Took an adventure here with my 13 year old daughter and two of her friends. It's become an annual trip and I'd say well worth a trip once a summer. I purchased tickets ahead of time for a decent $5 discount per ticket. Even if you are not there for the slide rides, tickets are required for entry. Things I love: Advance purchase tickets online - tickets do sell out so buying tix ahead of time guarantees entry. But - no refunds unless the park is closed due to weather so check the forecast. You can bring your own food and drinks - enough said! I actually made it out of there not buying a single thing from the snack bar yesterday. Yay, me! There is a snack bar. If you're not worried about cost, there's a good selection of food and drinks offered, including salad. But be prepared to pay $$. Four chicken fingers runs about $17. You can bring your own chairs. Just found this out yesterday. Load up the beach wagon if you want guaranteed seating and you don't want to rent a cabana. There's cabana rentals that give you guaranteed seating and shade. I wasn't going to spring $150 for a basic cabana but it's an option. Upgrades are available at higher price points. There's lots and lots of slide options for the teen crowd and a decent size kiddie area. Life jackets are provided. Locker rentals Clean. Except for the restrooms, there's no garbage or litter around. Plenty of trash cans. Lots of lifeguards. Safety first. Things that could be better: The restrooms. The main one leaves a lot to be desired. But typical of what you would expect at a waterpark. New ones are worth the walk over by Hurricane Hill. Trust me. The parking. I'm not a "wait at the gate for the park to open" type of person. It's a mess if you have to grab a spot when it's full. Ask about the overflow lot next door. Shorter walk than the far end of the main lot. Lines. They are long , even on weekdays and there's no shade while you wait. Brutal on hot days. Unchaperoned kids. Not a huge issue because everyone is pretty well behaved and the staff runs a tight ship with any horseplay. But this is a big camp field trip destination. Lastly, is the water clean? It's not dirty but what you would expect for hundreds of people being in and out. I'd recommend sitting over by the wave pool if you don't get a cabana. Don't be afraid to pick up an empty single chaise to claim a spot outside the rows. Overall, a great family friendly spot. read more

I went here a while back, and while it wasn't terrible, the location felt incredibly random kind of wedged between a parking lot and a store, which made the whole arrival experience a bit odd. It also took me about three hours to get there, so expectations were definitely higher going in. The first thing that stood out was how unorganized the entry process was. The line to get into the park was insanely long and honestly one of the most chaotic lines I've ever seen. That said, we still managed to get in at a reasonable time. Once inside, it was a mixed experience. The lazy river was extremely crowded, especially at the entrance, which made it hard to relax. On the plus side, the wave pool was actually really nice. The waves felt more realistic than most water parks, which I appreciated. Food prices were about what you'd expect, maybe a little on the higher side, but nothing outrageous for a water park. As for the slides, they felt a bit rough and slightly sketchy at times. I get that part of it is the thrill, but some rides, especially Devil's Peak, were pretty uncomfortable. I ended up with a few rub burns and scratches, which wasn't ideal. Overall, I did have fun because at the end of the day it is still a water park. My recent visit to Water Wizz was overshadowed by the unprofessional behavior of one particular staff member. He was a tall male employee, and from what I observed, he was constantly singling out certain swimmers, including me and my daughter. He was rude, confrontational, and seemed genuinely irritated by kids simply having fun which is the whole point of a water park. His attitude was completely out of line for a place meant to be family-friendly. I watched him repeatedly escalate situations that didn't call for it, and his behavior made the environment feel tense instead of enjoyable. Someone with that kind of energy has no business working around children or guests. I hope management seriously reevaluates who they hire to represent their park. read more

