    Cool balance activity

This place was so cute! It's perfect for kids.. not so much for teenagers or adults. Loved the lazy river and the giant blow up water slides, besides the fact that walking up them is very slippery and you could fall.

This is my second time in this hotel and it's a great place for families. Both adults and kids enjoy the park. Has enough varieties of games, jumpy houses and the lazy river is a great place to get some tan and relax as well. Has enough free parking spaces within the property. The outdoor pool area is not big but both both the kids and adults had fun in it. We didn't get to use the indoor pool but it's about the same size as the outdoor one. The rooms are a bit too small, but cozy. Couple of things that I would suggest a change is the bathroom and the closet which doesn't even look like a closet. Definitely needs a renovation/upgrade.

This park is beautiful and amazing. The bathrooms were a little gross but the lazy River was amazing and everything else was so cool.

Planned this trip a month an a half ago, booked the hotel (not on Groupon and separate from park) and bought the tickets off of Groupon with a 20% off promo code which came to about $31.20 instead of the $39.00 which is advertised. In between the time we booked my friend forgot she had something planned that same day so we didn't get to the park till almost 6pm. As we arrived the front desk attendant told us the water park closes at 6pm which we was okay with since it was cold that day. And we aren't planning to come back. The front desk attendant mention it wasn't worth it but we insisted. We should of been dressed for the weather because it was cold. We was in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. Windy and chilly weather prob in the 60s early 70s. My three year old son had only 4 bounce house he can go into. The rest of the bounce house u have to be over 38 inches. Not good for his age at all. Mind u if the weather was nicer and we got there early maybe he could of gotten to enjoy the water park. As I seen the water park while inside it doesn't look anything to big just a park with a few slides sprinkles and a bucket that fills up and tips over. In my opinion this is a great age for ages 6-10 year olds. I think they would really enjoy it. The best thing about it is they serve alcohol, the drink I had was really good. Maybe a few of them would of kept me warm!

    So many inflatable bouncy houses!!!

I've put off writing this review because I cannot decide how many stars it deserves. Five stars because it's set up to allow/expect children will run around while parents sit under their umbrella table. Four stars for value; while adults do not need to buy admission to the inflatable park, they must buy a ticket into the water park, even if they do not plan on partaking. I do understand this, however, there aren't any tables/ umbrellas on the water-side of the park, so there's that. Next, there needs to be a bigger price differential between children and adults. My small child was too short for the challenge course, but bigger than a toddler... how come a seven year old pays the same as a sixteen year old? The awesome thing is that you can leave and come back, which is what we did for lunch. The not so awesome thing is that there are limited lockers and even more limited tables with umbrellas. This results in the early birds claiming prime tables, leaving their belongings on chairs all day, never actually sitting down... leaving the rest of us slow-pokes to fry in the sun! All in all this place is awesome. Small child fell asleep within minutes on the way home after spending the day here. For $50 (each park is $25, though there's a small discount if you buy passes to multiple parks/sections) you get built-in supervision and endless entertainment... I'll take it. We will be coming back at the end of the summer with our little guy and my niece and nephew. I look forward to it!

Inflatable park. Scaled down from years past

First visit this year. New wave pool is a nice addition - but the adventure park the tweens/ teens enjoyed is gone. Paid $30 for the inflatable park that had been considerably downsized and geared at younger kids. My group ranging in age from 12 - 15 were super disappointed and my 12 year old said it's for babies. They have loved it years past. I liked the new cafeteria style lunch - but the teenagers running it are clueless and not very polite. Some food options advertised online are only available if you rent a cabana. So don't expect a quesadilla or fried pickles if you are general admission. Saw three kids taken away during our visit with injuries. My son hurt his neck on an inflatable slide going down it. So be cautious. We would have been better off saving $30 each and staying away from the inflatable park as my tweens/ teens not interested without the trapeze, zip line, etc...

    New huge slides!!! Very nice

Water park is great! We come back every year. This time around we stayed in your hotel which was ok - it was smelly and our neighboring rooms were loud all hours of the night. Families had a party and adults were drunk and acting crazy. The inflatable bounce area was very fun but the workers who were young teens , some paid zero attention to the kids on the bounce area. There is a jousting one and kids were fooling around and pushing , it was hard to grab the joust when it fell and not fall off . The young kid sat looking down on his phone . Happy to see more slides coming in next year!! Glad you guys replaced those old blow up huge slides with new ones that are nice & sturdy! Those other ones made me so nervous my young kids loved going on them. Lots of BEES in table areas!! Hard to sit while eating they are all over your food. Wayyy tooo many!! Especially near the drink stand . Something needs to be done!

    Bad golf course

Slay girl I love this place but they do have a golf course like I said in the photo and I hate the golf course

This review is for the "Challenge" park. What a great option for big kids!! My 10 year old daughter had a fantastic experience. It lived up to all her expectations. We had a rough patch at first because she was trying to do the "Monkey Bars" which is a prerequisite to do the trapeze. She was hot, sunburned, exhausted, and discouraged, but staff member, Blagoy was so encouraging & kind. He went out of his way to make sure my cranky 10 year old was okay. I thought I was hot standing in the shady spots, but the staff are standing in direct sun all day & they were all fantastic. Kind & helpful and clearly concerned for the children's safety. Overall, it was such a great experience & I would recommend to families with older children!

