I got the deal for groupon for foot massage. There are 2 location this one and the other at San mateo. This location are many parking lot so is easy to park because is in the plaza near by the fitness but is on the second floors.. I came in the afternoon and not so busy. This place very quite and clean. I got foot massage with the deal and i add the sea salt scrub for $10 I love it so much and is worth for me i could not my masseuse name she was very good and the sea salt scrub is my fevourite part and relaxing. At begining the water for the feet was too hot for me but you can tell them to put more water. The services was very good nice and clean, massage was great make me fall asleep and relaxing. Scrub part was perfect for me. I definitely come back again for sure and reccomend this place if you want to relaxing with a good price. read more

I love the water lounge in millbrae! The staff is very friendly and always available to accommodate last minute appointments! The prices are very reasonable. I felt safe ith covid precautions as well. I wore 2 masks just because of close contact and my therapist had a mask on too and there is hand santizer all over the facility and temp checks. I had david as my massage therapist and i was so happy with him! My shoulders have been bothering me for weeks because of some overuse and pretty big knots and david really dug into those knots and loosened them up with heavy pressure and I could feel them being relieved. He must have thought i was so tense! Pain has never felt to good!! I think with constant over use of my shoulders and back I will be making more appointments in the future and I will forsure be requesting david if he is around! My wife and I found a great Groupon deal for a full body and facial massage for $182 with an extra $50 off making it $132 per person, so we decided to come. When calling to book the appointment the lady told us not to purchase the Groupon and that they would honor the price offered by Groupon. She requested that we take a screenshot. When we arrived, even with the screenshot she refused to honor the Groupon price and was not friendly at all. We are inclined to believe that she told us not to purchase the Groupon deal with the intention of never honoring the price. We are beyond disappointed and upset! Don't come here! Was here last week for a massage, facial and a hair treatment. The technician who did my hair treatment honestly didn't know what she was doing! I felt like she was peaking at my scalp with her hands like an ostrich. I don't consider myself tender headed but this was a painful experience and no where near relaxing! In addition to my horror, the technician did not understand that I was literally getting burned with the boiling hot water she was using to rinse my hair! I kept telling her, Oh my it's too hot! She was like, "what it's not hot"! I told her it's too hot for me can you stop. You would think she would cool the water down before continuing but instead of doing that she continued on with the treatment and make the steak portion even hotter. I felt like I was being suffocated with the steam. I had to get up and stop the treatment. I could not survive it was unbearable. To add insult to my experience after my massage while I was checking out the masseaus comes out and stands behind the counter and was like are you going to tip me. I was soo shocked and embarrassed since there were people waiting to be called in at the lobby. I looked at her and said I was going to until you demanded it. She tried to play it off and offer me tea. Once I finished my payment with the tip included the masseas comes back to see how much she got as a tip said something in a different language and walked away. The lady in the lobby was like oh usually people tip more, can you give 20 dollars more. I looked at her and said excuse me? She looked at me and was like you're giving me an uneven number and it would be easier if you give me more for a tip. I turned around and left. They have a terrible expectation on tipping and if it is not the amount they want they will ask for you to give more for tip. I never been to a place where they actually ask for high tip. You would think that since it's a reasonable priced spa that they would be professional but this place is far from that. Never again will I come here. Save your money, the massages here are terrible, you think your getting a deal because it's cheaper then going to Burke Williams, but honesty I would pay three times there price for a good massage and a professional staff. I can't lie and say I got a Swedish massage or a Thai massage at the Waterspa, it was a massage where they rubbed there boney elbows on your back and tapped your back. No really a honest business. I called to ask to price match a Groupon deal for a couple massage and facial. Once we arrived, we were asked to add a lot of add ins for additional cost. The Swedish to deep tissue is additional $30 and the European facial to collagen facial is additional $30. Hot stones, seal salt bags, essential old and hot stone supposed to come with the deal but were told need to have pay extra. They couldn't find a room for us and we were walking with the host to knock in each room to see which was vacant. Finally settled in a room for us, but were told they were running late we were waited for another 15 mins. The masseurs were nice but one of the the massage beds was making very loud squeaky noise the whole time, so nothing relax about the experience. Facial was the worst I ever had and they just massaged your face than doing facial. They didn't explain anything about the facial and w You had no idea what they have done on your facial. Paid $30 extra for add on collagen package but not see the value or any difference that was done. The price we paid for the service is exactly the same as we purchase the a la carte, so no sure what is the "value" from Groupon deal. Also, it was supposed to 120 minutes but it was really just 90 - 100 minutes from the time they were running late and finishing early. Will not go back again read more

