I called because we couldn't get our Yellowjacket issue under control and the bees were getting into my house! I prepared for the worst, opening walls, reconstruction, etc. The technician, Tom, came out and managed to kill the nest with no damage to my home interior. Immediately the bees were "gone". I used Waverly Pest Control to take care of a nasty yellow jacket issue on my property. The owner Mike, is the person who has performed the work at my property several times. He first removed a small nest with expert precision. I signed up for a package deal because nest removal was included in the package and you're covered for however long you sign up for. A few days later, an even bigger nest showed up in the ground near my front walkway. Mike, once again carefully removed over 10 pounds of yellow jacket nesting material and eliminated the threat quickly and efficiently. They are always very responsive when you need them, and communicate very efficiently with their customers. read more

Waverly Pest Control is a waste of time. Their mouse traps and mice poison does not work. I have had their mouse traps and the mice run right by it. I have actually seen this happen. The tiny holes for those traps are too small and the poison has no scent that mice are attracted to. I put down regular glue traps with a pinch of oeanut butter and honey and my mouse problem ended. Besides the worker never asked where I saw mice coming from. Mice come from wholes (like heat convectors, radiators, and sinks.). Besides, there is a closed laundry where most of the mice reside. The laundry always had pipe leaks. I cannot see why this company is still functioning. read more

mike and his crew are always helpful and attentive to what I need. I am allergic to bees and Mike has been spraying my house since 1999. If I have a troublesome spot he returns to spray again. Having a surprise when we were putting a new roof on we thought we had termites. Waverly came to our property within 24 hours. They inspected and said it was carpenter ants and they did not need treatment as the roofer destroyed their nest. There was no charge for any of this . He was honest , since we would have agreed to treatment not knowing how to proceed. I would highly recommend this company on the basis of integrity and good customer service! read more

The customer service of this company, Waverly Pest Control, is completely unreliable. We had a 10am appointment at my property in Hyde Park. By 11am no one had showed nor called. When I spoke to the receptionist I got a long winded story about someone being sick, and mistakes were made. No problem, it happens. She then said someone "would be there at 1pm for sure." So I waited. At 1:30 no one showed. I called. She said "He's 16 minutes out on GPS!." I waited another 30 min and no one showed. On my way out--I had to get back to work having already taken a HALF DAY OFF for a no show--(and being at my property for 4 hours) I called to say I had to leave. Since that time... all their communications were "You couldn't wait around for us!" which is invariably what they'll say in response here. The next day I received a lengthy email about other things the owner was doing, how disrespectful I was of the fact that "people get sick and mistakes get made" etc etc. Over the weekend the owner emailed a long message saying he himself would do the job at 10am on Monday. I'm typing this review at 11am on Monday, and 1. he hasn't show up, 2. the receptionist said "He was awaiting a confirmation text from you" and hung up on us, now won't pick up the phone. I would use anyone BUT Mike and the Waverly pest control company. Terrible. read more

Had to call Mike twice about two separate problems. One was bees that were nesting in the front of the house. We could not even go in and out without risking being stung. They came quickly and explained what they were going to do and they solved the problem. We got our house back. Flash to winter and we had some form of rodent get into our attic. It sounded like they were playing touch football in ski boots above our head. once again, they came quickly and showed me the spots to seal up so they could not get in again and explained how they may have gotten in. Thank you we can sleep at night again. If you have any problems from insect to rodent, they handel it efficiently and expediently call them you will be happy with the results. read more

Mike went over and above all expecations. I had a huge hornet infestation in my bathroom and Mike came over right away and was able to find the nest (it was in a horrible corner of the roof) and start taking care of the issue right away. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and told me to check in with him. He actually checked in with me and when I needed him to come back he was there that same day. They are the pest control choice of my landlord. I have a carpenter ant issue. He put down some new bait traps, sprayed around a bit and that was all he was willing to do. Part of that is probably the owner's lack of wanting to pay for anything further. But the issue I had with the representative of Waverly (Wappinger Falls NY office) is that he didn't pay attention while spraying and hit all of my paper products (plates, cups, foil) along with a pizza pan that was sitting on the shelves of a microwave cart. He stated "but it looked like it had a back" which is no excuse, especially since he also sprayed right behind my bottled water and where I had boxes of personal items. It was totally careless. He did pay me $20.00 to cover the replacement of the items I had to throw out. He was also rather nosy, and didn't listen to a thing that I said about the carpenter ant issue and I ended up repeating myself several times. read more