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.I love to go to haunted houses.So me and my friends decided Try the new haunted house attractions at Water wiz. First off when I got there, there was no lines which I thought was pretty odd because it was a very nice night out. They had 2 haunted houses. One of them was a corn maze. The the props were nice and everything. But so not worth a money , we spent sixty bucks each , because we decided Add on the extra tokens for the Carnival games. The carnival games were just like the games you would See if you were at a school fundraiser or Something. I wish they had more scared actors walking around. We could only do The Haunted house in maze only once, which I thought that was kind of ridiculous.I've been the Caniobe for their Haunted attractions and spent the same amount of money.I could go to any haunted house as much as I wanted to. It was our first time here, a mom who had been here previously suggested that we take our kids and go for the day, so we bought our tickets online, packed our coolers with drinks and food, loaded the kids in the car, and headed to Water Wizz, which is about an hour away from where we live. The kids (ages 15 & 16) had a blast and even though the lines were long and the park felt overcrowded, they managed to ride just about everything at least once during our time there. The park allows you to bring in outside food and drinks (no glass containers or alcohol allowed) which was awesome. If we had to stand in line to get food, drinks, and snacks throughout the day and pay park concession prices for 7 teenagers and 3 moms, we would have spent a significant amount of money! Park tickets are $44 if you buy them online and $49 if you buy them at the gate, which sounded expensive at first but is actually reasonable for the access that you get. Everyone over the age of 2 needs a park ticket just to enter, it doesn't matter if you don't plan to use the water park. The parking lot is an odd shape and fills up fast. There's an active railway that runs through it. We saw people walking down the street carrying their coolers and pool supplies presumably because they were not able to find parking in the free lot. I wasn't expecting there to be bus loads of kids who were here with their camp groups on a random weekday. They weren't an issue, I was just surprised to see so many young kids with only a handful of chaperones in the park. The bus loads of kids made the park very full and loud. Immediately when they started leaving, sometime around 3pm, the park became easier to navigate which gave everyone better access to the water slides and attractions. Because we were a larger group, I wanted to make sure we had space where we could be together so I rented a Gold Cabana that was next to Devils Peak and Hurricane Hill. This space provided shade and plenty of room for everyone to leave their things and come and go as they please. It was not far from the restrooms at the back of the park, which were significantly cleaner and less trafficked than the ones at the front of the park. It came with a picnic table inside the cabana, 4 chairs, and 2 lounge chairs. There was a safe/cooler combo inside the cabana for us to use (we didn't) I wish a staff member would have checked in with us at least once to go over the perks of having a cabana and maybe even share their tips or suggestions about how to best navigate the park or what areas we should check out first. Even though this cabana area was fenced in on three sides and tucked into a corner, several strangers just walked in the space to ask of they could take our chairs. A few walked in and stood along the fence line inside the cabana to wait and watch for their kids to come down the water slides. It was weird and we kept having to tell people that we rented this space for the day and that it was for our group to use. Nice place. But we are in Cape Cod not Texas. Why do we have to listen to country music ALL DAY. WTF

We took the trip out to the cape last week with four teenagers and four adults. We got there early enough to find a suitable spot. The teenagers had fun, but here were some of the things we encountered that you should be mindful of when visiting. You can bring your own cooler. You have to pay for a cooler pass, and the website says there are restrictions on sizes, but we saw people rolling their red flyer wagons filled with food, so we're not sure how strictly they enforce these restrictions. The food inside the waterpark is pricey. There were a decent number of choices for snacks, etc, but nothing healthy. The pretzel and churro cart was very popular because they were out twice while we were there. The burger joint was a disappointment, and the adults in our group confirmed the fries were undercooked and very greasy. We were not the only ones because we saw trays of fries left everywhere. We kindly went back to the window to let them know. The park is not easy to navigate, and we weren't the only ones trying to find our way around. We were confused about which slide to go to, and the lines were long. At one point, the lazy river was so packed that people kept getting stuck. The wave pool was fun, though, once we found it. Overall, the kids were happy, and the adults just took the time to enjoy the sun. We would go back next summer for sure. Now with a better understanding of the flow of the park, and with plenty of food, it will make our overall experience better. read more

Its cool here, the 40 dollars is a little pricey for the park but they have some cool slides and a nice little wave pool. The lazy river is a short ride but relaxing. The food is really expensive and not that good, I've gotten better food for school lunch. The shop they have there has some cool items in there. I bought tickets online and got a cabana, when we showed up the cabana it was assigned to someone else. It took 4 different employees to get us to someone that did help us. It wasn't what we paid for but she refunded the difference and was really kind. The issue wasn't with anyone there, it was a glitch with the online purchase so make sure your tickets are for the day you wanted. The woman who helped us was so kind and did her best to correct the problem. I actually like where she put us better. read more