She chased us around asking us to leave tips but we noticed she was not giving the tips to the workers and when we tried to get it back and give the monet to the people who worked on us, she refused to. But the receptionist really forces you to give atleast $20 tip right in front of the masseuse. I frequent the 24 hour fitness across from this spa and decided to treat my husband for the holiday for a 8pm massage. let me tell you the bad experience my husband just had. Honestly we don't mind paying top dollar for a good massage but his was mediocre. First they have a sign promo saying 29 dollars for an hour foot massage. Yet they charge you 38. When I called and the lady on the phone said oh only if you have a coupon. Which was not specified when I called earlier to book it! Secondly, after my husband was done with the massage he handed over a 5 dollar bill and the masseuse said no it is mandatory to give TEN dollars or above. Why? It was not even a good massage. So I called again to check and the lady at the front desk said there is a tipping chart BUT it is NOT mandatory to give a set amount. And so I mentioned my husband was just there and the masseuse asked for ten and rejected the five. Guess what she said?? They can't control what the masseuse asks for. Those are your employees? What a waste of 48 dollars over a mediocre over priced foot massage. Oh and my husband said that when he was at the front desk about to pay and wash shocked about the price difference the rude front desk condescendingly said "yah! 38!" Never again will we go here! I booked the 150 Minute Body and Foot Massage with Salt Sauna Package :Including 60 Minutes Body Massage with Essential Oil and Hot Stones 30 Minutes Foot Reflexology with Sea Salt Soak&Hot Sea (couple massage) via Groupon for my mom and I. First of all, I booked my appointment 2 days prior for 5:30pm on a Friday. Surprisingly there was no one there from what I could tell. When we checked in, the receptionist asked if we wanted to upgrade our massage with hot stones & essential oils. I told her I thought that was included and she said no, charged me $9 per person for hot stones. We were seated for our foot massage first, the room was not ready at all. Seeing as there was no other customers and we had an appointment, the preparation should've been done already but instead we had to sit there for 15 mins as the ladies ran in and out of the room, warming up towels, etc. The two masseuses carried a conversation between the two of them the entire time, not allowing any relaxation but I put it off as we were also talking. During the "60 min body massage" they continued to talk and laugh loudly with one another, never turned off or dimmed the lights. I had to awkwardly request if this part of the massage could be "quiet." We received the hot stone treatment which was definitely mediocre at best and rushed. We never received any essential oils. After our massage, we were given robes to wear in the salt sauna. We could not last in it for the whole 30 mins so we left early. Our masseuses never told us what to do after, or that they would come get us so I wandered the entire spa looking for someone to tell us where to change. Went to the reception area but was ignored as the receptionist was helping someone at the desk. She never acknowledged my presence so we went to the bathroom to awkwardly change back into our clothes, sweaty and sticky from the sauna. This is where it gets worse - when I went to the receptionist to show her my Groupon voucher that states hot stones & essential oil was included in the package I purchased she told me it wasn't even though I had it pulled up on my phone. When I asked that the double charge be refunded she argued with me, saying they asked Groupon to remove that from the website, and that I already enjoyed the service so she wouldn't refund. When I kept insisting on my refund, and that this was false advertisement, she then said if I wanted a refund then she'd have to pay for it out of her own pocket and pulled out her debit card. I said no I just wanted my refund, she tried to shoo me off by saying she had to answer the phones and that she was done talking about this. I was appalled. She said she refunded me after arguing for about 10 minutes, then when I tried to leave a tip for the masseuses - she pointed at the sign where it was says what's a "good tip" by the hour, and with attitude said "you actually had a 2 hr service, but ok if that's what you'd like to leave them" I could not believe it. I had set asides $25 for each lady that helped us, which I thought was more than fair since I looked up the total value of the massage we received and applied 20% as the tip. Considering it wasn't even a good massage, service nor establishment I thought it was more than fair. The receptionist's rude behavior throughout the whole thing made everything 100% worse. She also chased after me to ask for more tips for the ladies, and called me 2 times after I left to ask that I deauthorize the charge she refunded me for so that she could "tip the masseuses". Recently I want to recommend couple of friends here and give them the address, one of my friend told me she saw bad reviews on Yelp and I realized I have to come here to say something. You know what? I saw one of the bad review written by someone 9 days ago? I am just the customer who was there, I came to my appointment when the 2 ladies ready to check out, I noticed the whole process. I have to say all the things she said are all not the truth! 1. The place has Groupon promotions recently, the 2 ladies did upgrade their services with Hot Stone, which was not included in the service list. (I use GP as well some of the service include stone but some of them were not. ) For the store promotion, only $9 per person to add on. When they checked out they want a refund without any reason. This is nonsense, you have to pay what you already done instead arguing with the the front desk, she just did her job. 2. The place has a tip chart, like we going to the restaurant, 15% 18% 20% or more listed (for here basic good $10-15 per person per hour) it's like a reference not request. It's reasonable, you can pick which level you want without thinking or even you can do no tips if you don't enjoy your service. The front desk lady checked with them nicely . "How is your service today?"They said good, but left tips which seems was not good enough to the 2 therapists for 150 mins service. Nothing wrong, I don't judge, but when the ladies get the $18 refund, they said we want this like add on tip to the therapists, the front desk said ok, but when she realized they already get the refund, she want to double checked with the them if they want to leave more? She ran out to chase them, they just ignored her. 3. During the whole process, the phone rings several times, other customers and I have to waiting for them, the front desk lady told them we have a lot of people waiting for help, but they just standing there for 15 mins to argue with her for the 18 bucks with ridiculous reasons. She did refund them to end up this drama, she was really nice the whole time. There is NOTHING WRONG with the front desk lady! 4. Stay away from the rude customers, bad reviews, this place deserved more people coming and you gonna enjoy your time here! read more

The spa used to be Day Spa, same layout, but the back portion is "subleased" to the escape room. The atmosphere was a bit old and outdated and musky. So once in awhile, you hear people coming out talking pretty loud while you are trying to relax, enjoying the messages. I had a foot message, but it felt like the entire legs were work on except my feet. The masseuse applied great pleasures and I can felt the pain occasionally in intense area.
