got there from Scatchmade Snackery. But what I love the most is that it's a funky, warm, and welcoming coffee shop that offers so much more. They have jewelry and some clothes and lots of cozy seating. Love love love this place and will definitely be back every year. read more