One of the best activities is Massachusetts. This place is absolute gigantic with so much things to do. Has activities for everyone including slides, lazy rivers, kid parks, obstacle courses, wave pools, and more! Wait times for slides are also very quick. I haven't been here since I was a kid! What a day. My boyfriend and I, along with our blended 3 kiddos, had a nice time here at the park last weekend. The park seemed reasonably clean, the rides were fun, and - while we didn't get any - the french fries looked AMAZING (funny the things that stand out, lol) Our kids are 6, 11, and 13 - all of them found activities great for their age level. While my boyfriend took his older boys down some of the super big slides, my younger kiddo and I enjoyed lap after lap on the lazy river. Then, my son discovered the lily pad / ropes course in the 4 foot (max) deep pool and he simply loved it - he felt like he was on American Ninja Warrior - but for kids of course. :-) Eventually the 11 and 13 year old came along and found they loved that challenge as well. To be honest, if any of the park owners / decision makers see this review - I'd encourage you to add more water/obstacle courses like that!! They seem really popular now-a-days and it might be a neat way to make the park feel a little more...updated. (Also, I would consider updating or improving the bathrooms... they were FINE enough, don't get me wrong... but the changing rooms had just-about see-through curtains and they blew open a lot and they were lined up right where people were lined to wait for the rooms or toilets...privacy? What's that? lol oof... It didn't make for an enjoyable changing situation...and the floor was constantly just soaking wet and really slippery) Some tips to people thinking of heading up the Cape to Water Wizz... - Water shoes, water shoes, water shoes!! Cannot stress that enough (we know for next time). Some of the pavement is totally fine and comfortable to walk on barefoot, but there's a lot of pavement that is much rougher and towards the end of the day my feet were dreading having to walk to certain areas because of how tender they were getting. Water shoes would also be helpful in the Lazy River as the bottom is not very smooth and you'll use your feet in there more than you realize! (My feet were NOT happy with me by the end of the day...) - You can bring your own food/drinks!! Which is, honestly, REALLY great... They have some food there as well, but having this option is fantastic for families with food issues/allergies/intolerances, etc. - Be aware that if you need a park employee who's an actual ADULT, you will be hard pressed to find one... it was mostly teenagers/young adult working that we could see. I was impressed with the ones handling the lily pad ropes course - so that was great. The others varied dramatically as far as attentiveness, maturity, etc... Overall it was fine, we didn't have any issues - but just be aware that adult park employees seemed pretty non-existent. Overall, I look forward to going back!! I don't think we'll make it there again this summer - but I definitely want to make it a destination (all the way from lil' Rhode Island) next summer for sure - we all have a great time. :-) read more

Water Piss ... The worst water park I have ever seen in my life. Dirt and bandaids in water and everywhere on premises. Sanitary napkin in lazy river banks on the rocks. Hundred times more people than lounge chairs. They charge 20$ for lockers , 20 $ to rent tubes to ride the rides yet you still wait in line with hundreds of people to get on any ride who don't rent tubes. Atrocious slow service at rides making wait lines 45+ minutes . Food is outrageous 11$ for ice cream 17$ for shit**burgers. No place to sit and eat as everyone who did not get a lounge chair chose to take up all the picnic/ food tables. The water is murky and obviously not cleaned ! The wooden stairs up to the rides look worn out and dangerously neglected. Some of the rides have cracks visible from the outside. The place is staffed by clueless teenagers that would have a hard time packing groceries in Walmart . The entire place reeks of urine. After waiting an astounding 50 minutes for one ride and observing trash in lazy river with teenagers spitting into it from bridges - we ran in horror out of the disgust park .Health hazard and should be SHUT down read more

