Bargain prices, beautifully merchandised, nice selection, and attentive but not pushy customer service. Kristin Quinn & her Mom are super. She splits all consignments 50/50. So far, my stuff has sold for $50, and darn it all, I put it toward the luggage set I craved! I got 5 pieces of Vera Bradley Suzani luggage - worth at least $800 for only $175. This year it was even worse. We entered the store at 3:58 and asked what time they closed. Ladies informed us that they close at 4:30 and anything needed to try-on please do so by 4:20. Though that may not sound unpleasant it was unpleasant in the delivery. We well understood that we needed to be out by 4:30 promptly.

The store was brimming, almost overflowing, with curated women's clothing and accessories. I think we all found a little too much that we liked, including a summer dress, cardigan, and lots of jewelry. The prices were fair and ranged from $8-25 for the items we purchased. There were some designer pieces that were definitely higher and some folks may be disappointed if they are looking for dollar deals. Everything was hand selected for quality and condition so I think the prices reflect that. The shop keeper was very busy but cordial manning the phones (with lots of callers inquiring about consigning), ringing up sales, and helping in store customers. Most recently I dashed out while my mom watched my 8 month old to get a hostess gift for our family friend. I was greeted as soon as I entered by perhaps the owner (a friendly blonde woman). I told her I was looking for specific gifts (cocktail napkins, coasters, and a candle) and she showed me where said merchandise was located in each of the rooms. The store is cozy and inviting, as the name suggests, and is full of beach themed goods for home. It's a great spot for picking out a quick hostess gift, or a clever birthday gift (think cute wooden signs, pillows, cheese boards etc). The store isn't cluttered though it is full of options. I found some beach chair coasters (heavy and substantive), and a lovely candle that had an orange vanilla fragrance and helped feed a hungry child in South America with its purchase. I tried to use my Target card but stupidly didn't realize that it only works at Target.com or in Target stores (I don't have the master card that works everywhere). Oops. I only brought an AMEX but she kindly let me use that. I would have had to go back to our beach house and get my other card. I will be back next time I am in town looking for a gift. I bought a suit and brought it home and my mirrors and camera looked very different than what I thought it looked like in the store. I wanted to exchange just the top which had all tags. It was only tried on at home once and looked like an old lady according to my friends and daughter. Nope. They said we have a no return policy and tell every customer. I guess except me because I never would have bought it. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and won't be anymore. I'm giving the suit to a friend's mother who will look appropriate in it.
