Nice park with walkways all around the pier. Great views of city scape in the back and oceans in the front. Free entrance and the free city 211 bus takes you here. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing place to walk around on, between the beautiful fountains, the breathtaking views of the bay, and USS Yorktown, it's a must see.

It is a favorite among Charleston locals and tourists alike. This park is ideal for a sunset picnic or a relaxing stroll, and it only adds to the romantic charm of Charleston. It won the 2007 Landmark Award from the American Society of Landscape Architects, confirming its status as a Charleston treasure. You can stroll through the gardens, walk the esplanade, or spend some time at one of the many fountains. Spanning over 8 acres and located less than a mile north of The Battery, Waterfront Park has become a beloved Charleston fixture. It is home to one of the city's most photographed sites: the pineapple fountain. In Charleston's scorching summer months (and we faced that too), visitors (especially children) can be found cooling off in the shallow water of the fountain. Wide walking paths, dozens of benches, well-manicured green spaces, picturesque Palmetto trees, and a famous Pineapple Fountain adorn the park.