We visited Water Wizz today and had loads of fun! We purchased tickets online and arrived a half an hour before open. It was already so busy and we are glad we arrived when we did! Parking attendants were very aware of the surrounding and helpful. To make entering easy Water Wizz has constructed two lines; one for purchasing tickets at the park, and another for tickets already purchased. I feel this made the process faster and I applaud WW (Water Wizz) for this. Life jackets are available for day rentals. As long as you return it you will get a full refund. (Awesome deal!) lockers are also available to keep your stuff safe. I believe it was $10 with a $2 refund once the key is returned. Bathrooms are similar to beach bathrooms. Not the best smelling but they were impressingly clean for such a high volume of people. The smoking section is outside of the gates, respectfully far enough away. The children and myself enjoyed the rides. The lazy river did have some trash in it, but come on- think of all the children that are running around. My daughter collected a bible gum wrapper and hair tie on the bottom of the river. She respectfully put it to the side for an employee to find. So, the employees were quite kind. I didn't run into a single grouch. A lot of younger teens employed here. Which I believe is a great thing. Most of them were sweet, talkative yet seemed to be completing their jobs. The only negative thing I have to say is the parking. I left with my baby to run down to cvs. It was busy at WW and when I returned the parking lot was at full capacity. I was directed to another parking lot to use. The distance wasn't bad at all. Relatively the same length. However, at this time I was alone and it wasn't easy pushing my baby's stroller through some heavy rocks and jumping curbs. I made do, it really wasn't that serious. Although, I'm not sure if it would effect someone who is handicapped. Overall, we had a great time and will most certainly return. Massachusetts only has a few water parks and this is one of the biggest ones there. It has about a dozen slides, some with floats, some without. It was slightly fun but it seems like this park doesn't do a very good job in handling a sold out crowd. The wait times were bad. There is a cheat to getting ahead in lines and that is by renting floats. If you rent floats, you don't need to wait in line for floats after every slide which can save a lot of time. Also I noticed there were way more double floats than singles so waiting for singles can be mind numbingly long. The good news is there's a pretty fun pool with huge waves to go in if you want to escape the lines and there was a cool floating stream where you can hang out in as long as you want. The biggest issue of all though was the lack of restaurants. There were only like two. That meant the lines again were way too long. So long that we had to eat at the snack stand since there wasn't much people there and we ended up getting stale popcorn. The price was 45 dollars for anyone 4 feet and up. Pretty pricey overall. I think going on a less busy day would have made all the difference. Also you have to rent tables too which was kind of absurd. I expected better, not bad but not great either. read more

Not worth the price of admission. Park is outdated and dirty. When you first come in you get a great whiff of urine coming from the sloppily kept bathrooms. Absolutely NO covid protocols in place. I brought my daughters here last summer (2021) and we knew we were going to have to wait in line to get in so we showed up early before they opened and the line had already been formed. We waited in line for about 30 to 40 minutes, once we paid and got in getting a locker was quick and easy and then we were free to do whatever we wanted. The first couple hours we were there it was great because there was no lines really for all the attractions, you only waited 10 to 15 minutes to go down a slide. However as the day went on I noticed they just kept letting more and more people in when you would have thought the place was already at its max capacity. So those 10 to 15 minute lines were now 30 to 40 minute lines. Nobody wants to wait in line for 40 minutes freezing their butt off to go down a slide that lasts 15 seconds. The place was so packed you could barely move without bumping in to people, there wasn't a lounge chair or seat open anywhere. It is very frustrating when you pay $40 a person to get into a place to not be able to move or go on all the attractions. on a brighter note I did like how you can pack a cooler and bring in all your own food and drinks so you don't have to spend a ton of money on that stuff inside the park! read more

Brief Line Up Front: A little pricy but not a bad water park to go to. I highly recommend getting a private seating area so you can enjoy your time while not in the pool. I came here with the wife and son (7 months old) and we had a good time. The only issue we had is that children under 2 must wear a life vest. The life vests are super bulky. I really wish this was optional in the lazy river and kiddy pool. My son likes water but had a hard time in the vests there. We had a great time, wife enjoyed the rides, its just that I wish my son was 3 years old and could skip the life vest issue. read more

