I saw that one person gave a bad review and I can tell you they are being overly critical. Anytime I have had an issue with my stove or fridge it was taken care of right away. These guys go over and beyond to do their job. My stove went out, god knows why but that's what happens. They break down and guess what, it's either time to get them fixed or replaced all together. Mine thankfully didn't have to be replaced but it was fixed right away. Some people are way too picky and think they have maids here. Seriously if you don't how things are run in a business then buy a house. There you can make your own rules. I'm more shocked to hear that the manager was rude. She has a huge job to do and she gets it done. All I hear are great compliments from her. I was referred here and thank god I was. The manager was so helpful she really is awesome to have. Don't get disappointed from that idiot resident, Selena, i think is her name. For the 5 years living here not once did I ever have a problem with maintenance nor the manager. I got 5 years down and I'm not moving out of here anytime soon. Looking more into that Selena W. profile, she's given almost everyone a bad review. Someone really needs a life!

I went to tour this apartment complex this past weekend and I could not forget the experience that…read moreI had when I was there. I am not one that usually writes a review on places even if they are bad because I would rather not support the business and not leave a permanent review on the internet, but the information given to me goes against the laws set in place by the ADA. I have a rare conversion disorder that causes me to have seizures so I have a service dog so that I am able to be alerted before it happens so that I can prevent a seizure from happening. We stated this during the tour and our tour guide proceeded to state their normal pet policy which does not apply to my service animal. She kept insisting that my service animal should be 25 lbs or under. When I explained that my service animal was over that weight limit, she kept saying that she had to be in the weight limit category. I knew that this violated 28 C.F.R. Pt. 36, app. a which states that: "No size, weight, or breed restrictions allowed" I did not have all of the correct information about this specific part of the ADA, so I did not say anything so that I did not say an uneducated answer. As much as we liked the apartment that we saw, the final comment that was made and what left an impression on my mind is that after explaining my situation to our tour guide she proceeded to say "Well, I don't know how long you've had the service dog but you still have some time to get rid of her and replace her because our weight limit restriction is 25 lbs and under," as she proceeded to laugh/chuckle about the situation under her breath. If she would have been more understanding about the situation I feel as though this review would not have been written. Even with these laws in place, I would still choose a different place to live as this is basic information that leasing offices and apartment complexes should know on the back of their hand as having a service animal is more common than you would think. It makes you wonder what else do they lack knowledge of?

The best apartment complex in Fairfield - hands down!…read more My husband and I lived at Nova for two years (May 2023 - June 2025), and after touring many other options in the area, nothing came close to what Nova offers. The apartments are beautiful, brand new, and truly feel like luxury, with high-quality appliances and thoughtful finishes. The amenities are incredible: a stylish clubhouse, movie room, gaming room, spacious gym with a separate yoga studio, coffee machine, large pool with hot tub, a dog park, and plenty of grassy areas perfect for walking your pup (which you should definitely do, lol). We always felt safe living here. The gate was consistently closed and secure, and we never had any issues safety-wise. They also have security on-site at night, which gave us extra peace of mind. The only small issue we had at the beginning was with parking during peak times and weekends, especially if you don't have a garage or an assigned carport. But once we decided to pay the $50/month for an assigned spot, it was smooth sailing. The leasing office also does a great job managing the parking situation. Speaking of the leasing office: La Shaunda is amazing! She's always friendly, helpful, and truly goes above and beyond to manage the entire property. The maintenance team is also top-notch. When our fridge stopped working, they responded immediately and took care of it right away. That said, the pricing is definitely on the higher side compared to other apartments in Fairfield, especially if you're looking for a larger unit. But if it's within your budget, you absolutely get what you pay for, a clean, modern, luxury-feeling place to call home. We genuinely loved living here. It was bittersweet saying goodbye. The community is welcoming, the neighbors are great, and we made lasting friendships during our time. I highly recommend Nova to anyone looking for a high-quality, safe, and beautiful place to live in Fairfield. Also do not hesitate to ask me any questions!

