Indy Plus Realty Group - On closing day with our wonderful realtor Troy Dixon!

Indy Plus Realty Group

Tom Galovic is the absolute best in the business. My husband and I were initially looking to lease,…read morebut ended up shopping the Indy market to own in the downtown area. Tom was flexible and worked hard to accommodate our ever-changing plans. We were in Texas the majority of the time, but he always kept us updated and on track. When we came to Indy, we had only 5 days from the time we found the home we wanted to put an offer in for to the time we were flying back to Texas, and Tom was able to start the negotiating process as well as set up a home inspection before we left. He and his team worked around our tight schedule, always making sure someone was available to show us properties or be there with us for the home inspection. He was constantly in contact with our lenders and with us, making sure that our loan was going through smoothly. When we found out Wells Fargo couldn't do the loan 1 week before we were scheduled to close, (loooooonnnng story, nothing to do with Tom of Indy Plus Realty Group or even WF, really just the huge careless mistake of one particular loan officer), Tom tried his hardest to accommodate us as we had already scheduled movers, trucks, etc. in order to drive up from Texas and move in on the original date. He went so far as to try to bargain with the sellers for us to move in prior to the closing date and even offered to pay for storage for our stuff if it didn't work out. He was always easy to reach, prompt at returning phone calls, emails or texts. He fought for us even at closing, making sure every one of our concerns was addressed by the sellers. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable about the Indy area, particularly with the downtown area. He has lots of experience with working with IU physicians and employees. Indy Plus Realty Group has a great program for first time physician home owners where they give you back a percentage of their realtor fees. He has great working relationships with lenders, home inspectors, etc. and the people he recommended were all really wonderful as well. Tom and his team are the kind of people that you want to work with; they're professional, honest and diligent. You will not regret working with this group. They are, hands-down, the best.

Progress Residential - This Progress Residential home for rent is located near Indianapolis IN.

Progress Residential

There is a reason for the number of negative reviews. My fiancé and I took a chance despite them,…read moreand unfortunately that has proven to be a mistake. Our lease began on August 22. During the move-in orientation, we were informed that the air conditioning was not functional and that a repair would be made the same day. Instead, a third-party HVAC vendor arrived several days later and only recharged the unit. Within three days, the indoor temperature again exceeded 80 degrees. Since then, this same pattern has repeated multiple times: a service request is submitted, the vendor comes out and recharges the system, and within a few days the unit fails again. Each time this happened, I contacted Progress Residential by phone and email and was instructed to submit yet another service request rather than address the underlying issue. Each time, the result was the same. This cycle has occurred several times over the course of months, with no lasting fix. During the most recent visit, I asked the HVAC technician what work he was authorized to perform. He stated that Progress would only approve recharging the system, despite his assessment that the 20+ year-old unit needs to be replaced. He also confirmed the system was not holding a charge after testing for leaks. It is now January, and due to cold weather the system cannot be properly tested, further delaying resolution. Progress continues to refuse replacement of the unit while requiring repeated service appointments, each of which requires me to take time off work. This does not even address the condition of the home at move-in or its continued deterioration. The property had a strong cigarette odor, human feces on the toilet seat, moldy caulking, spiders throughout the home, tape covering failing ceilings, residue on air registers, and other issues documented in photos. After five months with Progress Residential, I am still without a clear resolution. Throughout this time, we have continued to pay full rent, which is not inexpensive, despite the home being in unacceptable condition. Each time I reach out, I am routed to a different representative who appears unfamiliar with the situation and unwilling or unable to take meaningful action. I encourage Progress Residential to reach out directly and address these issues properly with a permanent, accountable solution.