Water Wizz was just... Ok. I feel like safety was second because it definitely was not top priority. One of the yellow slides dipped in a very scary way every time someone went down it. No... it was NOT supposed to do that! Other water parks you can tell make safety a priority... This one is sort of enter at your own risk... and it is a risk. Over all it was clean(ish)... let's be honest with that many people... Clean(ish) id all you can get. I saw people constantly cleaning so they were doing the best they could there. This summer while on Cape we wanted to go to a water park, so we decided to stop in at Water Wizz. The last time we had visited this park was as children, so coming back to this park brought back a lot of fun memories. The cost to enter the park was similar to other water parks and the park didn't seem as crowded as the other parks we have been to in the past. This park had the right blend of slides and the lines weren't that horrendous. In the end, we loved the time we spent at this park and we were excited to have come back to such an important part of our childhood. It was also great starting new family memories with our little niece. The final thing that I need to say is that I enjoyed seeing this little park make it onto the silver screen. It's hard to match the charm of The Way Way Back, but Water Wizz has certainly done it! I spent about 5.5 hours there this afternoon with my family (6 people ages 13-63 with varied levels of dare-devilness). From the lazy river to the wave pool to Devil's Peak, everyone enjoyed themselves at their own pace. The staff and lifeguards were particularly attentive and warm. We all had a blast getting airbrush tattoos from Sarah and Matt. Plus, all of the ride attendants, food service staff and shop keepers were wonderfully friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic day and we can't wait to go back next summer! read more

Cozy park.. not very big but it has many slides. We came at 10 and stayed till 4 we played every ride. The employees standing near slides are no where professional, they do not really care, there was an orange slide that at first u feel its dangerous and u might fall off, the person who was supposedly helping us and guiding us was not paying attention at all and did not seem to do his job right, he was speaking on the phone or chatting with others with no care. That was so off! What if really some one fell of it because u did not care much to instruct him/ her??! Over all We enjoyed the park but if u are looking for much more fun then go to Six Flags. Got there at 9:45AM today, and left at 5:45PM a happy, tired family. Truthfully can't say enough great things. The place was clean, and staff were constantly working around the premises to keep tidying. The bathroom floors were clean for goodness sake!! The rides were thrilling but with wide age family friendly areas. There was literally something for everyone. Extreme slides, medium thrill slides, easy going lazy river, wave pool, kiddie splash areas, tons of seats, tons of actually decent food options and super attentive staff. Treated my whole family to end-of-summer trip to Water Wiz. I rented a cabana as well. While walking the ten-ish feet from our cabana to garbage can, a woman screamed repeatedly, "WATCH OUT! WATCH OUT!" I had no idea she was screaming at me until a second later I stepped into human feces. Human feces! Mortified, I ambled off to the bathrooms, which seemed an eternity away at that moment and proceeded to scrub my foot in the sink. Other patrons were not pleased. When I finally returned, maintenance was in process of cleaning up the mess. Mind you, this wasn't on the grass or somewhere not there any place is acceptable but this was straight out in the middle of the park. I asked if there was someone I could talk to. Initially an employee came by and apologized and offered me done sanitization spray. Then they comped my cabana later. We had been at the park 90 minutes at that point and my four little kids were so excited to be there so I just sucked it up but I was mortified, thoroughly disgusted and itching to get out if there. Couldn't eat anything that day, grossed out beyond belief. I paid a lot of money for five tickets and did not expect there to be a pile of human waste on the ground. The park itself was busy, lines were pretty long but it was end of summer so that seemed normal. My first and last time there for sure. read more

My son got hand foot and mouth disease here... thanks for that. $100 for him to contract this disease. No doubt in my mind this is exactly where he got it. We will NEVER be back! Too many people anyway. Lines were way too long to wait in and it's crazy they expected my son to ride alone and then I waited to catch him at the bottom and got constant dirty looks. Ps. This place is literally run by teenagers- rarely did I encounter an adult. I think the fact you can bring in your own food also brings in a lot of "undesirable people" as well. Given this is a outdoor event , one would think that 62 degree weather with no sunshine in the month of July would constitute an exchange for another day or close the park. We took our toddler here and he (and we) had a blast. Plenty to do for a young child with multiple splash areas and slides. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but with your choices limited in the area, I'm not surprised. They make up for it though as you're able to take food, coolers, and pizza boxes (yes we saw plenty of those while standing in line!) inside the park. No alcohol either which I liked to keep it a family friendly environment. I recommend getting there early, even before they open as the lines form quickly and if you're able to purchase tickets prior to 9am of the day you want to go, you'll get in much quicker. What started out as a great day quickly turned sour. While this is no reflection on the kind people that work at the park, I feel compelled to warn the general population that it isn't safe to leave name brand footwear,especially crocs as seat holders or in plain sight. My sandals along with my goddaughter's were stolen right from the foot of our chair, while my sons' generic crocs were still there upon our return to our seats. I would imagine even those who rent cabanas need to be cautious as well. What is happening to society when an individual will sink so low to steal shoes from a child? Tough pill to swallow, but lesson learned. Going forward, I will be purchasing water shoes that we can wear on all the park's attractions. I suggest all visitors do the same. read more

