Dr Andrews has been my dentist for at least 20 years so still having the same amount of teeth I…read morestarted with is a very big deal. We've done a lot of things to keep my teeth. For example, she sent me to an Orthodontist about 5 years ago and the other patients were young enough to be my grand children. Nevertheless, I had more of my teeth than some of those teens and that's a pity. I went through the entire orthodontia process. While I was at the dentist today for a routine cleaning, Dr Andrews asked " Are you wearing your retainers?". She was satisfied when I said yes and Dr E. Banks had adjusted them 2 months prior. I was glad she asked, showing interest. That's who she is. You can go to any old dentist if you just want your rotten teeth extracted and have a set of false choppers slapped into your mouth. But if your goal is to keep your teeth (or your children's), as long as possible, Dr Andrews is highly recommended. No, it will not be cheap. But losing teeth prematurely should be your last choice not your 1st. Keep your smile and confidence in place. Forgo a few of the shiny materialistic purchases you will not remember 5 years from now and invest in a healthier you. Keep you teeth by going to see Dr Andrews. I've lived in 3 differ houses in the Southern MD area, moving farther away from my dentist each time. Never mind, I drive from Charles to PG County to keep my dentist. When I changed dental plans recently, we called Dr Andrews office to make sure the new PPO insurance company is acceptable. You do what you have to do to keep seeing a VG dentist.

Even if I needed a specialist, I used them to recommend an appropriate one. The office staff is beyond professional, even when the wait times are long and patients stack up in the waiting room. Everyone is calm, cool, and collected, INCLUDING the patients, as they know that excellence is on the other end of that wait.

I've visited Dr Watstein quite a few times now and my experiences have been NOTHING but great!…read more He's honest and straightforward and he and his people REALLY put me at ease! AND - btw- I HATE DENTISTS as a rule! But I've found his people to be superb and he is a caring very decent and very honest fellow! I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I've had work done with Dr. Watstein a few times in the past and I had a pleasant experience. But…read moremy last visit was four years ago when I needed to get fillings done. So I decided to go back recently when I was financially able to pay for these services. I scheduled an apt for a cleaning. When I arrived, I had to fill out paperwork to update my file, no problem. Once I finished, I was called back in 5 minutes. I was greeted by one of the assistants and she was very nice as she took me to the room. When Dr. Watstein arrived he asked me what are you here for today. I told him I'm getting a cleaning. His next words were "I thought you're getting fillings done. I'm looking at a chart from 2009". I told him not today but I will soon. Dr. Watstein then tells me "I'm not doing a cleaning. There's no point for you to be here. I care about the health of your teeth. I'm not doing that and someone will not return for another 5 years." EXCUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME! First of all, my last visit was in 2011. Dr. Watstein didn't even bother to offer to give me an up to date exam to check to make sure if anything has changed with my teeth. He's going by an old chart and God only knows how he's diagnosing previous patients. If he cared anything about his patients and why I haven't returned in four years, he would of found out I was unemployed and had financial hardships. But no he takes it upon his self to be an arrogant, nasty, rude and inconsiderate jerk without caring to ask a simple question to start a conversation. No one is going to dictate to me as a patient what, how and when I'm going to get a service done. Dr. Watstein left a very foul taste in my mouth and I stormed out of that damn office in a heartbeat. If you like to treated rudely and told what to do then Dr. Watstein is your dentist. If that's not the case then run and find a dentist who cares about patients needs.
