I agreed to the price and waited 4 weeks for the part to come in and the repair to be completed. They then charged me $1500. for that repair, handed me the paperwork after they had swiped my cc through the machine. I immediately told them I was over charged, I had been quoted $1000. for the intake manifold repair. The tech Brian told me I would have to discuss with Mark, who wasn't there. I've left letters in the drop box and left vm messages, no one returns my calls. (They did work on another vehicle of mine 2 years ago, almost $4K worth of work on Chevy Colorado.) No longer giving them any more business. Update after speaking with Mark the owner, 5/8/2024. Mark called a few days after I picked up the vehicle. Claims the "repair was a nightmare". All kinds of rust on the intake manifold bolts, 6 of the 8 bolts were rusted out and broke when he tried to remove them. He said the job should have taken him 3 hours but instead it took him 9 hours.(Really???) I told him as a customer who was given an estimate of $1000. for a repair only to be charged 50% more, I was not happy, he should have had a better idea of the condition of the vehicle and the cost to repair (Initially, I had left the vehicle at the shop, he looked the vehicle over and also diagnosed the check engine code issue and that it needed an intake manifold.) I told him given the estimate of $1000., then overcharge of $500., he had lost a customer.

Long story short, I get back from my business trip to find that our minivan now has nicer - more expensive tires than our sporty BMW sedan... They first closed the door on my face while I was talking to them. Once they finished, he just said "It's 35 dollars", so I took out my debit card, and he said "only cash". I don't like that they say that after serving, I was lucky that I had cash, but I even told him that they should say that at the beginning. He argued that there was a sign on the front of the garage. Ok, I paid in cash and went outside and hardly found the small sign within some other big signs. I went into my car, and I saw that the inspection was rejected... They didn't tell me anything about it! They usually repair what they need, or something. One light wasn't working and something with the exhaust. I went back into the place to ask about that, but he wasn't very helpful or nice, again. Nasty experience at something that could be done anywhere! It doesn't worth.

There's a gas station down the street that is also full service and a few cents cheaper but their service is nothing like here. They wash your windows while pumping your gas. They are friendly, polite. Once I went to fill my tires and the guy came out and did it for me. I didn't even ask or think about it. They are all just good employees. I have never waited too long there. Quick service. They have good gas too because it doesn't burn fast.

Being rushed out without properly doing your safety checks and wearing your seat belts can cause safety hazards. This gas station needs to learn the proper etiquette in running a gas station in the United States. The owner or his son is being too profit driven and its scarcity mindset, risking customers/drivers' safety.