Ok...so Water Wizz....Well, unless you are a working parent needing somewhere for the teens or kids to hang out for a day while you work, run errands whatever, I would bypass this place real quick! TOO MUCH MONEY! Way too much money for the small size. Spend a little extra and go to Canobie Lake or 6 flags. Well worth it. This is a convenient place I would say because it is close to home, apprx 1 mile. But it's not worth it unless you are really desperate. I wish they would expand the park rather than the parking lot but hey, parking is important! Im not saying it is a bad place at all but since the Grown Ups movie, it has become more popular, just nothing to go crazy with. Awful. After researching the best, least busy day to go, my family chose a Monday. I searched the Water Wizz website to see if they posted any type of alert with regards to the typical volume expected and found no information. We arrived at the park 30 minutes after they opened and they were already jammed. My family circled the park for nearly an hour to find someplace (anyplace!!!) to set up camp and finally found a picnic table in the very back, under a dripping water slide, overlooking the parking lot. We settled in and went to get a locker for our cell phones, wallets and keys. We stood in line and when we get to the front we were told there were no small lockers available and we would need to rent a more expensive, large locker. Seemed like overkill but, ok. We were assigned a locker (we were not able to pick our own location) which was not remotely close to close to convenient but we didn't have a choice so we took it. Next we moved on to renting tubes, in my research I found that this was the best way to go and would get you through lines much quicker. Nope, those were already sold out for the day too. Not ideal, but ok. So much for Monday's being the least crowded day! We move on to the slides to find the lines are ridiculously long. We wander around and find one that seems to be moving fairly quickly and we take our place in line. And we wait... And wait and wait. 45 (!!!) minutes later we get to the top and take our turn. It was fun but definitely not worth a 45 minute wait. We have now been at Water Wizz for nearly 3 hours and have gone on exactly 1 ride! We decide to move on to the lazy river. GROSS would be the best way to describe it. There was a line to get into it. I have NEVER seen a line to get into a lazy river. And the river was so packed full of people you couldn't actually see water, you could only see tubes. Not exactly enjoyable. We headed back to the tube rental place to try our luck again but they were still sold out so we can wandered around a bit longer to see if we could find a manageable line. We settled on one and waited. And waited. And waited. After nearly an hour we had barely moved. This was the point we decided to cut our losses. We got out of line, packed up our belonging, went to the opposite end of the park to our assigned locker and headed towards the exit. We were now at the park for over four HOURS and had gone on ONE ride. As a family, we had paid over $150 to go on ONE ride! When we were headed out the exit, I stopped and talked to a man working and asked him about the volume of people. He mentioned that it was a Rhode Island holiday and the crowd was DOUBLE what they would normally see on a Monday. He mentioned that this day was marked on their calendar and that they had extra staff in place. Being from Massachusetts, I would have no idea that it was a holiday in another state. I decided to reach out to Water Wizz via email. I feel that they have an obligation to let their patrons know of their anticipated "high volume" days and let the consumer decide. A simple blurb on their website would be sufficient. I actually took the day off from my job so that we could go on the least busy day so that I could have an enjoyable day from my family. Instead I spent a lot of money to spend hours in line. When I reached out to Water Wizz I asked if they would consider giving me passes so that we could return on a less crowded day so that we could really experience what the park had to offer. Given this park is fairly close to my home I really wanted to give it a fair chance before writing it off. The response I received was sarcastic and immature which is unfortunate. There will be no redemption here. I will NEVER go back to Water Wizz. I will never recommend Water Wizz. In the future I will drive a little longer to a water park with a great reputation and standards. read more

