Excellent winery! Has a big winery feel but close to town. Owners are super sweet and friendly. Sangria is the BEST around!

Upon entering the building, there is a foyer area where their gift shop meets the bar. A group of my girlfriends and I had came here for a birthday celebration, and service was phenomenal! Our server was so friendly and adaptable while serving a large party. I ordered the Brunch Sangria, it is a white sangria that has bits of fruit in it. It was so refreshing! Definitely worth it. For an entree I ordered the Breakfast Gnocchi Carbonara with chicken. This meal was delicious and filling. The bacon was my favorite part- crispy and flavorful! Definitely going to come back.

The server didn't seem very knowledgeable of the wines, as we advised her we prefer a selection of sweet wines. The sever was very slow, and after each pour she would leave for long periods of time before returning. It made our wine tasting experience very unpleasant. While being escorted to our table for dinner, the host took us in several different directions, as if she had no clue where we were supposed to be seated. Our waiter was super slow, and and forgot to bring our wine, that we ordered through him to the table. My dinner was amazing, however the portion of my sides were rather small. It appeared like I was given a teaspoon of mashed potatoes.

I had one of the most disappointing and frustrating dining experiences at Cooper's Hawk Winery &…read moreRestaurant on March 31, 2026, around 5:20 PM--and it honestly felt unacceptable. I sat at the bar for dinner and waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. What made it worse was that the bartender immediately acknowledged a white man standing right next to me (we had even been talking about seating together). He took his drink and food order while I was handed only a glass of water and then ignored while he continued serving others. Even after finally taking my drink and appetizer order, the service remained inconsistent and dismissive. The bartender served multiple other guests--including a couple seated next to me--getting them waters, wine, and food orders, while I was still waiting. My appetizer was eventually dropped off with no silverware or napkin, and I had to ask another bartender just to be able to eat. At that point, I was still waiting on a drink I had ordered 20 minutes earlier. Eventually, a female bartender stepped in and brought my drink, but the overall experience had already gone downhill. The original bartender gave a quick apology, but the damage was done. Later, when I returned with my girlfriend after i advised we were going to do our wine tasting for dinner, the experience somehow got worse. The same bartender (Jamie S) gave my white friend a menu, water, and service--but did not offer me the same until my friend had to point it out. We were then ignored again for about 10 minutes until my friend had to call someone over because we were ready to order. When my food arrived, it was completely unacceptable. The chicken burger was extremely thin--practically see-through--and the fries were cold. When I spoke to a manager, instead of taking accountability, he made excuses, saying it was a "life balance" burger (which I did NOT order), and then blamed the kitchen for only having smaller patties available, said they forgot to make the 8 ounce ones. None of that changes the fact that I did not receive what I ordered. Although they remade the food, the overall experience was already ruined and it was still not what i wanted. Throughout all of this, Jamie never came back to check on us or acknowledge the situation. What made this even more disappointing is that I am a wine club member and regularly visit the Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant location in Town and Country, where I am consistently treated with respect and great service. This experience in St. Peters was the complete opposite. I rarely leave reviews like this, but this experience felt not only poorly managed but also dismissive and uncomfortable. My friend even commented that I was not exaggerating about how I was being treated. I will never return to the St. Peters location and will continue to share this experience. This is not the level of service anyone should have to tolerate. I will continue to ride pass this location to go further to the Town and Country location.

The interior of the restaurant is bright and welcoming and classy. I enjoyed the greenery and the hedge walls as a back drop and the warm orange umbrellas seen from my seat on the patio. While my server was attentive, I felt like he zipped off as soon as he came by or dropped something off so I didn't get that personal touch read about in other comments. I also never got a fresh refill of any drinks and soft drinks are 3.50! I ordered the salmon crostini and tacchino sandwich. And while the ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and it left me wanting more: more toast on the crostini as it was soft and flimsy with the salmon which is also soft and flimsy, wanted more tomato flavor in the tomato goat cheese mousse, wanted more goat cheese spread and fruit compote on the sandwich to offset the density of the turkey.