First, let me start by saying the first couple of months were great, and then things started going…read moredownhill from there. One of the main reasons we chose to stay here was the fact that it is supposed to be a smoke-free community. This is not at all the case, as you will smell weed almost nightly, and when management does get complaints, all they do is send out a mass email informing everyone that the community is smoke-free, but they never actually do anything. In fact, anything that gets a complaint, double parking, sometimes triple parking in loading zones all night, animals relieving themselves in the hallways, and people not picking up after themselves all get a mass email. There are zero consequences at this place because all they care about is money. Community equipment never gets fixed. We lived there for about two years, and both stationary cycles in the yoga room were broken even after telling them multiple times. The fire pit outside was broken for over a year, and was not fixed when we left. Now we will get to the bigger issues. In September of last year, this community had mulitple break in's to the garages, and not one mass email was sent out warning people to take caution. These break-ins happened over a couple of weeks, and then when ours got hit, they replaced the locks without even calling us or the police to try to get fingerprints. To this date, they have yet to fix the side door to the building that the thief used to get in. Now on to our apartment, we lived on the fourth floor, and every time it rained, the roof would leak into our bathroom. Multiple attempts were made to address the issue, but it was not until I slipped in the middle of the night that they actually got a roofing company out to fix the problem. This was over a year after the first ticket was in to fix it. With all of this going on, we decided to leave, and they will not waive our lease buyout fee. We could have taken them to small claims, and still might, as they did not provide a moisture-free dwelling for us to live in, nor did they ever provide a dehumidifier to dry out the ceiling. All this place cares about is money, so beware of how shady they are. Do not stay here just because they are one of the newest in town.

It is scary going outside when it is dark. Going to the stores around is dangerous, there are many gangsters around the area which is scary. The manager is a master of putting band-aids on tenant problems or just talking over you without letting you finish a sentence. Instead of resolving issues, she delegates everything to a rude, lazy, and clueless leasing staff who couldn't care less about tenant concerns. After I reported ongoing noise issues from my upstairs neighbor, including clear violations of quiet hours (like waking up to the sounds of intercourse at 6:11 AM on 5/17), the manager promised to explore the option of moving me to another unit. That was on 5/7. Since then, she's ignored my follow-up email from 5/14, and nothing has been done. Her response to the noise issue? "It's just he said, she said." If the manager won't take tenant complaints seriously, who will? Rolling Oaks cares only about collecting your rent, not about providing a livable environment. I never had a big problem with the the "Duchess of Windsor" complex. I had a studio with an…read moreupdated kitchen ("granite" counter tops, new sink & stove, older fridge, and if you looked closely there were actually 3-4 different types of cabinets used in the kitchen but not noticeable to anyone else). The bedroom was quite large and spacious. Since there's not much space in the kitchen to eat, I ended eating most meals at a table in the bedroom. Other units even had updated bathrooms. I did not. The bathroom had an old-fashioned claw foot bathtub with two shower curtains that encircled you, pedestal sink, and window that opened to an "air shaft." It has no view, but does a good job of keeping the bathroom dry. In my unit, the closet was really long - woo hoo! Imagine at least 2 to 2.5 times the length of a normal closet. I was able to flatten & store a whole bunch cardboard boxes of my appliances and things (microwave, dvd, fans, small Christmas tree, etc.) for when I moved out. Each unit is different and may or may not be updated. So make sure you view or get photos of the exact unit you're interested in. I adored the architecture of the building especially the 5-ish feet high of ledging that surrounds the entire bedroom (it extends approximately 3 inches from the wall). I never put a nail in the walls, because I could rest all my artwork or random decorations on this ledge. The internet connection was an issue. I would have to call Ruben quite often to ask him to reset the internet. I opted for the parking lot in the back (there's only 8 or so spots available). It was nice to know your car was probably safer than on the street but a lot of the residents did not know how to park there. If everyone parks within the painted lines, someone is going to get screwed. But if you park out of the lines and leave some space for the people on the ends, it's better. I never had a problem with our neighbors at the time. Everyone was pretty quiet and I rarely saw other residents. Several of them were students who went to school nearby.
