That said, same day called back later and someone cancelled and they're doing the work the next day after the estimate. Their crew is prompt on showing up when expected applied the 1st "spreader" coat with promise to come back in a few hours to repeat the process. Waited for the 2nd coat and had to follow-up with the estimator asking when they were going to be back to do the 2nd coat? Finally, I called and he told me they had already returned and "sprayed" a 2nd coat in select areas without full coverage where I expected 2 coats to mean they lay down the 2nd coat like the 1st was applied taking about 20-30 minutes. Although I had the front door open, I didn't even see or hear them do the 2nd "sprayed" coat, so must have taken less than 5 minutes to spray it and go. The quality of their work is top notch and they have a experienced and qualified installation teams. That said, the estimators are more a kin to working with used car salesmen.

Before they didn't have a single rip or scratch, and now several of them are ripped and have marks all over them. I reached out to Hugo directly to share this and he said they were already damaged from the sun which makes no sense, as sun doesn't cause tears. So bummed I hired him and also that I tipped him as now I will have to spend even more to replace the screens.

He said an estimator would come a few days later and a time we both agreed on. The guy never showed up and I called Tony and he told me "Yeah- we're just really busy- so I guess he didn't show up". Thanks Tony. Scratch these guys off your list. If they don't have the decency to even show up for an estimate- I can't imagine the nightmare you'd face if you actually decided to use these guys.

The grades are spot on, steps a consistent height, patios that drain just the right direction and with no low spots. The lines are straight and true. The finishes are beautiful - stamped concrete, acid washed finish, and integral color. Jason is a particular as I am and he has an excellent design sense which shows in the many small decisions he makes. JSM Concrete Design's pricing is very fair and with his longevity, 25 years in business, he is in for the long term. He has been responsive with my follow up questions, although we have not had any warranty issues. My client's love working with him, as he is such a gentleman and pleasure to work with.
