I experienced no pain and carefully followed directions, as instructed. Healing was quick and I had next to no discomfort. (5 stars to Dr. Reid) Fast forward to March 2026 and I receive a bill for a balance due. Not a problem as this happens. I sent a check dated 04/01/26 to the address on the invoice. My check hadn't been cashed. I called, left messages with the billing office to inquire about my Check - no call backs at all. I even visited the office on 04/22 and was promised they would give me a call back after speaking with the billing office. Today is 05/12 and again NOTHING from the front office. Dr. Reid needs to make front office personnel changes or patients may look elsewhere for services. She performs too excellent work to have a front office staff of this sort. Reading a previous reviewer's comments about the lackadaisical response from the office staff when she was in pain and could not reach them - I believe her! If it weren't for Dr. Reid's outstanding abilities, I would have given a one star review.

I completed the new patient paperwork on line beforehand. We were told to bring a check for $66.34 . Upon arrival we noticed the waiting room was dirty, the receptionists were aloof and unfriendly. They brought me another 5-6 pages of paperwork to complete for my Mom. Finally, we were brought back to a small exam room with dirty gauze on the floor. There was a dirty IV bag next to the chair I was sitting in. After the assistant squeezed the heck out of my Moms arm with her BP cuff she left the room. While waiting for the Dr. we nioticed the BP machine was left running. The cuff was inflating and deflating over and over again. unattended. The Dr came in , Natoya Reid, had taken over the practice of Dr Palumbo who retired recently. She was unprofessional and distant. She looked into my Moms mouth and stated that she would get started with the local. My Mom stated that she wanted to be put to sleep for the extraction. The Dr. left the room. The receptionist came in and said that Mom was booked for a simple extraction and that she would have to check the schedule . Next thing we know the receptionist comes in and says that they cannot start the procedure until Mom pays $500.00 up front. When asked how much Medicare covers we were told that they do not take Medicare. We never saw the Dr again. . This office does not offer any payment plans. They do not communicate well or listen well. The office is in transition and it shows. We will NOT be back. Do NOT recommend this practice to anyone with Delta Dental Insurance.

While I was at the dentist today for a routine cleaning, Dr Andrews asked " Are you wearing your retainers?". She was satisfied when I said yes and Dr E. Banks had adjusted them 2 months prior. I was glad she asked, showing interest. That's who she is. You can go to any old dentist if you just want your rotten teeth extracted and have a set of false choppers slapped into your mouth. But if your goal is to keep your teeth (or your children's), as long as possible, Dr Andrews is highly recommended. No, it will not be cheap. But losing teeth prematurely should be your last choice not your 1st. Keep your smile and confidence in place. Forgo a few of the shiny materialistic purchases you will not remember 5 years from now and invest in a healthier you. Keep you teeth by going to see Dr Andrews. I've lived in 3 differ houses in the Southern MD area, moving farther away from my dentist each time. Never mind, I drive from Charles to PG County to keep my dentist. NO PAIN with the shots and only "pressure and noise" during the scaling. I was so happy when I left I almost asked that they go ahead and do the other side.
