Recommend Highly on All Counts Called on Thursday as we had occasional appearances of Juvenile Roachs in our Kitchen, they offered a appointment the very next day . We deffered to this morning due to other conflicts. Their technition Mauro arrived on time and did a comprehense treatment all the while entertaining my non stop questions about the problem and treatment. He left me feeling the optimal remedy had been performed and more likely than not the problem had been eliminated. Both he and the folks I spoke with in the office were polite and helpful. A Few years prior I had used A1 to kill off a yellow jacket nest that had infiltrated our basement, and in that case I was extremely happy with their service. We recently discovered a mouse and where there is one, there are usually more on the way. So I called a few pest services to see who could assist. I was looking for a service that could not only catch the little critter but also help us with preventative measures to avoid more coming. The number of orgs in the area who wanted to sell me on a year-round service plan was astounding. Not A1. A1 was the only service I found who was willing to come out, treat the problem, help us with preventative measures, and we all moved on. Steve was excellent in helping us deal with mice in our home. Not only is he incredibly friendly and caring, but he is very thorough in looking at every element of the house. He was quickly able to locate the source of the mouse entry points and even replaced the dryer vent for us as it was a main one. I like how it's a single cost for 3 visits to solve the problem, check the traps, monitor activity, and then from there you have good quality options if you feel more service is needed. We called Terminix with a wasp problem that turned from an issue to an emergency quickly and were blown off not once but twice by them. We called A1 very late at night after this and left a voicemail; I was not expecting a response that night but a response I got from Steve. He said he could have someone come in first thing the following morning. Considering there were now bees that emerged into our bedroom from a nest that started outside, we were beyond grateful. They got the issue fixed quickly and completely, on time, the following morning. Steve and Dan were friendly and competent and the price was reasonable. It's not everyday you use a pest control company, but my second time using A1 in a couple of years ended with another good result. Last year it was a wasp nest in our attic. This year it was a frightful discovery of a huge European Hornets nest near our fence . I wish I had taken a picture of the nest but I got a pic of Dan as you don't see a beekeeper uniform everyday . Truly an excellent experience and a perfect result. Steve was very communicative from the beginning and emphasized that their focus is first on sealing up entryways rather than just continuing to trap or poison mice already inside. He quoted a price for 3 visits over the course of about a month, and we even were able to include treatment for our neighbor who lives in a smaller house on the same property for a reduced price. Dan showed up on time and was extremely professional and thorough, even finding other places in the basement that we should be aware of but didn't need treatment. So I never leave reviews but I needed a pest control guy to take care of a bad mice problem and ant problem . I saw decent reviews on Steve and his company . Let me say this , he charged me over 460.00 and the problem still persists . I still have ants and that was around 190.00 dollars . I called back to let him know , he told me " it's Mother Nature what can you do " which he's right , but this guy is in it just for the money . He never came back or offered a solution . I personally wouldn't recommend him . We spent a lot of money and no results . We contacted pest tech and they were excellent and fair prices .People work hard for their money and this gentlemen likes to take advantage . We know of 3 other customers of a1 and they Switched to another pest control company . read more

Just had Steve from A1 come and deal with my ant problem. The guy was nice, knowledgeable and thorough. I won't know for 7-10 days if what he did works. But he did everything that every other exterminator I called said they would do.