It was dirty, there was trash floating in the lazy river and not like a thing or two , I mean legit floating trash where the filters are. Disgusting . Bathrooms smelled like urine so badly it smelt like a ses pool. Slides are outdated and half of them seem like they're going to break esp the yellow slide . on the slides near the wave pool , the wooden stairs swayed back and forth and the whole structure was shaking noticeably . it made me uncomfortable and gave me anxiety .Had a good day with my friends because we made the best of it , but I won't be back. I have a serious bone to pick with whomever is responsible for this water park. First of all, the staff not only appears to be miserable, but they offer contradicting information when asked questions about the park and slides. I got different answers from different staff members on multiple occasions. In the morning, we went on the Canal slide and were told that apparently there was a line to the side for people who wanted single tubes, and the main line was for people who wanted double tubes. Later in the day we went back and asked if it was true (there are NO signs anywhere clarifying which line to stand in, etc). The staff member replied "you can do that" and so we waited. He switched with another staff member shortly after and then he informed us that it wasn't true and we had to go back and wait in the main line. What a waste of our time! These guys are so indifferent and clueless! On another slide, I was handed a mat that was torn and asked the employee if that was okay that it was ripped and he just shrugged and said it was fine. I've never met staff anywhere that has cared so little about doing their jobs well or efficiently. Additionally, the tube and mat situation on the water slides is miserable. They were short on tubes and mats on every single slide that required them, extending lines for what seemed like forever. If you paid extra to rent a tube you could essentially cut the people in line who were waiting endlessly for tubes. This was really irritating. Why not just have enough tubes for everyone in the first place? I've never been to a water park that has not had enough tubes for a ride if they are required for the ride. And on top of that the rudeness and indifference of the staff was just extra irritation. If that wasn't enough, the gravel on the ground was really painful after a while. Even the plastic stuff on the stairs going up to the slides would hurt your feet. You'd think they don't expect people to walk around barefoot. On the bright side, the slides were really fun (when we actually got to go on them). My nephew had fun in the children's areas, but I must also complain that there were older kids (too old for the particular area) who were very rowdy with lots of smaller kids around, and the "lifeguard" did nothing to ask them to stop. Also, there were lots of parents who didn't even really watch their kids. It's really a free for all. Overall, we thought the slides were fun, but the lack of tubes, the cutting in line of people who pay extra to rent tubes, the staff's indifference, etc etc really outweigh the pros. The price is also a bit hefty for a small park, especially if you consider renting your own tube to save time waiting in line. Definitely don't go here on a weekend or holiday. read more

We were craving a water park day while on vacation and Water Wizz was the closest water park to us in New England. Myself, my boyfriend, his sister and her fiance decided to come here for a fun double date for a few hours so we could become kids again. The park is really small -- it only has about 7 slides for us adults, a lazy river and a wave pool. They also have a few kiddie parts that are catered to children under 10 as well if you have little ones. For what you get, prices are really steep ($40 before 2pm, $30 between 2-4pm and $20 after 4pm and they close at 6pm). We got there about 3:30pm and paid the $30 each, but I wish we had sucked up and waited until 4pm for the lower prices since we were pretty much done in two hours and the park pretty much cleared out around 5:15pm and none of the rides had lines after that. The slides were really fun here and I felt like I was a kid again, which was really fun. We also did the lazy river, which was fun and relaxing. I forgot how much I love water parks and my boyfriend and I said we need to visit a water park again when we get home! Overall, this place is fun to have a couple hours of fun. I'd suggest getting here at 4pm and saving your money, though. Cheers! read more

This place really surprised me. I was thinking it would be a run down tourist trap, but we had the best time here. It was me, my husband, and my 2 children, age 4 and 5. There were so many "little kid" areas, I was so excited. Kids under 48 inches are required to wear life vests in all areas, even in the kiddie areas where the water is 18 inches, but safety first. Also there is only 2 slides the smaller kids can not go on. If you have a daring 5 year old, he can ride almost all the rides! You can pack your own lunch, and we went on a busy Saturday in July and got lounge chairs under an umbrella, I would not waste the extra money for the cabana, not worth it. This place is very small, not nearly enough water slides and long lines for everything. Went on a summer weekday and it was an hour plus wait for its 2 primary water slide towers. The only other options were kiddie slides. If you're looking for a lazy river and activities for small kids, then this place is ok. Otherwise, choose a different waterpark. read more