I brought my 12 year old and 17 year old sons here today. I had one burning question: what age is this place good for? She refused to answer directly, obviously under orders from the owners of the park to hedge her answer. My older son was extremely hesitant to even come in because most of the kids in the lobby were under ten. I ended up buying my older son the $25 challenge park pass, and the younger son the $41 combo pass that allowed access to all the areas. The challenge pass for older kids is mostly worth it. That section offered rock-climbing, a trapeze,, tightrope, and a few more challenges. Do not bring out of shape kids here! They will feel frustrated and struggle mightily. My 12 tear old enjoyed the challenge park as well, but ended up not going to the rest of the park because he had no one to do the rides with. Overall, this is good for kids 4-12, but not really good for older teens.

WINNER WINNER, CHICKEN... ! Arrived 10:20 on a Wednesday. Easy parking, minimal line, price board clearly visible. Basically, you can purchase just an inflatable dry ticket, or combo with water inflatables and challenge (think ropes, monkey bar type thing which require skill). Bring socks or pay $1. We chose a cabana because I knew I didn't want to sit out in the sun and heat for the amount of time worth the admission for my 2 boys @ $45 each. Gazebos are $50. Happy to pay it for lounge chairs that recline, a couch, table, privacy, and a waitress for the day :). They have cool features like jousts, wrecking balls, large slides that require effort and skill to climb, hence I sat in my cabana. My two sons, 8 and 9 loved it. Stayed 5 hours, they wanted more. The wristband is good until the close. Water inflatables are closed by 6. The staff is kind and accommodating. Most of them speak with a (Russian?) accent. They are efficient and pleasant. They watch each ride, help with gear (head guards for jousting) and work hard. Food offerings are snack bar-ish. Burgers, dogs, pizza (pretty crappy/oily), cheese fries. Honestly, their food is their weakest offering but you wouldn't come here just to eat; if you want something awesome after, go to Mike's Roast Beef and Pizza (yes, that's the name, I kid you not but it rocks) on your way back. And yes, the moment you've waited for... They serve booze. Beer, wine, mixers, the usual fruit shit and Bloodies for a not crazy price. I can't vouch for the pour; for me, it's ginger ale. After 5, all bets are off. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Great place for kids to have nonstop fun!!! They enjoyed every part of the park for 2 days!!

I have collected Edaville souvenirs and memorabilia for as long as I could remember and I don't wanna say that I'm a train enthusiast, but my career is ON a railroad. I was seriously delighted to hear that the KRF group was going to tackle keeping the Christmas season alive at Edaville! Before our visit, a lot of the local pages on Facebook had naysayers and doubters, and I took the reins trying to be positive: "If it wasn't for the KRF group, there would be no Edaville, since the previous owner gave up and sold off all of the rides." With all that said, we visited with an open heart and mind, and were sadly, completely underwhelmed. Yes, I did notice there were more lights around the park -more so than the last few years. I thought that the giant Christmas tree just beyond the entrance was quite lovely. And, I hate to say it, but that's the end of what delighted me. The shops from the last few years were missing (Hippie Pilgrim, the antiques, the hand painted ornaments,) and the only shops to visit (and there were so few) were those also featured during the renaissance faire. To be honest, some of those shops featured Christmas items, but mostly, it was confusing and completely underwhelming. To call anything on the advertising and Edaville ticket pages a "Merry Marketplace" was quite deceiving. The Jingle Bar, advertised as 21+, was fun and festive but it was crowded with children. And the thing that really disappointed me the most? PortaPotties! It was 33° and I know the Venue has bathroom facilities! To make people use outdoor, frigid cold toilets and cold water is downright cruel! To charge $28 for a visit that doesn't include a train ride, to shop in 10-15 shops featuring old English provisions, and to pee in a PortaPotty, is a crime.

Reading through the more recent reviews it's clear a lot of people are disappointed in Edaville. My…read morefam went once for the holiday lights in December and recently for the Day Out with Thomas Event. Both times my family and I have had a ton of fun. My son is five and the majority of rides are perfect for him. This is truly a great spot for young elementary school aged kids and younger. There are a few rides where you have to be taller and keep the older kids a bit more engaged and plenty of rides for the younger bunch. Is this place pricey-- yes! But show me an amusement park that isn't. The tickets are high, but you can spend at least four+ hours at the park. We have not encountered crazy lines as others have. The Topham Hat car ride always has a longer wait at around 20ish minutes, but for almost all the others we never waited more than 5-10 minutes. The steam train ride is nice and it's a pretty long ride around the park. If your child loves trains, they will love it here. All the model trains/tracks inside are great to look at as well. It is a little weird how they must have lost their Thomas the Train licensing and the Thomas area very clearly used to be Sodor but now is a winter village. Things like the Dieselworks and the Troublesome Trucks are still pretty clear, even it it's not official. The food here is pretty standard. There is a local BBQ place that must rent out on of the stalls though, because their food was super tasty. Otherwise it's more hot dog, chicken nuggets, fried dough, popcorn, etc. I never went to Edaville before the new owners took over, so maybe that is why my perspective is different-- I have nothing to compare it to. Looking through old pictures though, I do hope they bring dinoland back! My family will be heading back in December for their Festival of Lights!
