Everyone is professional, efficient, timely and a very high work ethic. I prefer hiring mom and pop businesses since they care so much about the quality, their reputation and customer referrals. The windows look great and look forward to a lower energy bill, less outside noise and no more little bugs flying through the cracks since my 2nd bedroom window screen wasn't flush with the wall. I couldn't even open one of my slider screens and had to use my entire body to open the old glass sliders. Now, i can open each widow with one or 2 fingers. Neighbors were so impressed with how beautiful the windows looked that i gave them Nicole's contact information. Nicole is the best quarterback is is literally available practically 24/7. Ken is very personable, intelligent and you can tell he treats his team like family. Sam and Pan are so fast that i had to remember to take pictures before and during the installation. We wanted to build an addition on to our house and got quotes from a few different companies. Ken was super personable and made me feel confident they would get the job done so Watson won the bid. The project went pretty smooth. The guys came once or twice a week and were very efficient. They worked with us on making a few changes along the way like adding a solar tube in our laundry room, pulling out an extra patio and buying a different style window than we originally discussed. They were also receptive to requests, when they were initially laying our vinyl flooring it was going down like bricks or tile would, with the short seams lining up. I asked for a random pattern to help it look more natural, showed them what I was thinking and they adjusted their method. With any of these kinds of jobs you run into little things along the way. We discovered late in the game that our roof tile was discontinued, I was super disappointed but Ken searched around until he found it used. We also had a bit of a stucco debacle, apparently you can only go so dark with stucco before you have to paint it. This we had to compromise on a bit and now no one else will have this issue because we've all learnt a lesson on how stucco is made, lol. We could have used a little more guidance on which materials we needed to have on site for install. Our contract mentioned flooring but we also had to purchase, doors, baseboards and lights. All of which made total sense (so many varieties and price points for these things) we just hadn't really considered them. We also don't yet have a closet door because the architect drew up a really odd sized opening. I wanted a big closet so I knew it wouldn't be a standard size but it would have been nice if it were at least a multiple of a standard size. I brought this to Ken's attention and while there isn't a whole lot we can do about it at this point I feel confident he passed the message on to the architect and will be more aware of door sizes in the future. Thanks Watson for being awesome! We'll definitely give them a call whenever we get around to our next big house project. I probably won't even bother getting quotes from other companies =) read more

He would not back up his work and then claimed a new roof was needed but refused to apply what they'd collected. We were looking to get central heating and air installed in our home I put in a request and they reached out within 24 hours. Had a rep out within 2 days full cut in and install were complete within 2 days. I can't say enough good things about the crew on site they were professional and mindful that I had two little kid rooms, they covered all there toys and clothes and made sure there mess was cleaned up at the end of every day. Nicole and the whole team were wonderful to work with, from beginning to end. There were some delays in the manufacturer getting our materials to them, but they kept us informed and were very respectful. We had two sets of doors installed - one set of French doors and one sliding door. Both look amazing and the workmanship is very high-quality. Both sets of doors were completed in one day, but not in a hurried manner. The husband and wife installation team were detailed and dedicated to installing things correctly. I don't know if we will be having any more significant work like this done in the near future, but if we do we, will definitely call on Watson construction again! read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT/REPAIRS!!! We've been going back and forth with this company for almost 3 years now. Have had leak after leak since they did the job and now have to go thru our home owners insurance for a claim because of the shoddy workmanship which caused leaking and now mold inside the house! AND, we have to have the roof repaired AGAIN and done correctly this time at our own expense! The owner refuses to honor the '20 year leak warranty'. We have hired Watson Construction two separate times now. The first time, our entire roof needed to be replaced. The team started work fairly quickly and the job took a few days. They updated us every step of the way and were very considerate. After the roof replacement was completed, Ken came out to check over everything once more and fixed a few smaller details we hadn't noticed. The second time, we wanted to replace a door and window with a sliding glass door. The work was scheduled quickly and done within a day. We are very happy with both the new roof and new door. Met Ken while getting information and quotes for replacing an aging furnace. During his inspection he noted (and most importantly showed me) that a vent had parted at a seam..... In an odd spot, not easily visible. Dirt on the insulation showed it had been that way for sometime. Ken pronounced the heater itself in good condition, with the caveat it would require replacement in the future. After he left, I repaired the vent and voila' my heater efficiency probably doubled! I will be calling Ken for the replacement when I decide it is time! read more

Recently due to the unusual heavy rain (barely rain before in California) i got water coming into the house, some water was coming thru from the window and the doors, Ken sent over their man to fixed the problem ( found out where is the leaking area, and seal them properly). A couple of my neighbors recommended Watson Construction to install new sliding windows in my condo as they had done with their own units. Watson promptly came to quote the job which was a fair price for a quality window. They were installed a couple weeks later, on time, by a very efficient husband and wife team. The trim, caulking and clean-up were first rate. I love the double paned windows which provide so much more sound and heat/cold insulation than the 50 year old aluminum frame windows that I had before. And, of course, they look much better too. Heads up I thought I was being proactive on my Roof. I reached out to them regarding Roof Maxx product which they handle for Orange County. I moved forward and had them administer the product after they had an inspection and said my roof was fine and would be perfect for this product. $3,800 later they sprayed on this stuff to apparently relax my roof shingles so they adhere and would last longer. Also guaranteed for 5 yrs no leaks. Well after the first rain I noticed a lot of sand around my house right away I knew the product had weakened the integrity of my roof. Then we had more rains this yr and of course a leak happened. I called them right away they said a shingle had moved, and that is not covered, but my $3,800 could go towards a new roof. I want everybody to know it is a scam a huge scam I called the roof Maxx directly and they referred me back to them said it is handled through them. I did a bbb but feel this needs to get out . Now I see a lot of people have issues with the construction co in general, Ouch an expensive mistake but please take my warning to heart I now have hired another roofing company to put on a new roof read more