We have windows that have completely rotted out, we cannot open windows in two of our rooms. We made Progress aware of this in February, they sent someone out to assess the situation. He said we needed all new windows. That week we could not keep our bedroom above 60 degrees with the poor insulation from the rotted windows. We had to sleep in our living room with our six week old daughter and nothing was done by Progress. We needed new floors due to moisture leaking from the rotted windows, mold was found and we were left without our master bedroom or master bathroom for six weeks. There's a massive rodent infestation they refuse to remedy. It is now July and our windows are still broken. In April the air conditioner broke and instead of replacing the whole unit, like the specialist recommended, they only wanted to pay for the parts. The parts were on back order. We were left without working central air for over five weeks. My husband had to go to the Indianapolis office to try to talk someone. When he got there they refused to speak with him. We were just trying to get our house below 84 degrees as it is not safe for an infant to sleep in that heat. During all of this we have reached out to Progress MULTIPLE times with no avail. It is extremely disheartening to see the shear lack of empathy or concern from this company, especially when an infant is involved. Steer clear of this company they are nothing but a hassle.

I rely heavily on people's reviews of businesses before I decide to give them my business. I…read morewanted to write this review on T&H Realty Services because they are deserving of the recognition. I am an out-of-state investor (I live in CA) but own property in Greenwood, IN that is managed by T&H. When my business partner and I purchased this property it was managed by a different PM who we stayed with upon acquisition. After about a year of terrible service, we decided to change PM companies. We landed with T&H. At the time of this review, we've been working with T&H approx 1.5 years. I typically handle more of the repair/maintenance issues with the property and my business partner usually handles more of the admin side of things. With a construction background, I stay connected to what R&M are being done at my properties. With that said, I've dealt with and have worked a lot with Tanya Carmen, one of T&H's PM's. Tanya is responsible for the move-out and on-boarding inspections and reports and I must say, she does an incredible job. She is very thorough and has great attention to detail. When my business partner and I purchased this property, unfortunately it wasn't very 'turn key' which has made Tanya's job much more involved getting things up to their standards. Tanya is very easy to work with, has prompt communication and just an overall great person! If you are looking for a professional PM company that cares about your property and their tenants, T&H is a sound choice. James

Thiz company is a complete money pit. They charge for everything including paying your rent. My…read moredaughter moved out a month and a half ago. I paid a professional 500.00 to clean out the house because the reviews I read said that they will find something to charge you for and try to sue you. They still charged me 370.00. They make it so tedious to dispute the charges so that its easier to just pay them. They charge to come out to fix the garbage disposal, they charge to unclog the drain, and it waz never totally fixed because it continued to drain slow. We continue to contact them about problems and they drag them out. So when we moved out it was still draining slow and they are charging us for a problem they previously charged for, but nevet fixed. They are charging us for window screens that were NEVER installed, they are charging us for a porch light that nevet worked. I do not recommend any rent from these people especially if you are living paycheck to paycheck. I cosigned for my daughter and I feel like if I wasn't there to help guide her they would have charged her for much much more. The last problem i will speak about out of MANY is the air filter. They gave us the wrong size and when there was a problem they tried to say we put it in wrong. I had my daughter video tape the maintenance man while he was replacing it,he said in video that THEY had put the wrong size, and they still tried to charge us. This is the most expensive place she has ever lived because of all the extra charges. DO NOT PUT YOURSELVES THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE

Our move was a bit more complex, as we needed to find a home not just for our family, but also for a family member moving with us, each with their own set of needs. During a weekend visit, Jennie essentially became my personal guide to the Carmel and Fishers area, taking the time to tour homes, walk me through different neighborhoods, and help us weigh our options. She truly listened to our criteria and went above and beyond to find options that fit our unique situation. With Jennie's help, we found the perfect homes for both our family and our family member. She supported us throughout the entire process, from virtual open houses to navigating escrow, and even continued to be a resource afterward, connecting us with contractors, plumbers, and painters as we settled in. Jennie genuinely cares about her clients, takes pride in her work, and sets high standards on their behalf. Over these past few months, she's become not just a trusted real estate partner, but a friend I still reach out to as we make Carmel our home.
