Such a hidden gem! For the last two years, we have picked up a key lime pie for dinner and WOW.. just WOW. Best key lime pie! It does come at a high price, I believe it's $28 and the pie is relatively small. It is so good though, really worth the drive. The bakery opens at 11AM, I arrived at noon and they had one key lime pie left! I highly recommend getting there early if you're going specifically for this pie! read more

Y'all, this bakery is the best, a must do in Avon. Multiple gluten free items, which is always a nice surprise. The blonde was absolutely delicious, and made with almond flour. We got chocolate cupcakes, which were also GF. My husband was skeptical because he doesn't care for most GF items. These cupcakes were amazing and both kids were surprised they were GF. This place is awesome! They do some excellent work. The peanut butter pie is not to be missed! Went in there today looking for some fresh bread...was hoping to make a Muffuletta. They had this beautiful European style sourdough. It's denser than focaccia, but it was perfect! Had to grab a chocolate and peanut butter cream filled cookie sandwich...had to...never heard of such a thing! I want another one right now Muffuletta turned out perfectly! Wonderful! We were created with a smile and eagerness to help. We arrived towards the end of the day so there wasn't a huge selection but what we did get was AWESOME! We purchased bloodies (which my husband gobbled up) and a flourless chocolate torte (yaaaaaas). We also got a key lime pie for Mother's Day. Haven't dug into it yet but it looks promising. Absolutely amazing desserts and treats - it's a must try. We came by with a craving of key lime pie and wouldn't have guessed they had some that were JUST baked and still setting. Tried it that night and it was probably the best key lime pie I've ever had. The consistency and sweet and sour balance was perfection. And the whip cream on top was homemade. We also got two cookie cup treats and a red velvet cupcake - all delicious! Worth a trip back to Avon, NC. read more

What a fabulous bakery! The inside of the store is exceptionally clean, a bit spartan in appearance. Don't let let that distract you from the main attraction - many delicious treats! Stopped in right before closing and so glad we did! I had an almond blondie that was melt in your mouth. My husband had chocolate everything cookies that he said were rich and buttery. Prices were very reasonable and I recommend anyone coming through the area to stop in. read more
