I drove to Bethany Beach, DE, for a change of pace and scenery. I got those -- and MUCH more, just a few steps north of my hotel room. I hadn't planned on shopping, didn't think I needed anything, but was lured into Water Lili by the cheerful colors and flowing fabrics of the clothing displayed just outside the store. The owner is a lovely woman who knows her customers, including potential ones, and has great empathy. I ordered a neat piece of intimate apparel. Then when I got home ordered a delightful big orange sweater that will arrive in a week or so! Her website is easy to use, and offers all kinds of clever wardrobe ideas. My friend and I visited this little boutique today and I found it to be quite adorable. It is located right on the boardwalk and has a wide variety of things. They had sale items outside and alot of great items inside, too. It was clean and had a great vibe. Manager was very chatty! Prices were average for a boutique. Cute place! read more

I shopped at Water Lili when on vacation this past weekend in Bethany Beach. The selection of clothing is extensive and the pricing is reasonable. But most importantly, the service is exceptional. We were staying at the hotel above the store. The hotel inadvertently damaged one of the items I purchased. Lili helped me find the style I needed to replace the pants and also did the best she could to try and repair the damage for me. Above and beyond. There is no doubt when we return to Bethany, I will be shopping at Water Lili again. I highly recommend the store. read more

I needed a dress for my daughters beach wedding and located one on their website. To my surprise it was there and looked exactly as shown on the website. I would give zero stars if it were possible. I ordered some sandals online that turned out to be too big, but a smaller size was not available (I would've gladly exchanged them for a smaller size). So, I needed to return them. I can't use sandals that are too big! There were no instructions on the invoice for returns - that should've been my first clue. My second clue should've been that I sent THREE emails over the period of a month, inquiring about how to return them. Just today, a month after my first email, I received an email that they don't accept returns, because of COVID, nor do they give a store credit & I would've been fine with that option!!! COVID is such a LAME, outdated excuse! That theory is obsolete, that COVID could be transferred via touch. Get out of the dark ages, unbelievable... There was no text anywhere, either online or the invoice, that said FINAL SALE - NO RETURNS. I wouldn't have bought them if I had known that, because I wasn't entirely sure of what size I'd need. BEWARE of this business- DO NOT SHOP THERE!! There's an online website and 2 brick & mortar stores - but no returns because of COVID or even store credit and extremely poor customer service!!! I will never shop there again, which is a shame, as I do like to shop/use local businesses whenever possible. read more
