They are racist and discriminator. Set up a time to view the property I am on assignment for work as a nurse so when I travel the city I have to pay a ride service. So I spent $25 and was unable to view the property. I messaged and called with no response and I'm pretty sure the property manager road past at 6:00 just to see my appearance they did not speak just rolled down the window and pulled off. Then I got another message stating they would like for me to reschedule a view at their convenience.

Future tenants beware Fair & Honest Review I'm a former tenant at PMI Midwest. I've been an extremely good tenant and NEVER missed a payment for my entire 12-month lease. My main problem with these specific landlords was communication or lack thereof. From the beginning of my lease till the end they have communicated very poorly. During the winters, the cold wind would creep in through the windows since they were not sealed properly - which in turn made it colder inside & thus raising my heat bill. I notified management but it was never resolved, no one responds. Besides that, once the lease ended, I left the apartment in prime condition, (Below are photos of the condition of how I left the apartment) yet the overwhelming majority of the security deposit wasn't returned (one month's rent!!). The little amount that was returned to me felt like a slap in the face more than anything. After all this took place, I went to the office and tried to dispute this matter. Rebecca handed me a form and told me to circle the charges that I wanted to dispute and write the amount on the paper. I did as I was told, I handed her back the paper and asked her is there anything else that needed to be done, she responds telling me that the owner is going to review the matter and get back with you. 2 months go by, and no one ever got back to me, so I had to message them again (lack of communication). I went into the office physically to go over the move out process to ensure I did everything correctly so I can get my deposit back and to leave on a good reputation with this company. Jenny and I went over the photos on my account portal that I took before I moved in to show the damages that had already existed in apartment before I moved in. I went OVER the move out check list 4 times to MAKE SURE I did everything that PMI Midwest requested. After dealing with all that stress Yesterday, I was emailed by the owner, Mark Jones, accusing me of posting a negative review that I didnt even post saying that it breaks a "Mutual Non-Disparagement Clause". I haven't posted a review, till now, and it is not a negative review. This is an honest and fair review, protected by federal law, under the Federal Trade Commission's Consumer Review Fairness Act. The Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA) protects people's ability to share their honest opinions about a business's products, services, or conduct, in any forum, including social media. The law protects a broad variety of honest consumer assessments, including online reviews, social media posts, uploaded photos, videos, etc. And it doesn't just cover product reviews. It also applies to consumer evaluations of a company's customer service. I do not appreciate false accusations on top of the he blatant disrespect I have faced during my time as a tenant and afterwards when trying to resolve this entire issue. It's been extremely frustrating, and I don't even know what to say at this point. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PMI Midwest to anyone.
